[Completed] Need ROM (at least boot.img) for Galaxy On5 SM-G550T1 - XDA Assist

I've tried the ROMs for the derivative models of the Galaxy On5, but none of them recognize the camera or any audio equipment.
I suspect it's a lack of kernel drivers, so I'm hoping someone has a boot.img or full ROM that might work with this phone.
I've scoured the web, and I can't find even one copy of the original ROM for the SM-G550T1. The T1 is important. The other variants are incompatible.
If you have a boot.img for a very recent Galaxy device, I'd be happy to take it on the off-chance it'll work well enough to be passable.
Thanks so much!

Hello. If I understand you correctly, you are searching for a Recovery for your device. Unfortunately a quick search turned up no Recovery for your Device. I would advice you to post up i the link below.

Thank you. After doing a lot of digging and a couple weeks I got CMW to work. Seems that my phone is a chopped up version of another.
Glad to hear you got it sorted

[Completed] Removal of RATs

I have a Remote Access Trojan on my android, which came conjoined with an application that I wish to keep, and the RATed version is the only one that I have access to. Is there any way to locate and remove the trojan without deleting the file itself?

ALL Android devices are supported on XDA but not all have a dedicated forum. I still suggest you post your question in the general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help, making sure you explain to the members there what leads you to believe that you have a "Trojan" and what specific application is causing you concern.
Once again, good luck!

There actually is no support on XDA for the newest Galaxy Core Prime, it came out about 3 weeks ago.

[Completed] Rooting Samsung Dart (SGH-T499)

My friend gave me his old Samsung Dart, but it has Android Froyo on it. I want to upgrade it to at least Ice Cream Sandwich. I've been searching for guides but I haven't found any. Any help?
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
I have found unofficial ports of CM7 (Based on Android Gingerbread) on the Cyanogenmod Wiki. Please note that the ROM is semi-stable as there are some important features that are not working (camera, random reboots and calls). Just make sure to read before flashing. Because of the bugs, it may not be advised to flash it on your device if you require to use a "working" phone.
Alternatively, you can post in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum as there is no dedicated forum for your device. Please also note that you will have to create a XDA account to post.

[Completed] Android 6 ROM for Asus Pegasus 2 plus

Hello, I have a new Asus_X550 (the Pegasus 2 Plus), running Android 5.1.1.
Since I bought it in China, there are pieces of it in Chinese, which I don't want. Therefore, I'd like help with *one* of the following, in order of preference (the best being #1)
1. Can I flash Android 6.* onto it? How?
2. Can I flash some other custom ROM? How? I checked, and it doesn't seem to be supported, at least not by CM. I've seen the one article all over the place claiming to do it, but I'm unsure of the legitimacy of the ROM given, esp since the download requires surveys and such.
3. How can I replace the Chinese app drawer and UI?
Thanks in advance for your help.

[Completed] Touchscreen not respoding after update

Hallo,
First off some details:
I have a galaxy s3 i9300.
I was attempting to install android 4.4.
Due to "error 7" this was a lot harder then it should have been ( the versions of cwm that i could get to work gave error 7 and newer versions did not load)
Eventually i installed philz touch version 6 wich was able to install this kitkat file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=11372
(back-to-n00t_ROM_V9).
However the screen stopped responding, the solutions found using google (take our battery, factory reset, unscrew the back and check a connector) did not work.
I think i got android 4.4 running, the other buttons work fine and i can acces the recovery and the download mode.
During my process i downloaded a kernel of a s2
(https://emilgeorgejames.wordpress.com/2015/03/02/how-to-fix-eerror-status-7-with-cwm-recovery-while-flashing-cyanogenmod-11-kk4-4-4-on-samsung-s-ii-gt-i9100g/)
Which, as far as i can see seems to be the problem, however i dont know anything about kernels etc. i tried installing s3 kernels from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/ref-galaxy-s3-stock-kernel-bootloaders-t2189063) which did not solve the problem
Take note, i am very new at this, i spend some time today trying to get android 4.4 working which is all the experience i have with this subject.
In advance, thank you all for any help you can provide.
I hope i dont have to buy a new phone.
