Yeah most fast and easy bot. I just realize that if it stops "doesnt show logs" its still going cos i check the pogo app its show something in my journal that doesnt shown in the logs. Like in my journal i see zubat was caught but in the bot logs its not shown catching zubat.

Hey everyone, well i have some news for you. I'm sorry i cant deliver new build with stability tonight but androids architecture doesnt allow me that So if ur bot stops that means android paused thread where bot is running in background. Why they do that ? Most commonly to save battery or something similar. I have solution to prevent this behavior of android but it will take some time and refactoring. Altho if bot stops u dont need to relogin again, as I notices going to settigns view and going back will do the job. Thx all for support

Thing is currently android os has authority just to stop my thread even without notifying me. As long as u have enough resources app should be just fine. Still I have awesome soulution for escaping androids trap but it takes some time

Yep making it as system app make it more stable. I have no unknown error in background and the logs are shown not stucked. Thanks!

This won't hide your last seen status but will prevent you from getting any message outside the app itself
it works by killing the whatsapp background service and prevent it from restarting
Hope this clears the confusion

And the advantage is...? Other than maybe a somewhat better batterylife I fail to see any Usually an app like this is meant for people who want incoming messages to arrive will not constantly using the app.
YMMV of course, probably others will find it genius, dunno

You can't answer anyway because you HAVEN'T received it. As soon as you open the app and see the message you don't want to respond to you're already "online" again anyway and the same issue arrises. Why don't you answer, you are online!?
It's only of ANY use when you are able to see the message and the other party thinks not.

Got you sir but the app wasn't done for anonymously viewing the message but rather to not to get it in first place
WhatsApp doesn't go offline so you receive messages any time of the day, which maybe sometimes kinda annoying. so this disable the notification from coming if you want to and at the same time the other message stays at one tick so it didn't reach to the other side.

How often should I reboot my device? And if anyone knows any compelling reason to do so every x time?

Thanks for your answer. What you mean then is that Linux should not be restarted every so often? Why do you think that?
I don't think is really necessary to restart the phone every X time, this is why the Multi task engine or whatever its called on android can autoclose apps en free memory and RAM every certain time...
You don't have to reboot Android or Windows often.

We don't need to reboot our smartphones, but, at least in Brazil, Motorola says we need to reboot it once a day (LOL), sure it doesn't need.
If u expierence problems with lags or whatever, try to check ur installed apps.

Rebooting because of a rogue app won't solve anything, it'll come back. You're better off finding out the problem and fixing it.

Thanks again, you have reason. Look, this is the capture of the page of support of Motorola say: if you reboot dayli, you have better battery .
I really don't understand why Motorola says that, but I know they say that since Razr i. Anyways, I'm glad to help clarify some stuff sometimes we just need a friendly answer.
Sent using xda app-developers app
That is how Android works. Even if you swipe off the app in the recents applications, the background process of the app is still running and not killed. The only way to do this is to force stop the application or service.
Try greenify app from the play store. You can choose the hibernate the apps that you want and it will stop running until you force run it again. This is by far one of my favourite applications.
It makes more sense to install BBS and find the reason behind poor battery life, if you have problems with it. If you just restart your phone, the problem might go away for a while, but it will come back in the end.

There is no sane reason to reboot the phone daily, it is a very clueless advice, even if it comes from Motorola. Rebooting the phone only hides the actual problem instead of solving it. If you don't have any faulty app, then it will be even worse because the reboot cycle uses way more battery than letting the phone sleep on your desk, and if you have something that eats up your battery, you should get rid of that. Check first the Battery page in Settings, to check if there is anything suspicious.

[APP]Nokia Z Laucher

Hola Guyz !!!
I M CREATING THIS POST TO SPREAD THE NEWS ON XDA !!!
YES THE NEWS IS FROM OTHER SITES !! SO DONT BLAME ME !!
]Nokia may have been a tad too quiet these past few weeks - following the completion of Microsoft's landmark acquisition of its handset business - but that doesn't mean that the legendary Finnish electronics company has altogether dropped its vision of coming up with innovative products and services.
Thanks to Aswin08 !
Sure, Nokia won't be making phones anymore -- but considering its rich history and winning tradition (at least during the height of its glorious Symbian Era), its innovations are bound to go on in other ways.
In fact, just a few hours ago, Nokia shocked the tech community by releasing - of all things - its first ever launcher for Android smartphones simply called Z.
oFFICIAL STATEMENT OF THE COMPANY -
"At Nokia we’ve been thinking about ways to make smartphones easier to use, and there’s one problem we’ve thought about a lot; how to find stuff right when you need it. Today, people have an average of 48 apps on their phones, and that number is growing. When you add in contacts, web content, and tasks, it’s easy to see how tricky our devices have become to use.
Did you know every time you shuffle a deck of playing cards, you’re making history? With 52 cards to a deck, the number of possible combinations is so huge that your combination probably never existed before. Our phones are starting to feel this random too.
Finding the right app or contact – your Ace of Spades – constantly changes depending on where you are, what you’re doing, and what time of day it is. We’re introducing a pre-beta version of the Z Launcher to help change this.
As soon as you install and start using Z Launcher, it starts learning what you use throughout the day and automatically surfaces whatever you’re most likely to need at the right moment.
We also added a feature called Scribble – a fast and fun way to find anything on your phone in as little as one second. We’re used to tapping away at our phones to find things – rooting through folders, swiping and scrolling. Scribble makes this easier: Simply draw the first letter of what you’re looking for, right on your screen. Ta da! Z Launcher brings you the right app, contact, or task practically instantaneously. Or, as we like to say, less tapping, more apping."

[Q] security: chronologically keep track of all my apk installs

I recently received another scammish text which led me to suspect an app or apk I installed was to blame (possibly). Is there a way to chronologically see things I've installed on my phone. Stock Downloads app won't work because if I deleted the apk or installed it in a different way it won't show. There should be a way to see all of the things you've installed non market, apks, modules, or whatever. To be able to trace back and find a culprit. Kinda like a criminal rap sheet.
Your best bet is TITANIUM BACKUP !!! Sort all apps by date installed it will give you time installed !!!
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
No. I want something that can chronologically list on my phone all of those things that I've installed or modified or installed then deleted. Like a total history of installs.

Please elaborate....
Haven't heard of such a thing. Sorry.
Titanium can tell you app installs, even play store kinda keeps track. Initial install order anyway.
But to track apps, mods, alterations...anything? Nope. And flashing in recovery would not be trackable inside the O/S anyway.
---------- Post added at 11:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:06 AM ----------
Basically, if there isn't some kind of a thing on the play store....then it doesn't exist.
Scam texts are pretty common in some countries. I don't think it has anything to do with an app you installed unless you gave Snapchat your phone number as they got hacked a while back.
No snap chat for me. I thought of this idea for logs of this stuff before. There's got to be a way!

If you made an app to log package installs it would be a waste of time + have to be running on your device all the time. It'll also hardly be of any use, since most people aren't installing like 20 apps a day, every day. Just write it down if you really need to LOL.
For packages you currently have installed via Play or .apk installation you could go into /data/app and look at the dates on the .apk files. If you flashed something in recovery it'll show up as August 1 1970 or August 1 2008 or whatever generic date. As said previously, Titanium Backup uses this if you sort by date lol.
Edit, example (most mine are 25 July since I restored them through Titanium Backup):

Thanks guys. Glad you like the idea. I'm pretty sure you'd love the app as well.
But sadly, Google has rejected my alpha apk and ofcourse the Store Listing sighting that hacks are not allowed on Play Store. Most likely because I had mentioned about the 100% accuracy portion.
ATM I cannot risk my primary Developer account. So I will have to create a new account and try again. Please bear with me.
Thanks.

request sent. ive been trying to make a tasker script and failing miserably!
PokeAimer has been reuploaded on Play Store and is currently under re-verification by Google. If everything works out correctly we should have alpha testing sessions up and running in a few hours. If it fails verification again I will probably have to release it in the XDA Market or XDA Labs I guess.
Thanks for your support.
Good news guys!! Google has approved PokeAimer. Albeit with a few cuts. Which hardly matters really.
Alpha Testing Session is now live. To join follow the link below and tap on Become a Tester and download PokeAimer. Currently it'll give you a 2 hour Window of Free Testing.
It's in the Alpha stage so expect it to not work perfectly on some devices. Either way I would like to see some sort of feedback from each one of you. Over here or in the GPlus Community.
P.S. Make sure you Grant Root Permissions and Turn AR Mode off in game. You also need to be a member of community mentioned in the first post in order to test.

@Catalyst06 item not found. I'm a member in the community and joined as a tester. :/
Edit: Nevermind, I had to search it myself. When you click the become a tester link and the link below says download from play store it comes back item not found though. Will test now.
Edit2: Virtual touchscreen creation failed. Nexus 6P 6.0.1.

Use SELinux Changer to change SELinux to Permissive. Or use Terminal Emulator and Type setenforce 0.
Official support for Marshmallow will arrive soon. Meanwhile this workaround would do.
Command not found. That's weird. Tried again after su command and still doesn't let me change it.

I actually tried that first. It pops up saying that the device isn't rooted or the Superuser app doesn't allow this app root privileges, even though it does. Confirmed in SuperSU settings. Weird since both my phones are rooted the same way.
Good news, however! I tried on my Nexus 5 (2013). Enabled permissive, granted PokeAimer root and enabled it. Turned AR off in GO and it works. Just caught 7 Pokemon with a simple flick of the phone without missing 1 time.

Amazing. The app is only going to get better.
It'll be great if you could post your initial review in the G+ Community. Would help me keep all reactions in one place.
v 0.0.2 is now live on Play Store. This update includes a fix for the glitchy Pokeball bug and should be a lot more stable. To try, please uninstall v 0.0.1 and install the new version from Play Store.
Note : Users on Marshmallow use SELinux Mode Changer to set SELinux to Permissive. Official Support for Marshmallow coming soon.
P.S. Make sure you Grant Root Permissions and Turn AR Mode off in game.
