[APP][2.1+] Zing YouTube Player an alternative YouTube app for Android

Hi All,
NEW RELEASE: Zing YouTube Player version 0.9.5 has had a major update to improve the look and feel.
The Zing Player is an Android alternative YouTube app that aims to be one of the the best YouTube apps on Android.
The Zing YouTube Player has advanced features compared to the stock Google Player. The ZingPlayer keeps the current playing video window always visible so you can keep watching when searching for something to watch next. (Unlike the original Google YouTube app which stops playing a soon as you search for more videos!)
The Zing YouTube Player has:

Tried it, has some really nice features over the official app. Here's some thoughts on it.
- need to be able to login to your account
- continue playback even when screen is off would be nice
- no exit button to kill the app
- design could be better?

This would be a very useful addition but unfortunately:
It is against the Google YouTube developers terms and conditions.
The new Google YouTube Android Player that I am using automatically stops if it put in the background or covered up by anything.
There are lots of apps that do work in the background and it is a very useful feature so I don't know why they prevent this.

Just press the home button to exit, I put the app totally to sleep when you press the home button.

Please let us rearrange/reorder/sort favorited videos and subscriptions.
What's Google's policies on not allowing alternative YouTube clients to have a login feature? Google bans TubeMate from Play store because the third-party app logins users to their YouTube accounts and stays login, (but I got TubeMate from Amazon AppSore.). On the other hand, Google permits PVSTAR+, which logs in to user accounts to fetch existing playlists but then does not stay log in, (i.e., it logs out immediately after getting the playlists.) Maybe your app can do the same and login to accounts to just fetch existing favorites, playlists, and subscriptions.
Better yet, just have two versions of your app: (1) the Google Play version, which does not have the login feature, and another version that has the login feature. (2) another version that will be on Amazon or elsewhere but NOT Google Play. This version will let users stay login to their YouTube accounts. The Play version will let users know that, if they want to login to YouTube, they should get the Plus/Premium/Pro version from outside Play store at Amazon or elsewhere. That's a way to circumvent Goggle's unfair self-serving terms and conditions.

I am preparing a new version with improved designs and use of colour. The colours are used to indicate what info you are looking at, green for search results, red for the currently playing video and blue for a video which is not currently playing. I hope you find the colours useful when you get use to them.

Sorry there is no login to your account available, but it very quick to add your favourite videos and channels.

There is a way to change the order (but it is not ideal). Choose and press a favourite video and then unfavorite and then favourite the same video again. That video has now moved to the top of the list.

Something related to 64 bit must be the issue. I'll look into it and push a update soon. If possible, can you try it on some other device and report back? Thanks!
EDIT: Are you sure this issue is not related to your device? Please try installing some other .apk file and let me know how it goes.

Hey, i checked out your app, preety cool and hard work out there. But a little problem.
When i click i agree at first screen of disclaimer, it shows a loading screen saying initial setup. And then nothing happens. I am just back to the disclaimer screen. Any thought about this...???

Hey, I have some issues with this app, the Disclaimer Windows dies mit close after tapping on "I agree" I am on 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

I will take a look into it. Thanks for the review Also sort is necessary. we will add it before final release.

Any chance to implement sorting by album artist? I have several albums where the artist of at least one track is "Album Artists feat. XYZ". This way, each of those tracks gets listed as a separate album. By implementing sorting by album artist, such confusion could be avoided.

Yes , it will work for all languages. Basically my algo will keep tracking what type of songs you love to listen and what condition ( like time, weather etc. ) and it will suggest you songs automatically.

Kikat, really? Then why is your target sdk set to 24? You are also using Material Design ressources.

Hello. Thanks for the such a great player app, such a lovely interface. Im OK with the app at all but wanted to say(require) 3 things; first of 'em: If it's possible to make it compatible with RTL(Right to Left layout under the Settings » Developer options of device). Take a look:
Secondly; If possible to leave the notification background color as system's default (or an option to colorize it manually) instead of picking the color from album art(or wherever it picks) to match with System UI(At the moment i use Good Lock UI, the app might not detect it's color though, im aware of this).
Last thing; if possible to make lock screen widget as full screen like app's itself instead of default notification row. If im wrong at any of the points, please correct me. Again thanks a lot for the app, marry christmas. P.s. ID is OffSuit

HI..target sdk means the sdk which I am targeting . Min sdk is the minimum version.

Hey p3, first of all ty for the app!
I have the "unavailable in my country" limitation too, so I installed it from the provided apk.
Can you provide some tips? I got some issues on a stock Pixel 2 XL running Pie AOSP: on screen unlock no changes at all and if something changes I got an image cut (only upper part content is downloaded, pitch black the remaining image part).
Settings used:
Nature/Portrait/High/On/Both/Off/Off

Checked and replied.... Twice. I suppose issues on the board. I dropped you a mail to the address found in the About section of the app.

I have heard on the Play Store listing that it has ads. If so, would you consider doing something like Resplash has done?
No ads, plus tip jar. If you can do both then I'll reconsider.

It has been ads free for 1 month. Now it contains ads but it you can remove ads easily without paying...

Well, it depends fully on your network speed. It takes less than a second for me to change the wallpapers everytime...

My network is pretty fast when i open lock my network monitor shows 4MB/s and its goes to 0 KB/s and it takes time to set the wallpaper. i think its because of zenui

I have mx player installed and it integrates perfectly and I can play the videos from within the app.

This is really really REALLY great. I use youtube-dl and FFMPEG on my desktop a LOT. I have always wanted an app just like this. I immediately paid to remove ads.
Do you think you could give it "Share" functionality, so you can Share a link to PowerTube from another app? For example: on reddit, most videos are DASH (very annoying). If I am in the Reddit app and see a video, I click Share, PowerTube is one of the options, and it will send the URL directly to PowerTube, which will then download it?
Just an idea. Loooooove this app. So excited.

I've dried downloading a Twitch VOD and it's in the queue infinitely, the download isn't happening.
UPD: Spoke too soon, it just took many minutes to begin the download.

Playlist download problem with YouTube Vanced. Doesn't download.
