so i was reset factoring my phone while charging(15% battery). thats right charger is plugged in.
so my xperia j did turn off like normal. but after 5 mins. i was nervous bcause its not turning on. i tried to open it using power button but its not responding.
so here's what i did now.
-i mount the low battery and the led blinks(ORANGE means its low) for 1 sec then nothing! completely off! yep its like something is trying to stop the phone to use the battery energy
-tried to charge the battery with universal charger.(i did make it charge to its fullest)
-i mount the fully charge battery and the led blinks(GREEN means its fully charge) for 1 sec then nothing! completely off!
what might my phone problem be?!
btw im using.
CM10 ROM

usually when you reboot your phone while charging the phone will stop during boot up into this charging mode, similar to charging your phone when its off. pressing the power button should turn the screen on with the screen showing a battery. Holding down the power button will boot it up normally.
you say that your led is orange? I have used xperia j for years and ive never seen the led notification(top left of phone) orange before.
either way it seems only you have the problem. redownload and reflash the rom/kernel and try again if you really cant fix your phone

oh i mean red color!
If you previously did the vold swap trick to invert internal and external sdcards then your phone is hard bricked and cannot be repaired, even by Sony apparently.
Last night my xperia e c1505 fully discharged, now when I try to charge it the red led starts blinking as usual, but when it reaches the sony logo, it shuts off and the red led starts blinking again.. any ideas as of what could cause this, and how I can fix it?

I think you've got a loose connection with your charger, make sure its plugged in properly it shouldn't turn off unless you unplug your charger or press the power button.

I tried flashing the stock rom again, and it got stuck in flashmode after that. I used flashtool to boot into system, and boom it worked. Thank you anyway for your help. :highfive:
I plugged my charger in my S7 and after ~30 min when i tried to use it,the screen won't turn on.The red LED is on but the phone is...dead.I tried every hard reset/restart possible but nothing happens...no safe mode,my pc doesn't detect it,it's not charging...nothing.The phone acts like it's dead but the red LED is on.... WTF ??? Any sugestions ??? :crying:

Remove charger and let the phone battery die, might take a long time depending on how much it was charged
Try connecting the white MicroUSB > USB adapter that came with the phone to something power hungry to drain it quicker
Power off you device and then wait 10 seconds. After waiting press and hold the Volume Up, Home, and Power buttons at the same time
After the phone vibrates, let go of the Power button, while still holding the other two buttons until Android System Recovery screen appears.
Using the "Volume Down" button, highlight "wipe cache partition" and press the Power button to select it.
After the cache partition is cleared, the Galaxy S7 will reboot automatically. This worked for me ans I hope this will help

It doesn't work.I already tried it...my phone is somehow stuck with the red led on and it does not take any command...i tried every button combination that i know but nothing...

I did try to connect something to the usb adapter but the phone does not output power...

Maybe you're screen Is dead. Replace under warranty.

Red LED should not show when charger is not connected though
Press power button plus volume up and down hold for 5 to 10 sec it will restart ur phone same thing happen with on s6 but not on s7.
I once had to press vol up and down, power and home (that's all buttons) at the same time for ten seconds for the S7 to reboot as it was stuck and seemingly dead. No led on at the time though. But I have disabled the leds in the settings anyway.
UPDATE!
The battery discharged completely(red led was off),first i tried to put it in download mode and IT WORKED!!! But the phone wouldn't turn on because the battery was 0%.I charged it and now it works fine :| I hope this was something software related and not hardware and i hope this will never happen again.Thx for the help guys!

Great
Sounded like it just got stuck, and because you can't take the battery out you have to wait for discharge :good:

Same problem
I have the same issue... Tried to charge my phone with 15% battery and after a few hours it was 8%. Tried to reboot, charge with the phone turned off but nothing was happening ( not charging, not booting up. tried buttons combinations as well ). The led is not showing up on mine because i disabled it from the settings so i'm not sure if it's charging or not. Took the phone to an authorized service on friday so next week i'll be getting a response from them. By the way, the phone is only one week old :crying:

I haved this issue 2 month ago tried everyway is possible to fix it but always failed, I think it's because battery,if. You plug your phone to charger more than 6 hours the led switch to red and if you hold power button you will see a empty battery icon but the problem is come from hardware not software trust me.
The only thing I done is just went to Sony warranty service and gave them my phone and they switched my (unlocked)phone with a locked phone.

i do not have any sony service in my country which is a problem if i won't be able to fix it without open the back cover (i'm avoiding that) and i wish there would be any other handful solution!

Just plug your phone to PC wait a few seconds and it will automatically go to flashmode.

nope, it won't go to flash mode ... the led keeps blinking soft green as i mentioned!

Let me tell you something,when my phone is dead i was able to go into flashmode but no more tried flashing lot of stock ROMs but non of them foxed my problem then i flashed a ftf rom with flashtool and read the log carefully, i saw a eror like that "error battery stats not found", then i plugged my phone to charger an let it stay on charge or a full day, when im unplug it and hold the power button i saw a red led light and a low battery icon in screen,I'm tried lot of things but none of them worked,because as i said it's a hardware problem,phone can't read the battery.

ok, that make sense thou it's a bit different than my case but both has in common... tomorrow i will be obligated to take off the back cover (no more waterproof) and see what's going on... i will keep you updated... it's good that we learn something

because of your green flashing light. normally the light should stay on while charging or, blink 3 times if the battery is empty. but random flashes are a sign for a broken board.

It's electronic. not every device is exact the same and sometimes some parts failure quicker then other parts. maybe you got a lemon device who knows.. (or "monday device" as we say in german hehe).:silly:

If you're lucky and it's battery, then order battery from aliexpress and some stickers for back cover. If u do it right, then waterproof will remain (but it wouldn't risk too much).
If you're not so lucky try to find xz premium with broken screen on eBay and use it as donor for mainboard, as I doubt u will be able to find it cheap or at all.

My Huawei ALE-l21 cannot switch on. It blinks two green lights then 1 red,even when I try to enter safe mode no response. Is it dead dead? Nothing seems to work with it,zero response.

I got the same issue, changed the battery and nothing, by connecting it to the pc and holding volume + and power till the light is gone, once is gone you press power and volume - it should connect to the pc, but i got stuck there, i installed all the drivers and still not working
