Xposed 6.0.1 bootloop - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note5

Ok, so im running the MOAR 4.1 rom and have been trying to flash the latest Arm64 zip of Xposed and it always puts me into a bootloop. Ive tried several attempts including redownloading the file thinking it might have been corrupt but still just bootloops until I recover my rom. Anyone have any luck getting it to work?

I was able to flash version 86 of wanam custom just fine on MOAR 4.1. Just make sure u wipe cache and dalvik cache before flashing and after.

Ill recheck everything and try again.

So i figured out the problem. The zip file was signed as the version 86 but after unpacking it I found that it was 85. All fixed thanks again.

Were you able to solve the bootloop? I get stuck on boot up when flashed v86 arm64 rovo89 xposed! Any solution, would you mind sharing how you got it working? Thanks.

Does ANYONE READ? XPOSED DOES NOT WORK ON STOCK/STOCK BASED SAMSUNG ROMS! Seriously 30 seconds of reading in the Xposed OP would save your hours of flashing and rebooting.
Google: Xposed for TouchWiz by Wanam
Use that version. It boots, because it's made for TouchWiz.

I'm on moar rom "custom rom" and what understood from Kstambaugh09 comment is that he was able to get rovo89 xposed working.

The only xposed I have got to work is wanam's custom build, not others. Google wanam custom build xposed

Wanams build is the only one that I was able to get to work as well. The signature was wrong on the download and I had to update it from 85 to 86 for it to work.

Ok thanks here's the link for anyone looking for it http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960

Noobz. Lulz. 1st Rule of XDA. Read. 2nd Rule. Search.
I can't be too hard on ya tho, we were all noobz once. I happened to have the greatest phone in history to learn on tho. The Kyocera/Sanyo Zio. Had to use ADB and fastboot on it, had CWM Recovery. It's buried way down in the Legacy threads now. LoL, okay enough with the trip down memory lane.
Seriously tho, reading the OP is vital. You could still brick your device trying to flash stuff you shouldn't be. It'd also save threads like this from being made.
I ran MOAR for 2 years on the S3, where it was born. Well aware it's a "custom rom". It's also stock based TouchWiz. Regular Xposed is never going to work on it, unless Wanam and rovo get together and merge it.
Have fun guys. Read. Read. Read. Then read it again.

Ive been doing the whole rooting thing since the HTC Thunderbolt. The issue I had was someone had mad a zip but the signature was wrong so it looked like the 86 but was 85. Didnt know until i took the package apart.

Works just fine for me. . .
Running a stripped down version of 9.16.9 DST with just the radio from the latest OTA.
Xposed 2.1.4
Using the Master Key dual fix and Android Tuner modules.
Most parts of FemBlack's status bar module also worked without a problem.
Working great for me, just followed the installation procedure.
Xprivacy works great.

No lag here.
Does the XPOSED Installer require an unlocked bootloader. Since the exploit was fixed thats a problem for everyone who wants this :/
EDIT: It does work, I ran some test and everything pulls in fine. Also it should since it dosent modify behind the scenes just the front you see.
Can't get it to work on my xt925.
Tried lot of stuff, but nothing worked.
I'm rooted, unlocked and on Stock Rom.
Am i doing anything wrong or is there any way to get it working on odexed Stock Rom?
I havent tried it on my xt926, but works on my s3, tf700t and note 2. It really just depends on the mod. Some are made just for samsung, htc, etc... and then there are a few for any phone.
Some mods work on cm10.1, just trial and error

I don't think that mod works unfortunately. Wanam Xposed is used for a few different devices I'm pretty sure, I've just noticed (and read from other users) that some of the mods work.
Thanx bro for your support, I got also another concern, the chrome browser is not working too, also when I go to setting under call setting additional selling it gives me a msg that sim error, those are the two problems I'm facing now with 12.02 and I used to get the same problem with 12.01, so I tried after that to test alliance rom, chrome there is working fine but the call sim error is the same so is it from the modem, and what about the chrome browser as I reflashed TGP again

Is it a I9305 Kernel or I9300 ? If it's a I9300 don't flash it.
Just because it says it supports 4.3 modems doesnt mean it will support a 4.3 ROM. Stick with Boeffla for now.

[Q] Installing Xposed Framework - with Wanam Xposed.

I'd like to try out Xposed Framework with Wanam Xposed.
I'm currently on NE1 -stock/official - towelrooted /SuperSU & busybox. I've been checking out the XDA forums, and trying to keep up on some of the different topics for info. Now I've just reached the fork in the road, trying to decide which method would be best for maintaining performance and having the least amount of bugs (if any). So my question is, a) do I just install the Xposed framework and Wanam xposed or b) should I install safestrap - create a ROM slot with Xposed framework - Wanam Xposed?
Any suggestions
will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

You should just install the Xposed framework and Wanam xposed module if you're locked BL and rooted. No need for safestrap.

Just be aware Wanam does cause issues for some users. I've had to uninstall it more times than I've had to install it. I eventually gave up with it. And some Xposed modules may cause issues with installed apps. Just be aware

Yes my BL is locked. I was leaning towards that direction for the fact it would be easier, thanks for confirming that.
I can always uninstall if it doesn't work out.

Thanks for the info.
My device has always been stock until recently. I decided to try out modding after reading some of the different posts, that this is probably the last update for these phones, with the exception of some small updates.
I saw the video on Wanam Xposed, and how it works well for TW, thought to give something different a try.
Thanks again, this was my first post.

[ROM] Fully working AOSP 6.0 for grouper

finished this one 4am this morning, and fell asleep before I could post, so here you go:
Writeup, details, etc all here:
http://dmitry.gr/index.php?r=06. Thoughts&proj=04. Android M on Grouper
What works: selinux, camera, NFC, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth
No dirty patches in /platform, no dirty hacks
Lots of cool hacks though. Read up
This is for WiFi devices only (for now)
use latest public bootloader
and i suggest a data wipe - i do not support any conflicts with existing data - selinux policies changed in ways that might affect /data, so having things in /data can affect things like GPS adversely
Awesome! Do we need to update radio/bootloader first?

Is the 'Doze' functionality of Marshmallow working?
It is for me
what Gapps did you end up using? I've flashed multiple packages and it all leads to Setup Wizard problems
Yeah, rom flash works, but stuck with no playstore. Also tried flashing supersu and got a bootloop. Also tried to install an apk from Explorer and wouldn't install. I know this is real really so I'm sure things will get added. But what's here feels much faster and smooth! 6 on a 7, wow!
Edit: I downloaded these "mini" and they seem to be installing OK. http://androiding.how/android-6-0-marshmallow-gapps/
Got me to set up screen!

After fighting a bit, the ROM started and I'm restoring my apps from playstore, when I chose the restore point in the wizard, this failed, then select "New device" to continue, anyway restoration began. After finishing the wizard i modified play services permissions to stop FCs.
These were my steps:
1 Wipe Data/System/Cache/Dalvik
2 Flash ROM
3 Flash BETA-SuperSU-v2.52
4 Flash benzo-gapps-M-20151011-signed-chroma-r3
5 Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik
6 Reboot
Seriously, this is quick and brilliant work. Congrats to all of you who put in the hours and stress. This.....is why I only use Nexus devices. Your efforts are truly appreciated. Best of luck as you continue to further this project.

I am not one of them people who make ROMs all the time. I just wanted to do all the actually hard work of the port and offer specific directions to them, so they can support M on this crop of nexus devices
I'm not getting su 2.52 to boot. Everything w/o root is great!

M on N7
Happy to see that people still supports and share their work for the N7 - big thanks :good:
Now it's exciting to see if the N7 will be able to handle Android M for more than a day or two before slowing down :fingers-crossed:
I'll try this out
How does this differ from [WIP][ROM][6.0] Nexus 7 Marshmallow - Android 6.0?
