first read well all the instructions in sony site..you dont want to brick your phone..

It isn't mentioned in SONY website...
He can keep his sim inside... I unlocked my bootloader with the SIM inside...
And what if he bricks his phone...
It's even easier to unbrick it

It says "it will work for Xperia 2012 lineup" clearly :banghead:
And its tested working on Xperia S

Yes you need to flash FXP kernel to use FXP CM10... and bootloader must be unlocked to do so

[Q] My friend deleted the 'system/app' folder in my Xperia E by mistake

Yesterday my friend deleted that folder.
My device is only rooted and I dont have cwd or anything else
Now its not booting from the loading screen pls help i cant wait i am very tensed
i tries sony flashtool but my bootloader is not unlocked

Or.
Get proper drivers. Get the flashtool (www.flashtool.net) then use the required ftf file from the ftf thread for Xperia E.

These ftf files cannot be opened up
As far as i kno
I tried it on 16.0.b.2.6
But gave me no help
So just give me the backup

Sony signed it's firmware so even if we extract the system-signed.sin and convert it to raw or ext4 we can't still extract the system dump. Sony doesn't want to let his firmware to be leaked. since Mediatek devices can easily port roms from each other when they have the xperia firmware.
I myself is an owner of different mediatek device with the same chipset with xperia C(mt6589).
I already made a Z2 rom based from 16.0.B.2.6 but I can't update it yet because I can't extract the 16.0.B.2.13 firmware because it is signed.
the only thing that can help us and you Xperia C users is to extract your ROM via MTKDroidTools. Have a system dump and upload it here for us rom modder, tweaker and devs.

extract the systemdump from 16.0.B.2.13 via mtkdroidtools. Zip and upload the whole system folder. =')

Note: C3(normal) is: D2533; C3(dual) is D2502, please don't misstake.
only diffrent is ROM.( if you use rom of D2533 for D2502: after finished flash you can see: phone(D2502) only one SIM(signal is available) dual SIM not avaiable.

Yes, you can. You would have to use the Community Flashtool and use the XperiFirm tool inside it to download from another region. I did the same thing a few days ago for the first time so I hope I'll be helpful!

One thing I would recommend is flashing an unbranded firmware from XperiFirm so you don't get any carrier bloatware!

check if the firmware you will flash supports all the bands frequency your carrier use, to have a full signal bar!

I mean, there is only one single sim model so would all firmwares not support the same bands? As all models have the same modem?

well, yeah good to tell you that you can flash any.. but try to find a generic ftf free from bloatware.. those unneeded pre-installed apps.

I had to repair it with Xperia Companion... And Xperia Companion recognized it as F8131 !!!
But now everything is back to normal.

F8332 is dual sim variant you can't flash F8332 rom in your AU device because Japan device is only single sim variant, you can try F8331 firmware

at the moment, no. the flashing will fail at a specific partition and it will brick the phone.

yes u can flash xz au with global firmware
iam xz au too and flash oreo firmware global for guide you can search on YouTube flash xperia x au with firmware global
