Hello guys . I have a HTC One S (ville c2) . and I had a viper ROM , but dont remember the version. so i wanted to upgrade to 4.4 and I use one carbon rom I found here. so far no problems, just bugs in the rom .
but the phone was randomly reseting , the bluetoot was not working and I didn't like it. so I wanted to go back to my old ROM and I downloaded the new Viper ROM 5.2.1 for the ville c2 . work really great. BUT now I dont have network signal on my phone, my cousin told me that it is problems with the IMEI , (i didn't know it cause troubles when you downgrade) so I coming here for help and I already reserch a little so I will let you some info of my phone .
Hope you guys can help me to solve this problem .

Downgrading: funny thing is I created Goldcard, but dont know wat to do after creating it . there is only a guide of how to create a goldcard but nothing of wat to do after it.
if i could get some hint from users or even Admins abt wat to do it my depressing situation ...
a coffee will be on my behalf if i succeed eventualy ..

I did the same as you! I'm in the UK, got an unlocked ChaCha off Amazon. I used the HTC Dev bootloader unlock to be able to install ROMs; sherrymalhi's link will guide you through it but HTC's site has good instructions too. It's really quite simple

I had the old HBOOT too but HTC Dev's process gave me an updater, didn't they do that for you?
unfortunately its the opposite
you know when i updated my software OTA (over the air) it changed my hboot 1.10.0000 to 1.13.0000... and they dont have the new ruu for my 1.54.401.3(new software). instead they have the old one (1.54.401.2) and its not compatible with my hboot....
U can check it on the website they still have the old one there...
i've even mailed them yesterday and they said they are looking into it but its not gonna be online for a while.

Yeah you've gotta go for another one then. Maybe just hit up eBay and buy a better phone used
It is a shame really... But maybe i'll go for xperia mini pro or maybe a chacha that has a lower hboot :'( but anyway thanks for the posts

If you're willing to go for a used phone you can get a Desire HD for same price as a ChaCha currently is on Amazon (£145 at the time of writing)

Please, please, please help me I have a big problem with the touch screen unlocked phone and I want to install other software, but unfortunately I installed software for HTC ONE, Revolution HD, then why not install your software never worked at all, I could just go in recovery. I unlocked again and now it is S-ON I installed recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.6-m4-touch and other software from [ROM] [ONE-HYBRID] [SENSE 5.5] [GE] [KK] [CM ], but now the problem is that the touch screen does not work, I tried other software but to no avail, so PLEASE help me I'm desperate not know what to do, thank you.

Yeah maybe touch panel drivers, have you tried flashing stock rom/kernel?

Yes i try to flash stock rom 4,2 , 4.3 now i have , 4,4 i tryed to flash jmz kernel , budda kernel , i tryed Ruu but nothing . I can understand why my touch screen it`s unresponsitive. And another thing what it`s strange touch screen dosen`t work in recovery mode .

hi everybody, my quesion is simple. i face a some serious issue on my One Mini (app crashes, no 4G icon ) .. that appears after i've flashed the phone. ..
can i flash the AT&T RUU and after that install OTA from Europe ?
i'm not noob on dev but i prefer ask to be sure about that !!!

I think that the ruu will say that it isn't supported on your devices or image. Why don't you just a rom or another rom?

i have bought as second hand used an htc one mini. I live in Italy, so no Us.
The device report the following info, made by the previous owner:

It's possible when you have s-off, change you CID to correct with this RUU, but I don't know if it's works well. Should be..but not guarantee.
Maybe you could the at&t ruu by changing the cid to the at&t so that you could flash the ruu. I'm not sure if it'll work though.

I've read many threads but they all seemed to be old so I wanted to know if there is news on this subject.
I've bought my HTC one XL two years ago and I've put on a rom by Turge (I think it was this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2423735 )
My phone is now a little bit slow now and I can't have 4G on it I don't know why. I want to go back to a stock rom but here is the problem :
Originally my phone was a Roger, then I've put the venom rom and the Turge one.
Is it possible to go to a "stock" french vodafone ROM ? Will I be able to get OTA update ? And will the 4G be working ?
If not, I have to go back to a Roger stock rom ? Will the 4G be working ?
