I have a vr headset and kinovr app to play games from my pc to my android phone. The only problem I'm having is that the only way to control the game from the phone is with on screen controls which is useless when the phone is in the vr headset. My question is, is there a way I can connect my Bluetooth controller to my android phone and then control the game on my PC with it somehow? Thanks for any help.

Hey guys,
I bought a particular bluetooth control. It's little clip looking like an iPod shuffle. It's this here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300590078906#ht_3349wt_1396
I only want to use the hardware buttons (Play/Pause, next/last title and volume up/down), but as I connect my smartphone via bluetooth, my device recognizes the bluetooth controller as an headset and all the music goes over the plug on the controller. That wouldn't be that bad, if the audio plug of the controller wouldn't be so crappy.
Now I am searching for a way to make my smartphone allways play media over the audio plug on the hardware itself and NOT over bluetooth accessory. Do you know an app or something where I can control this?
I can't find any bluetooth settings for this. :/
My device is a "Sony Ericsson Xperia Play" (R800i), Android 2.3.7 (CyanogenMod-7.2.0)

no solution for me?
Whenever I link up the game controller, the only place I get sound is when I plug headphones into the controller. Everything else is muted. Is there really no way to use the game controller without headphones? Sound is fine out of the speakers when the controller is off.
Maybe I'm missing something silly...
Thanks,
Jeff
Did you solve your problem?
I got sound from the tablet and also over HDMI if connected when using the game controller.
Is it possible to pair a Windows Surface with a PS3 through Bluetooth and use it as an external keyboard or stream media from it?
Thank you,
John
Keyboard/mouse maybe. I doubt bluetooth has the bandwidth for streaming video though.. probably need to go over wifi for that, which is built into windows.
Look, I have a ps4 controller paired through Bluetooth, I can use it as a game controller fine, but I also want to be able to push my sound to the headphone jack on the controller any help??
I currently use a USB OTG cable to connect my PS4 controller to my phone. I don't own a PS4 so this will be the only device I'm pairing the controller with.
I know in order to pair my controller I have to hold the PS and share buttons, wait for the controller's white light to flash, and scan for the controller on my phone. The controller shows up, but it won't pair. It just gets stuck, even after the controller's light stops flashing.
Am I missing something for my phone to pair to a Bluetooth controller?
