Hey guys, this is my first time ever trying something like this, and I already figured most of it out, but I have a little issue, I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 and I want to update the android version to atleast 4.1.2 Jelly Bean but I can't seem to get it working, every time I install the new update through Odin it would be stuck in a boot loop(when i download the old version 4.0.3 it works straight away), but I decided to try Cyanogenmod 11, I can't get that working aswell, I've tried wiping data,cache,dalvik cache. First I installed the Cyanogenmod ROM and then Google Apps, I get stuck on the cyanogen boot(I've waited for like 30 minutes, nothing).. Please, help.

I somehow stumbled my through rooting my stock tab using odin. failed to install a few Roms for Jellybean, but eventually manager to get AOKP build 38 (android 4.04) running. Like an idiot though, the Gapps file was a newer one intended for Jellybean Rom. It went on, however I now get the 'Unfortunately, Andoid Keyboard has stopped' message. I have looked around and tried the force stop and clear cache, but sadly no fix.
what do I do now? can I just install a more recent ROM over the top?
can i install a rom thats not AOKP now I have AOKP on there?
I basically want Jellybean on my tab rather than ICS.
Can you provide me a link to the Rom and relevant Gapps Jellybean, and is it the just the same process as the initial ones I put on?
OR, can I just put an older version of Gapps on and it will resolve my issue. (I want jellybean but can live with ICS if working properly)?
Sorry for the volume of questions... I am just at a loss of what to do as I dont know what I can and cant do.
For the record I dont have Nandroid or bootstrap on here. they were not mentioned in the tutorial and I had already cleared everything off my tab so wasnt worried about losing anything on it.

As I sit here now I managed to resolve both issues. I just managed to locate and flash the correct Gapps. reset/wipe, del cache, delete dalvik cache, run akop and run replaced Gapps and hey presto.. ICS running smoothly on my GT7 P1000. Runs snapseed, chrome browser just fine. All my social apps are far better in pics than gingerbread. Loving it. Many hours lost on the steep learning curve.
One question remains.. can I flash a from on here by a different mod? Cost I have seen jellybean for the P1000. Don't know whether to quit while I'm ahead, or now I'm getting the gist, mod to paranoid androids jellybean.

Im sorry im new to this site so im not familliar with anything but the main reason im here is because i tried installing cyanongenmod 11 on my verizon galaxy s4 and im having problem so i decide to go for help i tried looking up if anyone on this sit had the same problem but could not find one. So i recently tried installing cyanongenmod 11 on my s4.I messed up and every time i go into recovery mode now it says "system software not authorized by verizon wireless", the problem is i think i lost my recovery i dont know what i could do my phone works perfectly fine but did i lose my recovery or what happened?Also is there any way i can download cyanongenmod 11 on my verizon s4 ill leave the full specs.

I just recently got my samsung galaxy tab 2 5110 with CM10 10.1.3 RC2, yesterday, i updated it with the latest nightly version of CM11 something like that cm-11.20141111_nighlty.zip and also with latest Gapps for CM11 found on cyanogenmod website. I used the latest recovery Philz touch CWM recovery (6.0.5.1).
Aftering upgrading the tab frequently shows the different gapps stop errors and sometime android process stop errors and getting stuck & restart frequently whenever i use it for some time.
Please anyone help me in this as im the newbie and its my first android device.
Maybe you should have had a stock tab for a while, and figured out all the do's & don'ts before you got involved with CM.
Full wipe.
Flash complete CM11 and gapps, that should clear up the problem.

Hi guys, i spent my whole day trying to get Android instead of bada on my samsung galaxy wave s8500...None of the rom proposed worked, whether my phone just go crazy and i have to put it in DL mode to flash it again or just fail to install the rom.
The CarbonRom was the closest to success (it even wrote "success" when i installed it and boot correctly) but instead of landing on the actuel ROM i get the "Encryption unsuccessful"...What should i do ? why doesn't any ROM work for me ? i am without a doubt missing something here...

Solved, phone needed a proper re-flashing of Bada 2.0 before trying any ROM other than CarbonROM.
Good morning guys, sorry about the english. So, a while back I installed the 12.1 cm in my GT I9515L (Galaxy S4 VE), the rom was running normally, but i had some problems in some applications that were not compatible with the version BOJ1 (Lollipop). I performed the downgrade of the same for AJN1 (KitKat) to reinstall the CyanogenMod above, the problem is that whenever I go into recovery mode, time to flash the GAPPS, one error appears saying that the version isn't compatible. I performed the test of reset the machine without installing any version of gapps, and the cell was automatically updated to version Lollipop. I would like to ask for your help because I am unable to keep KitKat version in Cyano. I think that it's a litte mine mistake on wipes or in version of cyano, but I googled a lot and found nothing. Thank you guys.
