yes just buy a screen off ebay and replace it. i did it last week. there are many tutorials online

Same here. Screen bought on ebay (~20) and replaced by me, it's definitely not simple but neither impossible...

~20€. They sent me: digitizer touch screen+LCD display+ 2 opening tools.
I replaced the screen by myself following a video tutorial found on Youtube that shows how to dismount the diamond (but not how to replace the screen). The only problem I encountered is that lcd and touch have both a 4 pin connector that must be solderer together, so you must be able to do that (and I wasn't ).
I'm a new user so the forum doesn't allow me to post external link.. anyway you can find some screen easily on ebay.
P.S. now my diamond works like a charm!

the lcd and digitizer come seperated and no instructions are included.
i ordered and replaced both last week.
i wanted to replace only the digitizer but when i opened the devide they were glued together and had soldered flex cables.
i ended up replacing both lcd and digitizer and soldering the flex cables.
works like a charm.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone would be able to help me with my question/problem. I'm kind of new to this site, so please excuse me if I seem noobish. I tried looking everywhere in the forums for something similar to my predicament, but I didn't find anything. Either that, or I didn't look very well.
Anyways, I'll try to be as brief as possible. I bought a broken Samsung Galaxy S2 with a cracked screen and broken digitizer for $100. My plan was to swap out everything with replacement parts, but when I took it apart to check the model number (because I noticed some differences from my i9100) I found out that it was the Korean-type S2. The model number is SHW-M250S. I looked everywhere on Ebay and Amazon for the lcd screen and digitizer for this exact model, and nothing came up except the regular i9100 lcd+digitizer replacements. I did check on Amazon, and the closest thing I was able to find for the shw-m250s model are these items that are in the link below. Other than the lcd screen and digitizer, it also comes with a brand new housing and other parts I don't need. Which is just making it more expensive. Link below:

My question is, can I use a regular i9100 lcd screen and digitizer replacement part for my SHW-M250S model, or at least use the (SHW-M250L) model part that I found on Amazon? The SHW-M250L parts look very similar to the one that I have. (That "L" could be a typo) If not, can someone send me a link to a site or place where I can buy ONLY the lcd screen and digitizer part for my exact model?

hello, i recently cracked my z3's screen digitizer, and i intend to replace the whole screen assembly, since replacing the digitizer only sounds like an extremely hard task.
i have gone through aliexpress, amazon/ebay us.uk sites, but i can't find a trustworthy OEM seller, they're all either aftermarket refurbished or completely defective fake .
so can anyone please tell me from where can i order online to get an OEM parts for my phone ? getting local repair is out of the question, they want to charge me 300$ and sony authorized re seller wants 350$....

There are no original screen replacements available but the generic ones does just fine.

i too am rocking a OPO which i bought from one my friend in cheap :laugh:
I did it on this days. I bought OPO by 35$ and sandwich of LCD and sensor for 23 $. Everithing is fine.
