It's possible. If you can get into recovery then you can install a custom ROM then your boot problem is solved

GT-5113 Only boots into recovery

Installed CWM 6.0.1.0 and rooted this device then installed a 10.1 nightly, wiped dalvik and all but now device boots straight into recovery after samsung 10.1 logo.. I've already tried flashing back to the stock rom using Odin, flash went fine but now it just boots into stock recovery instead of CWM.. also a bit of weirdness to it.. when i click on reboot system it just turns the device off instead of "rebooting", i've tried wiping everything and nothing seems to work.. was for sure the stock rom from sammobile would do the trick but nope ... any suggestions? Thanks.
Perhaps flashing v6.0.3.3 might work.

It means flash the BOOT file as BOOTLOADER in Odin. Here are the steps I did, in detail.
Make sure you have copied the superuser.zip to your SDcard before you begin.
- Flash the recovery as PDA (I unchecked the autoboot, just to keep everything in control)
- Remove data cable
- Remove battery for a few seconds and put it back
- Go in download mode again, and flash the BOOT file as BOOTLOADER (This time, checked the autoboot option)
- Phone starts in CWM recovery
- Flash the SU
In case you're still having trouble, go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ and search for s7262, download the kernel for YOUR COUNTRY and flash it as PDA through Odin. Then follow the above steps.
Don't forget to thank the guy

Ok so now that we've installed SU, how can we get the old bootloader back? Cu's the phone is just going into recovery now and not booting.
So I'm back on the original kernel. Which doesn't have SU

No progress. The screen goes white as soon as the samsung boot sound starts. Any chance you have a copy of the original bootloader? We can flash that after installing SU.

Actually I think it's the bootloader. Just worked fine the first time.. After second boot I'm getting white screen (same thing that used to come previously when I flashed recovery). Let's see if this gets fixed, otherwise this whole operation would just die.
Lesson here is: Cheaper android phones are crap . I'm using an HTC amaze, and it was one hell of a task to root it! But at least it responded to logic.

To be completely honest I realy don't have a clue what I was doing lol but anyhow It boots up with red letters up top saying custom binary blocked by frp lock what's can i do to fix it I'm new to all this thanks in advance
What you have done is after changing your recovery you have gone to developer options and unticked OEM unlocking after that you have rebooted. To fix this flash lollipop/marshmallow pda file through odin.

I think I bricked my phone.
Same thing happened to me. My little daughter unticked OEM unlock i didn't know. Now phone is not booting. Flashing MM firmware by odin fails. Smart switch says unsupported mobile. Any help will be helpful.
This work to me, in my galaxy sm-j710mn , only follow the steps and flash the recovery
I unbricked mine when i did that by reflashing back to stock firmware. Just have to leave the oem unlock tab alone after your done rooting or have twrp.

Try flashing with a different version of odin. If nothing happens try a different computer or reinstalled samsung drivers and restart.

But a dont know, where a found it, i am lost in this stock roms
EDIT:
Bootloader I have unlocked if it unlocks on the phone in the developer options section and tick the OEM, so I have it right.
I managed to install the TWRP Recovery, where everything worked, I also flashed superSU and after the restart, my phone either stops on the introductory samsung logo (without animation), or starts booting, but it pops out to me, that recovery has failed, the device can not be restarted. The integrity check failed. You must reset the default device settings. This will erase all your data. And completely down in the middle of the screen was displayed the reset dialog, when I clicked on it, the phone went into restart stay on the opening logo (samsung galaxy s8 +) and nothing goes wrong. Twrp can not be reached after the combination of buttons to enter the recovery.
So I'm back at zero again
