EZ Packages Disabler or Packages Disbler Pro - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi,
Both of two programm can only hide and disable app and bloat that on the phone, but can't realy remove them because of no root.
I wonder if it's realy doog to use them, or is just the same as going manyaly into the app and diabled what we don't want?
It's realy working or just cosmetic ?
Wich one do you recommand ?
Thanks

i have package disabler pro (samsung); works great; i imagine both do the same thing, which is completely disable apps and services you dont want.
i have an S7 Active, which can not be rooted, so this was the easiest way to disable all the carrier stuff and facebook i didnt want and will never use.

Working fine.. Using it on my s7 edge with no issues...

They're better than just going into application settings and turning them off. I use both methods, I don't care for a lot of Verizon's apps, and I also wanted to block updates on my phone. You can disable certain apps from running by going into your phone settings but if you want to disable OTA updates or whatever, then using the apps you asked about will work great for that. They do serve a good purpose.

I purchased Package Disabler Pro but looking at the screenshots from EZ Disabler it seems like the latter has descriptions of the services.

ok I will try it.

I use BK Package Disabler, it's better
You can also try it https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kunkunsoft.packagedisabler

Good day.
I used EZ Disabler before i rooted, cause it appears on top the favourite apps. So i could freeze and unfreeze the apps faster.

I just deleted BK disabler because it couldn't activate sdk license. Good thing in all the mess is that they refund your money as soon as u uninstall the app.

BK Disabler still work well on Google Play

Package Disabler Pro works fine

Greenify question

Hey there,
For some bizarre reason Instagram & Facebook do not appear in the list of possible apps to hibernate. Does anyone have an idea of why I cannot add & hibernate these apps?
Many thanks,
Because both are system apps in S6 and you need donate version of greenify
Thanks! Working now with donate version. I should have figured that knowing that they were preinstalled as system apps.
Ty sir!

I'm also using Greenify paid version, but even though I have enabled the system app option, I can't seem to find Chrome in the list. Any idea why?

I think it also needs xposed to let Greenify donated doing this but S6 doesn't has xposed yet.

Yeah, seems like it. Don't know why donation is enough for some system apps, while other system apps also require xposed...
Could have just uninstalled them as system apps and reinstalled through app store boom works.
Donating is always good as well
Whenever I hit to hibernate, it always says there is nothing to hibernate. This was not the case before I factory reset. I can't even tell if greenify is doing anything. I'm not rooted. Any thoughts?

Package disabler ?

So I purchased package disabler and I'm in somewhat understanding how to use it, I was just curious if anyone has a list of what items they disabled. Any ideas would be awesome. Thank you ☺
everything that has T-mobile in it. including pr.tmobile something...I disable the ANT+ stuff, disable knox (might need root for this one). all the email stuff (if you only using Gmail) easy home launcher (if you dont use it) S health crap....stuff that you generally know what it is and dont use just freeze it, if you dont know then google.
Or you can find the thread package disabled they have a script just open it and see

Anyone know whats going on here?

I don't know what I did or what happened but what the hell is this? How did I disable adguard I don't remember disabling anything lol. It better not be Google or Samsung disabling my apps on their own free will.
I have no idea how to fix this and online searching has no answers. I don't even have a package disable installed. Just nova launcher. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck..
you can enable them in playstore, hangouts is always disabled till you enable it in playstore. Who knows why???

Hello. I have received messages like yours sometimes, and they came from Nova Launcher and one of the widgets installed on my main screen. It was a Zooper widget one, that had to open browser when tapping on it, but was not well configured. May be yor issue is the same...

I know bro, not only that a lot of people in a lot of threads I've read said that BK has some more interesting features. I really wanted to get it to work and tried hard but I just could not manage to get a hold of both of the app and the engine to install.

Link to the app in play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ackagedisabler
Note that you'll also need the "BK plugin 2" app to go with it
I'm on ARB7 firmware and have zero problems with BK working as it should. View attachment 4480913

the bk plugin 2 is the problem lol.
if you dont already have it in your app history, it will not allow you to see it in the store.
trust me i tried for hours.
you simply CANNOT gain access to the bk plugin 2 if it's not already in your app history
EDIT: it's possible they reuploaded it, like pdp did. it seems the devs try to stay ahead of the play store by reupping every few days/weeks with minor changes and then google takes it down again.

BK was taken down by the developer due to Samsung. That said the developer provided a work around on their development blog

A bit of work involved but the app works afterwards.

I tried opening both of the APKs direct from that link, but it gave the same error parsing the package.
I downloaded it to my phone, then opened it from there and it worked fine. Followed the instructions and I was able to fully use it.
hi, i formatted my S9+ just when BK Manager and MDM Extension apks were removed from Play Store.
my question is, i have both of these apks files in my storage, will i be able to install them manually and whether the disabler app will still work as it was before? can someone kindly advise?
i have emailed the developer a couple of times asking the same questions, but not getting any response or help and was never my intent to ask for a refund.
File 1. com-kunkunsoft-packagedisabler1515128400
File 2. MDM_Extension_2_Full
as for the time being, is there any other good disabler app that we can use safely? i feel so lost without this app/feature.
thank you.

I followed this but I still can't get it to work. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or maybe it doesn't work anymore? I have recently used adb commands for other apps and they work fine.

The ADB command in the instructions is for a wrong package. You just need to change it to the one in their download link.

I did manage to get this working, but since then I've had a notification pop up on my phone a couple times which makes no sense to me. I'm wondering if this is a side effect of making that app an owner on the phone.
It tells me my phone is a "Managed Device" and that the organization may install software and make changes on the phone without my knowledge or consent.
A) That sounds scary, since I the phone didn't come from an organization.
B) Why is it suddenly popping up and telling me this? It's not asking for permission. It's not even asking me to acknowledge or read it. Just stating it like a fact. It's popped up at least twice over the last 2-3 days.
Any idea what's going on?

It's a response to trying to disable more packages than sammy wants you to. It removes a bunch of features. Sammy's way of trying to get people not to use package disabler.
What I did was disable all I wanted then uninstalled the disabler and it went back to normal with everything still disabled
Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Is there a list of packages that are safe to disable?
Package Disabler for Samsung is back
App Name : Package Disabler Pro+ (Samsung)
Available in google play store.
That's it. It's a one-click solution to deal with bloatwares.
Nice business model. Release app, complain that google removed it, re-release it and ask people to pay for it again.

Package Disabler Pro

Coming from a Note 8 that has a package disabler that will no longer work on new phones. Just wondering if Package Disabler Pro is working on the Note 10. Thanks for any info provided.
I'll be trying App Freezer, worked on my Note 8 using ADB side load. It sucks having to remove all accounts, but it worked when everything else failed over time. Any app that works easily straight from the Play Store, probably won't last long from my experience.
I've just been doing ADB commands to disable/uninstall things here are two links. One is a bash script you can customize/run and the other is an overall guide, both were for the Note9 but still apply.

I tried it as I used it on the Note 8, kept asking for permission over and over. Wouldn't uninstall either, had to do a FDR. Using ADB on the packages that I'm sure of. There is another package disabler that I'm waiting on a reply as to whether it works on the Note 10. It's not in the Play Store, need to pay via PayPal.
https://www.packagedisabler.com/
Try CCSWE App Manager from Play Store
App Freezer works. I wish I had done it on Wednesday when I got the phone, so I wouldn't have to disable all accounts. But I just finished ADB side loading and all is well.
So App Freezer works?? still have to go trough disabling all Google accounts etc
