Kitkat update for Ascend G6-U10

My name is william i come out the netherlands and i have great news for Huawei Ascend G6-U10 users
Today i was surfing on the web for the kitkat update and there i came across an site.

There i found a link to the B330 update zip before i thought it was yet another false download but i download it en put the dload map
out the zip file on the root of my SD-card and perform the update thru system update and then lokal update option.
when i press that my restart itself and then i came in the android update menu and i cannot believe my own eyes he was installing the update and now i,m the proud of an ascend G6-U10 with kitkat version 4.4.2 .
i will make photos of my phone info and will them attached in this thread as prove.
so if you also whant it on youre phone just download the B330 update.zip from the site i listed in the description
when you have downloaded it unzip it and then you hook youre phone on the computer and then put the dload map directly on the main-root of youre sd-card and then you go to settings-about phone-system update-and then you select lokale update and then he will ask you if you whant to make an back-up you can but i did it without an backup but if you whant besure about it then you can make an back-up you phone will reboot automaticly in to the android update program and it will install the update and then will reboot 2 times and bij the second the phone will take a will for the first time booting up.
and then when it boot up to mainscreen you can set the language to any one and then just signin with youre google account and then you also have kitkat 4.4.2 on the Ascend G6-U10.

I found thuis update too, on androidhilfe. I am from the netherlands also. This rom is a great improvement, brightness controller is now working as it is supposed to work.
It is fast, only disadvantage is that it is rather big. So it leaves few space for installing other apps. I will try to root my phone to remove some system apps.

Don't want to start a Dutch enclave here, but living in The Netherlands, this works great. All we have to find is a new way to root our device. RootGenius, KingoRoot and Towelroot all fail. Any suggestions?

I tried to use all models with this website, doesnt work. I write mail to huawei and here is reply from them.

I found this method and ITS WORKED! For everyone who want to get your code here is a method which work for L09
You have to use Huawei Product ID Generator and this site to get your code, use translate to register

The EMUI site needs a China registered phone number in order to sign in... how did you guys if non China based users overcome that restriction ?

You dont have to register by number, at right probably, you got a option to register by using email. Translate this page and you should find that.

I roamed around differetn posts and websites about unlocking the bootloader.
I was looking for a replicable procedure (also for my son's and a friend's phone) and this is the best one I foud:

It worked first shot on 3 Mate 7 Gold.
Explanation and procedure is quite well written and simple as it could be, consdiering that no one-shot-unlock software exists for our phone.

Firmware Finder can force the installation of the most up-to-date firmware on your device.

Don't get too excited. If the firmware is not approved then it's just a waste of precious data.

How to do that? Can it bypass huawei acc? How to isntall if i stuck.in HUAWEI acc?

Yeah see that, but for some reason it fails at 5% even though the update is approved. I think time to go back to Samsung...

Question Switch firmware versions // Remove China censorship

Hi everyone,
i'm currently living as an expat in China and will do so for the next two years.
I bought a Samsung Tab 7 FE here in China and would like to switch my firmware version to the international or european one to get rid of the censorship and not being able to install certain apps like Maps etc.
I've read through the recent rooting thread, unlocked my bootloader and got Odin and Frija downloaded.
What i can't find is the international firmware version of my device.
To make it clear:
Model Number: SM-T735C
CHC: CHC
Frija suggests this file:
SM-T735C_1_20211123165801_q8v4albsaf_fac.zip.enc4
But this will probably just update my firmware to the latest China firmware, right?
I also looked on sammobile but they seem to not know my device...
It should now be possible to do what i'm trying to do, can somebody give me some advice how to proceed?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm in the same position now and was looking for an answer to this too.

The "C" means you have a special hardware variant for China, it will not work with non-Chinese firmware. Your only option is a custom ROM, and with Samsung's recent moves against those, good luck.

Hardwarewise it's exactly the same, just got the restrictions on the software side. Unfortunately i've not figured it out yet @citizenjack, currently i'm using it only for media where i works just fine. I think sooner or later someone will come up with a solution

This won't work as it's the "C" variant and it won't accept this firmware.

I've been having this issue without trying to convert my device for work and banking apps, T-Mobile was useless, they gave me OnePlus' CS number and they were completely useless too. After repeatedly telling the representative that my phone doesn't have the local upgrade option like 4 times I gave up with them. T-Mobile did actually call me back and the rep apologized for not being able to help me and commiserated about how poor OP support is.
Personally, I feel they pulled the OTA and have left everyone on the November 2021 patch while they fix the A12 update

I guess that's what will happen, I'm not quite sure. All I know is the filename and description are incorrect, and I reckon if someone went into the OTA server and corrected a file name or arranged the files properly, our phones would receive the correct software updates.

Ive searched around and unfortunately doing text chat with OnePlus and getting remote support is the best bet to get the MSM tool. I have a session setup within the next 48 hours with them, so I will keep everyone posted
