[Q] HTC Desire HD unroot and upgrade from 2.3.1 to 4.0

Hello.
I have a rooted DHD with Gingerbread 2.3.1 on it.
Specs :
ACE PVT SHIP S_OFF RL
HBOOT-0.85.0024
MICROP-0438
RADIO-26.09.04.11_M2
eMMC-boot
I really do not remember how i rooted it.
Now, my phone has some issues and i want to update it to 4.0.
I RUU it, using RUU_Ace_Gingerbread_S_HTC_WWE_2.36.405.8_R_Radio_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2_release_187331_signed.exe. It worked like a charm, but i cannot make any update to my software and I really do not know if it worked the reset.
My question is : it is the right way to unroot and reset to factory defaults so i could upgrade OTA the firmware or is something i did wrong ? How i can upgrade to 4.0 ?

I tried that but I couldn't get it to work. Your best bet is to go get a custom ics rom from dhd development thread. I am using lord mod 6.1 works like a charm.

I have a Galaxy S II rooted (thanks to chainfire) and I updated from GingerBread to Ice Cream Sandwich using Odin and the stock firmware.
After that I rooted successfully the phone for the 9th time with CF-root.
Maybe you can do the same with HTC device

I see 4.0 for DHD is quite buggy. You should MIUI

[Q] [HELP] Sensation no signal problem

Hi eveyone
I'm a new user on XDA forums
I have a problem with my HTC Sensation z710e. It keeps loosing signal constantly.
When I dial a number it usually works fine but it doesn't recieve calls properly (people keep telling me that my phone is always switch off)
The phone is rooted an it's running on a custom ROM (InsertCoin Evolution Sense 4 v2.0 – Sensation). It has super cid 11111

Have a look at this post, it is a link to full instructions in that post as well. This comes from the "Sensation Radio/RIL files" thread and is just for Vodaphone users. You may want to have a good read through the OP of the radio thread as well.

[Q] Where to start?

Hi, I recently bought a used Sensation XE in nice condition.
For the last 18 months I've had a Desire which I rooted and ran a custom ROM.
Obviously I'd like to root my sensation although I'm not planning to run anything too extreme.
I've seen several guides suggesting using Clockwork Mod, 4EXT recovery or various root kits.
Has anyone seen an easy guide which would help me not mess up?
There seem to be several options available and I'm not sure which is best for my phone and versions.
My phone appears to be unbranded and is running:
Android Version 4.0.3
Sense 3.6
Software # 3.33.401.153
Baseband version
11.76A.3504.00U_11.24A.3504.31_M
The white boot screen says:

It has everything you will need or want to know. For starters, I would either HTC dev unlock the bootloader, or s-off your phone. Then I would install the 4ext custom recovery. After that, you can flash any ROM you want. My favorite is albinoman's 4.2.2 jellybean, but viper s jellybean ROM with sense is pretty popular. All the awesome ROMs are in the development section.

[Completed] Htc one no operating system!!!!!!!! Please help

hello i just got a htc one m7 with sense six and 4.4.2. I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it. i got cm11 and then flashed adnroid revolution hd rom with sense 6 and 4.4.3. but it was stuck at the htc logo. i Tried flashing the RUU but when RUU starts updating error 171 pops up fastboot.exe is not responding. i have no os please help btw i relocked my bootloader.PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Back to stock of an other country ?

Hello Xda !
I've read many threads but they all seemed to be old so I wanted to know if there is news on this subject.
I've bought my HTC one XL two years ago and I've put on a rom by Turge (I think it was this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2423735 )
My phone is now a little bit slow now and I can't have 4G on it I don't know why. I want to go back to a stock rom but here is the problem :
Originally my phone was a Roger, then I've put the venom rom and the Turge one.
Is it possible to go to a "stock" french vodafone ROM ? Will I be able to get OTA update ? And will the 4G be working ?
If not, I have to go back to a Roger stock rom ? Will the 4G be working ?
