Xposed Installer/Root Issues - Droid Ultra Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is anyone else having issues with Xposed Installer blocking root requests from apps? Took me a while to figure out it was the cause, but after installing Xposed, updating framework, then soft rebooting to get modules to function properly, no new apps can request root access and they just freeze up where the root access notification would normally appear. If it's an app that has previously been granted root access, there are no issues, it runs just fine, only affects first-time root requests. If I do a full reboot then the requests go through normally, but then I have to Install/Update in Xposed and do a soft reboot to reactivate my modules (only use GravityBox and NFC LockScreenOff Enabler).

You've got to uninstall and reinstall the earlier version of xposed framework. For some reason the update doesn't work.

[Q] need help for xposed not working

I have installed the xposed installer for my rooted android KK version 4.4.2
i tried to install the things which are available in "downloads". I installed them, checked them and then reboot my device. however, after reboot, the installed apps cannot work. For example, the gravitybox, keep showing exiting. I don't really know what is happenning. The only apps which can run normally is greenify. Others apps such as gravitybox, snapchat colour are not working. Please help!!! The logs there showed the file doesn't exist. How to fix this?

[List] Apps that break android pay

I have been trying to find a way to keep root and Android pay. Some apps, while they are granted root privileges, break android pay.
I don't have a large list. But as of now, the apps cause my device to fail the SafetyNet check are:
Titanium Backup
Root explorer
Ex kernel manager
It seems that it only breaks pay when these apps are actively using root. "Killing" the apps send to make my device pass the check.
As people comment I'll update the list.
I'm using EX Kernel Manager with systemless root, and Android Pay still works for me.
EXkernel manager doesn't break it.
Greenify definitely breaks it.
adaway breaks it unless you flash the systemless hosts zip file prior to installing/applying it
root features of nova launcher don't break it
wakelock detector does not break it
Using Titanium backup, Root explorer, ex kernel mngr, and adaway 3.01 I think no different install methods, clean install yesterday. First time using systemless root. AP worked today at Walgreen's.

Same.
Apps don't break Android Pay, the method on how you root does.

I'm also using Greenify and Adaway. Neither has broken Android Pay.
I'm using Titanium Backup, EX Kernel Manager, Root Explorer, and AdAway as well. Android Pay works fine.
Successfully using all those apps, including Greenify (missing the xposed module though). Not a problem with AP, have used it about 4 times in the past week.
Quick update to all. I've noticed that when some of my apps are open, they cause the "SafetyNet helper" to fail. That's why I say it "breaks" it.
AP till works for me. But it can be spotty if I just opened a root app
Must be a really long line and you're backing up apps, searching for a file, or changing your color profile while waiting to tap.
Edit: OK I had AP fail last night when I unlocked my phone eBay was opened up. Apparently I just locked my phone. closed out eBay and chrome popped up from my last tab. Got to my home screen and AP was good to go.

App "PhotoTAN Raiffeisen Schweiz" on rooted devices

If you don't know what the app "PhotoTAN Raiffeisen Schweiz" than this is probably not interesting for you.
I'm just writing this to confirm that the aforementioned app can be run on rooted devices. First I tried several of the root hiding apps in the market, but for all I tried, the app still detected root and deleted the credentials.
The next thing I tried was suhide which left my Tab S2 (T810, 6.0.1, rooted) in a boot loop.
I ended up trying Xposed with RootCloak (Xposed Guide for S7: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039). Installing Xposed using FlashFire didn't work for me, so I copied the zip to the external sd and installed using TWRP. In Xposed I installed RootCloak and added the app to the apps root should be hidden from.
After a restart, I can now use the app without an issue and I can also backup/restore the credentials using TitaniumBackup.
I hope, this helps someone and I hope the devs of the app don't read this and fix the app.
Using Titanium Backup I also detached the app from the market, so I'll not get automatic updates.

Xposed Root Access

Hi..I had been using Xposed framework for a long time and kind of feel my phone life less without it..But after switching my phones there is no root in my OnePlus 3t..I don't want to root my new phone but can I give root access to that particular app using PC or any app.kindly help.Thanx in advance.
Technically Xposed Framework doesn't need root access but some of its module does need it....the only time Xposed (installer) require root access is when you use reboot option in Xposed Installer (which you can reboot you phone by yourself by using the power button)....

Question Reboot issue

When I restart my phone, it reboots immediatly after I swipe and unlock screen. I don't know the reason
Did you install new apps recently?
Lucky patcher, greenify and xposed modules: gravity box, busybox
Now i can use my phone but sometimes that reboot issue still occurs
