hi all,
i bought a new phone Huawei G7 Plus RIO-UL00, it has no Google Apps and when i go to Settings -> Accounts -> Add Account there is an option to add Email Account, i entered my gmail account info (as usual) to sync all the things especially all contacts but when tap Sync all after account creation, it synced but only emails, not even any Contact...
can somebody help me in this situation ?

auto sync is on but don't know how to check that background data is on .... please help.
i have factory reset and installed google play store, from here i connect to my account but still it is not showing Contacts when tap on Settings -> Accounts -> Google -> [email protected]
and also when check Account from google play store app, it is not showing my Balance amount but can show my order history of my purchases. when checking this from my PC it is showing my Balance amount.

already did it, but not any google app or account option ... is there any other version / build i can update or install on it to get rid of this situation ?

If u want to backup ur contacts open contacts press menu click on import/export select export to sd ur contacts will be backed up in sd

there is no contact as i can't sync from google account... how i can make a backup of it? i think the problem is the firmware / stock rom which have not this feature.

Is there any app, which can backup my contacts along with the joined contacts information? I have many contacts which i have joined with FB, Twitter etc. But if i backup and restore via Kies, it just looses the join contact information.

Try Using Netqin Security (Antivirus). It has facility to Backup & then restore all the contacts. It saves the contacts on its server/cloud.

Use the built-in android "export to sd card" tool.
It saves all your contacts as a .vcf file. After importing this file on your new phone/rom you will just have to download facebook/twitter accounts and they will get merged automagically.
Worked for me and still works everytime i reflash a rom.

i don't think so, that this method works... because... u just backup the facebook contact, which have the same name as the facebook account...
it didn't work to another contact, which doesn't have the same name...
it mess everytimes, i reflash new ROM....

maybe this one works? or titanium backup? give feedback, who uses this one... and understand what i mean joined contact, which doesn't have the same name...

@marcelloLins gave you the best advice. If you prefer app then go for titanium backup & backup your contacts through it. Or you can also use root explorer and copy contacts from the phone to the sd-card & restore later

hi,
I m having samsung galaxy ace with full-26-03-12-cm7.2 the latest rom flashed. after flashing I did a hard reset and everything was fine. but suddenly my Facebook account disappeared from the accounts &sync.
I'm not able to add one.nothing happens when I click on add account-->Facebook
any suggestions on what I have to do?
note: I haven't rooted my phone yet

1)Why is there no chinese input setting for the keyboard? cant seem to find the option to type in chinese characters. Is there anyway i can get a keyboard with chinese input other than downloading it from the market?
2)I prefer a pop up msg for the SMS settings, i tried replacing the MMS.apk from MIUI ICS but it didnt seem to work. Anyone has any idea how to get the pop up setting for SMSes ?
3) My external SD recently stopped working, is there a way to get the music player to read from the internal SD, everytime i start up it says ''SD card not inserted''

Go into Settings --> Storage --> click menu key and select "Storage Configuration --> Uncheck "Use Internal Storage"

If you have synced your contacts with Google, then you can sync them using your Gmail account!
For some reason, contacts app is unable to import contacts from SIM! Maybe its a bug in base CM9!

I am wondered that can we enable full Facebook synchronization in cynogenmod 10.1 because cm10.1 does not allow Facebook synchronization again some apps in playstore only synchronize photos and nothing else i. e we want phone numbers and email address i searched across and this is it
We need
1) official Facebook app from playstore
2) contact apk and contact provider apk from link below
3) root browser or any file browser that have system acess
Procedure :
1) if u have already setup fb synchronization in acconts just remove it
2) now go to system - apps-contacts storage - tap clear data ( this will erase all numbers u have to synchronize u r all Google and fb contact again manually later or keep backup of contacts)
3) now go to root browser copy and paste both apps contact and contact provider apk in system - apk i. e u have to overwrite both
4) reboot phone
5)now setup fb account in system - account

I have already tried fb synchronization in latest cm 10.1 built it synchronized nothing ( we want phone numbers of our fb friends yaar) it just gives photos in u r contact list

Android removed native fb sync from 4.0 onwards. So it will not be there in cm 10.1 also.
I am using ubersync app to sync fb.
Will try the method specified by you also.
How to revert back? Or remove this If not needed? What is the procedure?

Before pesting moded apks given by me just keep the backup of original contact apk and contact provider apk when u want to goback follow same procedure.
I personally used these apks it is working no bootloop or nothing but for safety u can keep nandroid backup of u r rom i. E in cwm recovery go to backup and restore >backup
When u got any problem go to cwm recovery >backup and restore >restore (u r desired backup)

What did u mean contact +app
Used both app which i have given but while pasting both apps in system >app i used miui explorer. While using rootbrowser it doesn't replace original apk but creats another copy pf apk so it will not work so u have to first delete original apk and then paste moded apk given by me

This method suerly work because i tried some methods of fb synchronization from xda but it creats bootloop finally i extracted these apks from carbon rom 4.2.2 and it worked
Though if u r not sure then firstly u can go with contact+ app from playstore and tell me whether contact+ app sycronize all friends phone numbers and email addresses

i have tried your process 4 times. but face isn't syncing. i have also tried contac+, it is also not working. ubersyng also not working. find any other way please. .

It should work! But u have to remove u r fb account in settings, u should clear previous synchronized data of contacts storage and u should have latest Facebook app. U should follow mentioned procedure exactly. I don't think there will be any other method

I created my whatsapp account with the SIM I was using before. I didn't change my mobile,
But I changed SIM(number). Still I am using the same whatsapp account. So changing sim doesn't
change account.
So here is my Theory. Create an account with one sim card in one device.
And take out the sim and put in other device and login to the same account.
So later you can change sim, still you will be using the old account.
I have only one Xperia Miro. So this is not tested !!! Please post the result if you are trying this...

I installed whatsapp with a different number witch is great, but when I open whatapp in the second device it says that whatapp can be installed on only one device and that I must reverify the phone number. Anyways, thanks!

Make a backup of WhatsApp (data + app) on the device with the account on with Titanium Backup & send the backup to any other rooted device that you wish to install it on by importing the app & data & also make a back up of the WhatsApp folder from the phone that you have setup with the acct on & install that folder on all the devices that you plan to use WhatsApp on.
This works 100% & I've got it installed on my GT-i9100 (acct phone), HUAWEI Ascend Y600-U151 (slave), & a el-cheapo tablet. XD

Thanks for your suggestion. It will really helpful for me if you had implemented this successfully on your devices. But I have here some confusion, it didn't ask you for the account verification ? And here you say 'importing the app & data & also make a back up of the WhatsApp folder from the phone that you have setup with the acct'. I am not getting what you want to say. Please help me, its really needed to me.
I try below steps. Please let me know if any thing is wrong.
1 - Taken backup of whatsapp (app + data) on source (rooted) device.
2 - Send backup folder to destination (rooted) device via blue-tooth .
3 - Uninstall whatsapp on destination device if already exists.
4 - Restored whatsapp on destination device using Titanium backup.
Please know me if something wrong.
