Description:
Pokemon GO (Ingress) is running while your screen is on and unlocked. It needed for detect steps for hatching eggs and to catch Pokemon!
This app allows you to lock and black out screen without stopping Pokemon GO process. In this case you can put your smartphone in your pocket and walk without fear of unwanted screen presses. Also you can save battery life by putting the screen in a lower power state.
For Amoled screen's devices, this means close to zero battery drain while, in LCD screens, the lowest brightness will help a lot to save battery. For devices with Root access, we have special option, to turn off screen completely.
☆ All options Unlocked for 3 days!
Features:
1. Automatical detect when Pokemon GO (Ingress) app start
2. You can create own list of apps to activate Battery GO Helper
3. Use several methods of locking screen
4. Double click to unlock.
5. Keep the screen always on while the game is in foreground.
6. If you have a compatible device the proximity sensor will turn the screen off, so this is also good for LCD devices.
7. Sound control when the screen is black. Mute or maximise sound
8. Lock the hardware buttons while the app is running!
9. Special option for device with Root access.
How to use:
1. Activate application
2. Launch Pokemon Go (Ingress) or other app from selected list
3. Use any way to block screen, from selected in Settings section
Notes:
Don't press your phone's power button after locking Pokemon GO as that would cause your screen to fully turn off and for Pokemon GO to stop.

An app to make calls and record voice memos without having to unlock the screen or look at it.
After years of shying away from the new OS (WP, android, iOS) because of lack of control, I decided to give up my WM6.5 phone and write an app myself.

Vcustomize lets you make calls, record and listen to voice memo, turn on flash light, and tell time while the phone stays in its cover. Since Android does not allow keypress access to background services, I use proximity sensor to know when the phone is in cover and only then I bring the actual app up. This way it's almost invisible to the user. The sensor can be overridden though.
It's not perfect, but I am working with whatever resources android provides. I use it daily and could not live without it, despite the shortcomings. So I decided others should be able to benefit from it as well. I have tried to make the description as simple as possible, have uploaded a demo video, and made the app free with ad-support.
I hope to add more customizing options if there is enough interest.
Please send feedback and suggestions at [email protected]
I have released version 2.01. It includes many features available on the screen when phone is locked.
----------------------------------------------
2.01
- added flashlight
- added review calls (need directory configured in /sdcard0/vcustomize/callrecordings.txt)
-----------------------------------------------
update history
2.00 - fixed force close problem. App runs without crashing.
- added options on touchscreen to
- make calls (need directory configured in /sdcard0/vcustomize/contacts.txt. format is "name|number")
- record voice memos
- interval shooting ( can be termed spy cam)
- backup files (need backup script configured in /sdcard0/vcustomize/backup.txt. format is "source|destination|delete-source-after-copying-flag")
Going to give this a go thanks for this!
Release version 2.02. I have added timers and alarms (you lose them if phone reboots), full screen postview, and some general stability improvements
It took me two hours to add option to turn off data and wifi when screen is turned off. My android reported 4% battery loss in 6 hours, that's 150 hrs or 6 days of idle time! This was with a bunch of apps and messengers running in background (obviously deprived of data).
The only downside is you will not get any updates from network based apps (gtalk, messenger, email, whatsapp etc) when screen is turned off. but they will get updated in seconds after turning on the screen.

Marketing (scroll down for public beta test and dev info):
Do you get angry when your screen rotates the way you don't want? Do you always have urge to shake your phone to fix the screen orientation? Now you can shake your phone and it will rotate the screen to the correct position with Shake Freeze - a simple screen orientation control & lock app for your phone.
Beta video
How it works
- Turn on the service
- Shake the phone up and down in portrait or landscape mode to lock screen in that position
- Shake the phone towards and away from you to swich between tilt (default auto-rotate) and shake controls
- Use the main app to control display orientation manually
Features
- Shake to rotate screen
- Turn Auto-rotate On/Off in app (switch between tilt and shake controls)
- Customizable sensitivity
- Persistent background service accessible from notification toolbar
- Start on boot, start shaking immediately
- Source code available, no hidden secrets
Missing features
- Force lock. Shake Freeze works ONLY in apps that do not have their preferred orientation (typically text apps like browsers etc)
- Current version doesn't change orientation on tablets (probably with most tablets, only the lock works)
Permission breakdown
- Modify system settings - orientation and auto-rotate are system settings
- Run at startup - optional, the shake detector service can start on boot. Default is OFF!
Free App - Attentionware
The app is completely free with no ads. Source code is available. The only thing I ask is your attention. If you like the app, please rate it, check my Android website, +1 on G+, like my page on Facebook and/or follow my Twitter.

Dev info
Yet another auto-rotate app with a twist (and shake). Made as an excercise, it's my first app for Android that uses more than just display and touchscreen. I've seen better rotation lock apps (but they are paid) and better rotate to do something apps (but they don't have rotation lock). I am releasing the source codes in case you want to check out what the app does on boot etc. I would be extremely grateful if you can comment on the sources too, I am an Android beginner and I definitely have space to improve!

Hello
I tried your beta version and here are the first couple of results:
App description:
I went into the app without watching the video and checking the pics to see if it is intuitive, It took me around 5 minutes to understand. So fair enough. The video is far way more important than the picture itself, because it really shows the purpose of the app comparing it to the the normal behavior. As for the picture I first didn't get it 100% percent but after watching the video and playing with the app it makes sense. But for the little beginners I think there is something missing in it.
UI:
Well there isn't a lot of buttons and setting which is quite good I think less is more in UI/UX which is good in your design. There is only the number of shakes slider, If the settings underneath is an actual int number, maybe display it on the slider instead of waiting for the user to select it and then display it in the main scene, because he will have to click OK to see what he has actually selected 8-9-10ish
Functional Tests
I tried on my stock Gnex running 4.3 (without the latest update from google 2 weeks ago), The app ran smoothly and the sensitivity is good and set to the default middle settings.
I tired also setting the service to start on start-up, set it to landscape, and then restart my phone. Everything went well it even remembered the last setting which was landscape and the service running appeared in the notification.
All in all it is a excellent development and a very good exercise as I have seen on your blog.
As for me I would say that its main usage will be while watching youtube.
Hope it helps
Thanks !
Hi there,
I'm trying of the beta on my Nexus S. Everything works and the sensitivity adjustment gives a good range.
One suggestion I have is to separate the toggle for tilt and shake. If I want to use the shake functions with high sensitivity but not the tilt it is difficult to do so (without having to shake a bunch of times). This way, it is a little bit more versatile in how the user wants to use your app =]
Other than that I think the Ui should be sufficient. The help screen could be separated into a few chunks so user isn't overwhelmed by the amount of text, although the app is relatively intuitive to use.
Nice app!
Hi,
It's a Nice App :good: It's very intuitive and is very easy use it.
Work well in my Cubot One and Iocean X7
If you already use Tasker & Rotation Locker, you can save some memory by using Tasker and the Rotation Locker app plug-in to rotate once shake is detected.
Hello everyone,
with great pleasure I would like to introduce my new app L Lockscreen
L Lock Screen is an app with which you can have on your device the Lock Screen of the new version of Android Lollipop.
With this app you will have access to your notifications right on your lock screen.
You can access the app that you have notified an event directly touching it.
You can go into the details of the notifications by performing a swipe down where you will have the direct actions.
Carrying out a notification Swipe side on the other hand can easily delete it.
Also through a simple swipe you can unlock the phone, make a call or access the camera.
In addition to this there are selectable image as wallpaper of the lock, or you can choose an image from the gallery or directly the one set for the home.

Good effort. I am thinking of buying a ps100 -if I can find one under 30$- to use as an activity tracker and as a heart rate monitor with my galaxy s4 , when I workout.
I was wondering how you capture the data. Do you think there is possibility to invoke a vibration or led light when receiving a call or sms?
Hallo,
With the new Version on Google Play Store, you have all what you want.
Your pulsense become a notify when a call is incoming or when sms/WhatsApp etc have a notification. Look at the play store, there i write all the Features of MyPS.
Can your app be used to update firmware on the ps100?
MyPS can not update firmware. This procedure is only reserved original software. (Guarantee)
Ok. I guess I have to update first and then use your app. Thank you.

Do you plan to make use of gps data from phone? Maybe an exercise mode where it collects both heart rate data and gps in one file and displays basic info on the app while e.g. running (speed, heart rate, time).
If there is anything i can do to help with that please tell me.
Hello.
GPS support, I will not install now. Maybe if I have enough time ...
When you have your smartphone anyway this is a running app is a better choice.
Hi, I have installed your app for my father as it is so much more easy to controll than the Epson app, but if I try to go into the details of the sleep section it gives an error saying unfortunately myps has stopped responding and then the app closes. Any idea what the problem could be? Also I am looking forward to your next update, is there one due? thank you
I've just bought a ps100 and am looking at the sync options with Google Fit. I have two questions.
1. Do I need to keep MyPS open for real time syncing? I assume that when I close the app that syncing stops.
2. I have a Sony Smartwatch 3 which inputs steps into Google Fit. If I enable MyPS step sync will I get duplicate step counts or does Fit merge the data?
Sent from my SM-G920F using XDA-Developers mobile app
To 1. No, it is enough to have the auto download enabled in the settings. When MyPS gets the data from the PS-100, they are then passed to the Google Fit sync manager. This fixes the upload to Google-Fit. In the Android settings, under Account / Google, there is a point for Google-Fit. This must be activated, otherwise no data will be sent to Google Fit.
To 2. Unfortunately, I can not say exactly, as I google fit and the Pulsense no longer use. I think it is not counted twice
Latest Version: v4.0
New: Added iOS14 like access dots for camera and microphone usage.
***Working on support for lower android version devices too. Coming soon***
Now supports iOS14 like access dots too!!
Tired of apps which use GPS, switch on WiFi scanning and drain battery without notice. Toggle Track will notify you if WiFi scanning is switched ON by any app. Now you never need to check if WiFi scanning/ GPS is on, to save your phone's battery life.
I have built this app for the soul purpose to eliminate the annoying battery drain due to WiFi Scanning and GPS, which cannot be known without actually opening the sub menu in location settings. I find it helpful in saving battery. Hope you do too.
No root required.
Features
+ Access dots for camera and microphone added in v4.0
+ Track which apps used GPS. (Coming soon)
+ Free app.
+ Prevent battery drain.
+ Notifies when user left GPS on.
+ Notifies when WiFi scanning is ON.
+ Stats via pie chart, pull down to refresh the chart.
+ Persistent notifications settings also available.
+ Supports phones and Tablets.
+ Oreo v8.0+ supported.
How to use
+ Install/Update the app.
+ Grant permissions if asked.
+ For users running android 6.0+, disable battery optimization.
+ Customize your notification requirement in app settings.
+ You're good to go. Enjoy!

Hi,
Thanks for your app
Il let my phone live a bit too see what it says.
Can it tell which app is (or was) triggering the GPS?
Some feedback
1. Please use a background service instead of the process.
2. Please have the option to display the data as a grid instead of a chart. The counts are not readable.
3. Is it possible to know which app requested for that location?
4. I have battery optimisation disabled for the app. I opened Maps and started navigation, but still didn't get the notification. I was expecting it to alert me instantly.
