Alright. So I've experienced this problem twice and the first time it happened was right after I backed up my rom in TWRP so I restored my backup, turned off the password and kept it that way for a day before turning it (the password) back on.
This time I hadn't backed up my phone since then and I got locked out again. I erased the backup, backed up the locked out rom and reset my phone. Now, I've got apps like kik and steam along with my texting app on that backup and I don't want to loose any of the data. Is there anyway I can bypass this message? I've got twrp, root access and xposed framework if that is required.
Also note that I DO know my backup password along with my Google account info and it shows it as incorrect, so please don't tell me to enter my backup password or my Google account! [emoji4]
Please help Thanks!

I forgot my password

I forgot my password
is there any way to remove it? im on android 4.0.4 . I really dont want to delete everything
What password did you forget? The lockscreen's?
Do you have backups of any kind?
If you have backed up your data with titanium or an equivalent than you can just reflash the ROM.
If you want system data you can use the Aroma file manager or TWRP file manager if you have to pull that out.
sent from me
Thanks for the info but i decided to wipe everything
I guess im going to try a couple of roms to see which one I like

WOW. Giving a lot of thought before creating a post that you solved yourself by doing exactly the opposite of what you create the post for lends towards:

Google Store stalls on "Loading "

Hi people.
I am experiencing the following problems (screenshots below)
It starts like showing the "Loading" message for a lot of time:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then it Changes to something like this:
Obviously I can not connect...
I tried to delete the cache of every google app (gmail etc) but my credentials come again.....
In my other androids it works OK so I dont think it's Google servers.
Any ideas?

I even removed all google accounts and tried to log in again
It give a message:
"Can't establish a reliable connection to the server.
This could be a temporary problem or your android device may not be provisioned for data services."
Any ideas people?
I performed a factory reset and the problem still goes
I am wondering why
I suspect this is a Google problem and not mine.....
Even though so many have this problem, NOBODY in the internet manged to give a solution.......
It is so dark.....
I am pissed off because of the time I have spend on this **** .... one whole day and still on....
Look at this guys...

[OPO]Ccleaner Not Recognizing Root

I recently flashed the latest Sultan ROM with Open GApps and SuperSU 2.76, and I noticed that CCleaner does not recognize root.
I really like using it for disabling apps on my phone and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to get it to recognize root.
I have tried clearing the apps data and reinstalling it.

Same problem on OnePlus 2 also rooted with busybox.

Cannot login to Starbucks account

For the last month I have been unable to log into my Starbucks account with the app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.starbucks.mobilecard
I get several different displays when I try. Sometimes an ssl error, other times non-functional
accept input and show password buttons. Screenshots:

I have tried a full factory reset, clearing cache from recovery, running earlier versions, changing
default browser (which seems to be involved with the strange login the app uses), clearing
and disabling stored passwords.
I am using a stock Idol 3, 5.5 in., 6045I. Not rooted, latest updates. No problems with other apps.
I was able to login with this phone with Android 6.0.1. Whatever caused the problem did not start
with the update.
I have no problem logging in with other phones, included two running Android 6 and one
running Android 4.
Any suggestions? Is anyone using the Starbucks app with a 6045I?
Send log to app developers, pls. U can post there too.

I just got my phone back from warranty, so it's freshly reset and this popped up randomly. Well I must have done something that summoned it but I'm not sure. I was just playing COC and tapping the screen as usual then this. Anyone know. Bringing up recent apps showed nothing.

You sure it's not an app you installed. There are some apps that can have that.
Assuming it's not a 3rd part app, can you check the firmware/android version of your phone?
