After I unlocked my bootloader, my phone got stuck in a bootloop (softbricked) so I installed the stock rom which has Android 4.1.2 (Under 4.2) I know that is not the latest android version cause before I unlocked my phone's bootloader, it had Android 4.2.2
After flashing the stock rom, I then installed Cyanogenmod 12.1 Nightly 2016-07-10. That's where the problem started, I can't connect to my WiFi whereas in the stock rom, I could still connect to my WiFi. Then I proceed to install OctOS. Still no internet. Then I installed the rom called [Android 5.1.1 Lollipop] Resurrection Remix for Xperia L.
Still no WiFi connection, in Cyanogenmod 12.1, it lets me skip the WiFi connection during the setup menu but in OctOs and Ressurection Remix won't let me skip that step so basically I was stuck in the setup menu (WiFi part). It would say "Add a connection" and a MAC Address was under it, then "Turning on WiFi..." and then after a while a blank white box would appear,
I've wasted about 12 hours just to try to update this damn phone ;-;
So many posts about this bro, it is simple: you must come from latest stock firmware, which is 15.3.A1.17. Now download that firmware, flash it and install any custom rom you want

so i flashed the lolli img from google and all was fine. wanted to install a custom rom so i flashed the latest twrp and then cataclysm. all seemed well but when i turned off wifi i just get the no service error, its on LTE and seems correct. then i tried to go back into recovery and it just reboots. i had slimlp rom on there and the same thing happened with the recovery problem.
any help? just want to keep the recovery working and get the cell radio all fixed with cataclysm
People with TWRP 2.8.2.0.might need to.downgrade to 2.8.1.0.
The latest version hangs at the curtain if it has MTP enabled.
Hello,
I keep trying to update to the latest nightly to get cyanogenmod 12 on XT1302. However they don't work. I get weird scan lines, even during the boot logo and animation. Everything is slow and unstable. During installation it always says root access possibly lost, fix, yes or no. Thankfully I have a working backup, but it's stuck on an old 2014 cm 11 snapshot and I want to upgrade
I suspect there is a problem with gapps since I get incessant "X app has stopped working error" messages and it's always a google service. However I do not know what the procedure is. I downloaded the cm12 gapps and flashed them after flashing the nightly as said in faq but it doesn't seem to work. Sometimes even Trebuchet stops working, making the phone totally unusable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :good:
Are you running with a lollipop bootloader? I think the latest CM12 requires it.

I've been googling this and I think you have correctly identified the issue. If I install the lollipop bootloader, will I be able to go back to my cm11 backup in case of an emergency?
Just to confirm, to update the bootloader, you have to flash the brazil lollipop rom and it should work?
If you unzip the stock ROM, the bootloader is the motoboot.img file.
I don't think you need to flash everything, just the bootloader file. If that doesn't allow you to use CM12, you may have to restore your CM11 nandroid and then flash CM12.
Hi there,
I flashed omerjerk' CM 12.1 according to the install guide and also flashed GAPPS afterwards.
CM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4i/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3212636
GAPPS: as suggested in install guide https://github.com/cgapps/vendor_google/tree/builds/arm64 i took the "gapps-5.1-arm64-2015-07-17-15-08.zip"
When rebooting the system, CM optimized all apps and then started.
Then, I got the CM setup screen but the phone did not recognize any touches. After a few seconds the phone restarted again and I got into a loop.
Can someone help please?
EDIT: I have tried different ROMS (e.g. this one but I have the same problem. This time I could swipe through the languages for 1 sec. Then freeze again and restart
I guess your on MIUI 6.7.x.x or 7.0.x.x ...................... to use any custom rom on Mi4i you need to be on MIUI 6.6.x.x or earlier verion to it before u flash custom roms ....
Fastboot your device with 6.6.x.x to fix and install CM or any roms.

I got it working.
I tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-4i/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3212636
and the guide included already the flash to MIUI 6.6.10
I think everybody should include that step in their guides
Hey guy I am new here. Last week I got problem about my M2. I accidentally delete system files, It make my M2 bootloops. I don't know why I can't enter to Flashmode. So I try to UBL and flash Custom Recovery via fastboot. It's worked. And I flash many Custom Rom (CM12.1, CM11, Omni, Slim etc.). But I got many errors, problems and bugs.
In CM 12.1, I got wifi issue. I can't connect my home wifi.
In CM 11, I got error with com.android.phone.
In Omni, I can't boot my M2.
In Slim, Same as CM 12.1 wifi issue.
And many time when I flash custom rom. It said "This package for D2303. This device is D2305". But my device is D2303. I check it from IMEI and my M2 package.
Now I want to flash Stock Rom. Is there any way to flash stock rom via custom recovery. Or any way to solve above custom rom problem.
Thank you for attention.
Sorry for my bad English.
For CM 11, I just insert SIM card for solution (com.android.phone error)
I found the some solution in CM 12.1 (Don't sure, But it's worked for me).
First, I flash CM11.
Second, flash this custom recovery "[D2303][NEW]Download for KitKat 4.4.4 (18.3.1.C.1.13) (RIC disabled + new CM recovery)".
Third, apply update (CM 12.1)
This make me can connect wifi that I was connect in CM11
and
When I setting "Wi-Fi region code", I can connect some another my home wifi.
(Setting > Wi-Fi > (3 dots on the top right) > Advance > Wi-Fi region code > "I try to select United States or Europe" )
I don't sure about this solution but it is worked for me.
I am having a problem installing customs ROM on stock LG G2. My phone was bricked so I reverted to stock AT&G firmware using LG flash tool (Android version - 4.4.2, Kernel version - 3.4.0).
I then perform the following steps:
(1) Enable developer mode with USB debugging
(2) Use Kingo Root to root phone
(3) Install TWRP using AutoRec
(4) Update TWRP to latest version (3.2.1)
This is where the problems start. I get the same result when I try installing crDroid 7.1.2 or Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 custom ROMs.
The installation of the custom ROM (and gapps) succeeds in TWRP and then I reboot the system. However, the reboot always results in the "LG" logo showing for 1/2 seconds and then a constant black screen.
I am able to recover the phone from this by putting it into firmware update and then using LG Flash tool however I would still like to successfully install and use the custom ROMs. Not sure why this is happening (I am sure it might have been treated with in the forums however I cant find anything). Any help would be appreciated here as I really do not want to be stuck on stock AT&T firmware.

Update: It seems as if older ROMs can be installed with no issues. I got a copy of Cyanogen 12 and it installed perfectly and works fine. However, trying to install new ROMs still give issues. Don't know if I am missing something here and/or someone had a similar previous experience.
