Is anyone else having issues with Xposed Installer blocking root requests from apps? Took me a while to figure out it was the cause, but after installing Xposed, updating framework, then soft rebooting to get modules to function properly, no new apps can request root access and they just freeze up where the root access notification would normally appear. If it's an app that has previously been granted root access, there are no issues, it runs just fine, only affects first-time root requests. If I do a full reboot then the requests go through normally, but then I have to Install/Update in Xposed and do a soft reboot to reactivate my modules (only use GravityBox and NFC LockScreenOff Enabler).
You've got to uninstall and reinstall the earlier version of xposed framework. For some reason the update doesn't work.

Okay these are the steps to get the notifications
1.- Rooted Device
2.- Install Greenify, Greenify Pro and Xposed Framework
3.- Check greenify module in Xposed Framework
4.- Reboot
5.- Once installed all, go to: Greenify - Setting - Experimental features and check the 1st, 2nd, 3th and 4th option
6.- Thats all i hope that i helped in something

Click to collapse
to unistall xposed you should first go to xposed /framework and click uninstall.. then reboot.. then clear xposed data and uninstall xposed app..
and if you know which module gave problem, just untick that module in xposed/modules, reboot and uninstall that module (with clear data).
If you have not done so reinstall what you have unistalled and do as above.. see if it works..
Hi,
I'm trying to inject an Xposed module in a rooted phone with SuperSu configured as "disabled" .
I could download and install Xposed and the corresponding modules with SuperSu "enabled", but I'm wondering if the Xposed modules will actually work when SuperSu is in "disabled" mode.
Specifically, could I inject an Xposed module in a specific app(I.E. angrybird and such) when SuperSu is disabled?(assuming I already downloaded and installed the Xposed module when SuperSu is enabled)
Also, if it is not possible, is there any alternative I can use to dynamically inject code into a running app?
Thanks!
Anyone?
Edit : Nevermind. I tried it and it works!
So I can load install Xposed modules and have my phone unrooted afterwards.
Thanks!

hi
Do I need to install module to change sms background? My exposed installer is not similar on the exposed installer in the video, my exposed installer is having DOWNLOAD SECTION what is the uses of that section?
with the xposed installer, you have to install the xposed framework, to do this you have to open the xposed installer app and press the first option "Framework" (then press "ok" for the warning) and then press "install/update" and then reboot the device after the installation is done. (you can check if you done it correctly on top of the tab where you installed the framework, there should be 2 green version numbers under "actif")
After installing the xposed framework, install the xbackground app. If it's installed, you will receive a notification that the module is not activated yet. Press that notification and it will bring you in the "modules" section of the xposed installer. There activate the xbackground module by checking the box. Then again reboot, and the module will be activated.
then you can just open the module and make the changes
edit: the download section is to search for modules, you can use this section to search for xbackground module so you're sure you have the latest version.
hi
Ok, but can I customise sms, menu etc. Without downloading a module? The exposed installer in the video is not similar on my exposed installer, can you give me the apk of the exposed installer in the video? By the way can I ger your email add? I will contact you later
Download this xposed installer to install the newest xposed framework http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
Indeed the layout of the installer is a bit different from the one in the youtube video, but it does the same.
this is a video with probably the same layout as yours with info on how to install xposed framework: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75y8fuAUxQI
you can do it without xposed for sms but then you have to download another messenger app. And if you want to do it for settings and other system apps you will have to theme your settings.apk.. so it's A LOT easier to just use the xposed module
send me privé message on xda instead of e-mail. I rather not place my e-mail adress all over the internet
hi
Sir I already installed the exposed installer and xbackground, I did everything that you said, Does it require wifi or data connection on doing customising? When I pick an image on galery for background there is no image on the screen, I don't know why, My phone model is Lenovo S720,
Ok wait I will download it, I will contact you after later,
hi
You mean I need to download module for sms, menu and etc. What is the name of the I module for sms, menu and setting background can you give me the name of it,
I think my phone is not supported of exposed and xbackground, but I will try,
Hi,
I just tried it myself to screenrecord the steps, but it doesn't work on my phone either I guess it just doesn't support mediatek
Annyway, what sms app are you currently using? The stock one like the picture in attachment?
and what android version are you on?
you can change sms background but changing settings background won't work if you can't theme.
oh somthing just comes in my mind.
You can also use HKTheme Manager xposed module: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/xposed-tool-hkthememanager-v7-1-change-t2602257
I think you won't be able to use the image you want yourself using this module, but you can apply themes that change the collour of settings, sms, etc.
