I recently purchased this device, but unfortunately only shows connectivity to 2G (Network : Vodafone Uganda) when I have a plan for 4G
The telco says they broadcast TD-LTE on 2600MHz at Band 38
Device specs
LTE Band 1,3,7,8,20(800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz)
Can also pls help me to get my device to work on the network.

I picked up Straight Talk as the phone service and have tried both t-mobile sim card and at&t, but I can not seem to get internet speeds faster than Edge network.
I had reviewed the gsm frequencies and thought that it whould work here in the US. Am I wrong? did I miss something?
Has anyone used this phone and gotten it to work in the united states? if so, what carrier?
Everything else works. MMS, phone, and basic web, but I can not get 3G.

any Lenovo phone users in the US? if so, what service are you using? and are you getting 3G?

I just buy alcatel OT-5020N metroPCS (Factory Unlocked).
This phone connect to 2G netwotk is no problem, but No Service in 3G network 2100MHz.
How to unlocked this phone for using this band according to specification OT-5020N ?

3G is a different technique than LTE.
LTE supported phones have a different modem. So 3G is not supported on you're phone model.

Please help out to get access for 4G LTE for my nexus 5. Airtel is giving it only on band 40 2300Mhz here in Bangalore.
Since my device is D820 which is not having band 40 i am unable to connect with.

Hi,
I am also in the same boat as you. I have seen XDA pages where band 3 can be enabled. But that seems to be not useful for us as Airtel seems to be on band 40.

I bought Xiaomi mi4 64 gb from china last year. To my surprise only 2g network was connected and no 3g and LTE. I don't have much idea about it. I live in India, forget 4g, if there is any method through which I can connect my phone to 3g band I'll be grateful. If someone can explain me how to unlock all 3g bands and that will possibly connect the 3g band of India, it will be of great help. I have already used the phone in 2g network for a year and it's pain in the @ss. I found recently that by unlocking it is possible to use global bands. PLEASE HELP!!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Did you buy TD-LTE version? FDD-LTE is used in most countries.
Most probably YES
Probably Yes. Otherwise the problem of network might not be there.
