Hi
So my S6 won't boot, I have flashed stock via odin and it boots to GS6 logo and then the screen flashes and goes back to the GS6 logo. It is stuck in this loop. I am unable to go into Recovery Mode.
Any help?
What were You doing before flashing it with stock rom? And have You tried flashing it with pit file? Try doing it if You haven't, and if that doesn't work then flash Your device with CP file or BL (not sure which one formats the internal storage etc).
But first try pit file cause it seems really weird that You can't boot into recovery.
Quickly try this first before using pit file method.
Try this:
1. Boot into odin (vol down + home + power)
2. When You are in odin "welcome screen" press vol down to reboot Your device.
3. Now QUICKLY after You pressed vol down start holding vol up + home + power. It should boot into recovery, and KEEP HOLDING those buttons until You see the recovery screen.

If that didn't work reflash twrp and try to do the above method. And if it still won't work then try pit file method.

I solved my own problem, but I'm really disappointed by the lack of response I got from this forum. For any one else who runs into the problem, I apparently had an incompatible recovery image installed. I flashed the TWRP image and now when I hold vol up and power on, it enters the recovery image and I'm able to flash .zip files. I mistakenly thought the combination was vol down and power on, when, in fact, that is apparently supposed to be for the "download" mode.
Hi, I was triying to flash TWRP to my i9103 and Odin, failed and showed "SOS". Since then the phone doesn't boot any longer. I've tried to flash again TWRP and the stock roms hundreds of times with different ODIN versions, and even with a fresh Windows installation and even with jODIN from a Mac. Nothing worked. It always shows "SOS".
Also I even tried the APX method, and started flashing something, but then it failed.
I can access the system recovery, but I can't flash from sdcard, since it only detects the internal storage, not the SD.
Does anyone know a solution?
Thank you in advance.

Are you able to enter into download mode? (power key + home button + vol-)

Yes I'am able, and I retried again the APX method and managed to flash the boot, but Odin continues showing "SOS" after a couple of seconds.
Now the phone screen shows the following message in red:
"Write data size is too big[13\MDM] [Data:12583168(B) -> Part: 614476144(2KB)]
Tegra_Nand_Write: Error to DownloadPartition_odin![err:0xffffffff]"
No matter if I try to flash a full firmware or just CWM.
In the case of full firmware it fails when Odin shows it is flashing the modem part.
Thanks.
So I have TWRP on but it was mistakenly the T-Mobile version TWRP so the touch screen doesn't work and I can't hold down Vol Up+Home+Power to go to Odin. And if I hold Vol Dow+Home+Power and release right when it turns off, it just will boot back into recovery! Is there a way to reboot into download mode or anything on the main screen of TWRP? ADB? Anything?

So now I'm in recovery and I tested Fastboot and ADB to see if anything would work. I got ADB to work, BUT here's the catch. The device is "Offline." Check image below....
Did the same with TWRP... awhile back..But I knew it was for the T-Mobile.
I was checking to see if it work (SCREEN WAS NOT RESPONDING, STUCK IT WAS..ALL i DID WAS VOL+ MENU-B+PWR. AND I FLASH A COPY OF THE FIRMWARE I PICKED FROM SAMSUNG WEB SITE .BACK TO STOCK NO ISSUES)
CF-Auto-Root-zerofltetmo-zerofltetmo-smg920t
WORKED FOR ME..
HOPE YOU FIND A SOLUTION.

How I fixed my Sprint Galaxy S6 stuck in TMobile TWRP boot loop:
I have a lot of my music I made, pictures of my kids and family and did not want to lose my data.
SO, IF YOU VALUE YOUR DATA, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Download Odin 3.10.6 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711451
2.) Download Sprint TWRP Recovery Image:
https://dl.twrp.me/zerofltespr/twrp-2.8.6.0-zerofltespr.img.tar.html
3.) Enter Galaxy S6 Download Mode:
Here are the few simple steps to boot Galaxy S6 download mode:
Turn your Samsung Galaxy S6 off completely...
you could run the battery down by resetting the phone several times,
but you could probably avoid this by trying this following button sequence:
Boot into Galaxy S6 recovery mode by pressing and holding each button, one at a time
(Volume Down>Home >Power) keys at the same time.
Release all three buttons when Samsung Galaxy S6 screen flickers and you see a warning sign.
Press Volume Up to continue booting into to Recovery mode.
4.) Flash the Sprint TWRP Recovery package:
1. Add the tar file to the "AP" section of ODIN.
2. Under Options make sure to ONLY select "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time".
DO NOT select repartition, or anything else!
3. Click start and it will immediately flash and reboot.
4. Click reboot system and you have your phone back to a working condition.

You're welcome! I couldn't imagine anyone else losing their data like I almost did mine.
Which .tar file should i put into AP?. I have a G925I version.
currently it boots ONLY into TWRP.
help please i have tried to root my s7 edge didnt work was saying failed cashe so tried some tips on changing the data file to FAT but phone bat went while it was doing it and now phone loads up the team win recovery screen and freezes on that
twrp stuck on exit: s6 edge
twrp getting stuck when i press reboot or power off..so i cant go back now.whatever i do the screen again open twrp.plz help
update: just download latest version from twrp site and flash it using odin..dont download anyfile from other pages or links. now my problem is solved.
A while back I flashed my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with a SLIM Rom. I used Odin way back to do get what I needed. It has been a while since I loaded a custom rom, but maybe I am missing a step to get CWM loaded so I can load another custom rom. The following are the steps that I go through.
1. Power the device down
2. Boot the device into recovery mode (HOLD Power button + volume down). the screen says it is in ODIN Mode.
3. Plug in the USB
4. Fire up Odin
5. Load 'GT-P3113_ClockworkMod-Recovery_6.0.1.0.tar' in the PDA field
6. Click Start
Then the device boots up normally and then loads like normal. How do I get it to boot CWM in the recovery mode?
Hold power + home + bolume up button to boot into recovery
I've formatted the tab using latest twrp recovery after that I did a restart using recovery and it was taking long to boot back to recovery and force restarted it by holding power button.
Now I can't boot to reocovery or download mode by holding volume down + power button & up + power, it does boot into the usual Galaxy tab logo and then nothing.
If i hold the power button to long it's just boot back again to the tab logo.
When I put the charger to the device it just stuck on the battery logo.
I've also removed the back part and removed battery and tried again, But still same...
Also tried to flash the odin when it's stuck on galaxy logo, odin does recognize the connection but can't flash anything!
Is there any other way to boot back to download mode????
EDIT :
I did removed the back part of the tab to remove battery and try inserting, but still I was not able to boot to download or either recovery mode by hold power + volume buttons.
I think maybe the power button or the volume button has some issue that's why it was not able to boot into recovery/download mode.
After that I've drained the device battery and reconnected it to device charger and it automatically booted into download mode.
And flashed the stock rom then switched to a custom rom!
Problem solved for now, I'll update the thread later!
