[Completed] Removal of RATs - XDA Assist

I have a Remote Access Trojan on my android, which came conjoined with an application that I wish to keep, and the RATed version is the only one that I have access to. Is there any way to locate and remove the trojan without deleting the file itself?

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
It's difficult to point you in the right direction since you forgot to mention which device and firmware/software you have, but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!

ALL Android devices are supported on XDA but not all have a dedicated forum. I still suggest you post your question in the general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help, making sure you explain to the members there what leads you to believe that you have a "Trojan" and what specific application is causing you concern.
Once again, good luck!

There actually is no support on XDA for the newest Galaxy Core Prime, it came out about 3 weeks ago.

No member can respond to your posts here on XDA Assist, but some of the best Android experts on the planet are XDA members so even though we don't have specific forums for all devices, the knowledge is out there for you. To reach the right people, however, you need to post in a public area such as the Q&A forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help as mentioned earlier.

We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist and there is no forum specifically for the RCA 7 Voyager at this time but you may want to ask your question with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. [Completed] Android 6 ROM for Asus Pegasus 2 plus

Hello, I have a new Asus_X550 (the Pegasus 2 Plus), running Android 5.1.1.
Since I bought it in China, there are pieces of it in Chinese, which I don't want. Therefore, I'd like help with *one* of the following, in order of preference (the best being #1)
1. Can I flash Android 6.* onto it? How?
2. Can I flash some other custom ROM? How? I checked, and it doesn't seem to be supported, at least not by CM. I've seen the one article all over the place claiming to do it, but I'm unsure of the legitimacy of the ROM given, esp since the download requires surveys and such.
3. How can I replace the Chinese app drawer and UI?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Well we need one, I figured it out tinkering by myself. I know how to fully fix/root/recovery/xpose/flash and more. I'll be making a custom rom soon because i made one before with the Galaxy TAB S.
