Does anyone know how to change the temperature settings in s voice? When I ask for the temperature I want it to be in Fahrenheit not Celsius. I'm using the 930f. Any ideas?

The phone settings and s voice settings are both set to US English. I'm not sure why it didn't have a toggle switch like a lot of apps do. Any other ideas?

Anyone know of a brightness widget that will toggle between "Low" and "High" brightness, but also toggle back to the automatic brightness?
Most of the time i wanna use auto brightness, but when i want to change to high or low/off I dont like to have to go into the settings menu every time to change it.
Most of the widgets ive found have only gone through low, med, high, but no way to go to auto.
Thanks in advance

Check out the Android Power Control widget. It does exactly as you describe - but has the other power options on there too. I use it all the time.

that goes to auto? i tried it and thought it just went off, med, high...guess i'll try again
I just tested it out, and to the best of my knowledge, it seems that it does just do "off" "low" and "high/full" brightness. I tested this by looking in the settings under brightness after each click, and "auto" is never checked, the slider just goes up and down depending on which click its on.
someone please illuminate (no pun intended) this for me if you can...
Thanks

It does exactly what you need:
press once and brightness is off
Press second time and brightness in on auto
press third time and brightness in on highest
But maybe somebody knows if it is possible:
press once brightness in on auto
press second time and brightness is off
I was wrong, in power manager you can set birghtnees eather to auto, low or high!
So gbenj was right.
Thanks.
Anyone know of anything that can toggle to "auto" as well as low/high?

Woah! Dazzle is an amazing widget, thank you so much for sharing this with the community !
It does everything I want it to plus some more, except GPS. If it had GPS it would be the #1 app, until then it can sit at #2
Check out SwitchPro Widget.. does seven icons in a row and lets u toggle all sorts of stuff like Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, Sync, Airplane mode, Vibrate and of course brightness too. and it does lo, high and auto brightness.. Looks good too with a transparent background option..
FroYo does this by default now.

New version of Dazzle does GPS, great widget
I had to stop using Locale because it was using 92% of my battery....tried to use Auto Settings (love the idea of it) but that was using 85% of it....is there any out there that will not drain my battery?
BTW when I say Orientation I mean face down will be vibrate and face up normal or something like that.
Thanks guys
Use a toggle widget? They take half a second to switch from vibrate to normal.

That's not a bad idea. I suppose any app that will have to use the Acc. will cause a serious battery drain. That's unfortunate because Auto Settings is very useful.
I think that settings profile advertised that it has a widget that goes along with it?

If you are going by battery statistics from system settings menu under "about phone", then those percents are not necessarily accurate. You need to look at the actual usage of those apps from something like System Monitor. The problem with the built in battery stats is that while it reports a high percent, the app actually only pings usage very minimally for a short burst. It uses little to none overhead, yet the battery screen reports it as constantly running.
I had this issue with Screebl, but System Monitor show that it uses very little of anything.

I live in florida and apparently my phone thinks its 28 degrees outside according to my Sense 3.6 Weather App. any way to fix this?
Well 28° C is about 82° F, so, it looks to me like maybe you're displaying temps in celsius. Try changing temperature setting to display in fahrenheit within the weather apps settings menu.

Hey there, does anyone have any idea how you can change the default temperature units that Bixby voice uses. Currently if reads out the temperature in Fahrenheit and I would really like to have it in Celsius (being in Australia and all).
Thanks guys!
Say, "whether in Celcius"
Then. add quick command, and just say weather, and save it. Next time, when you say weather, it will show in Celcius.
Awesome workaround!! Much appreciated
I'm not setting a gps quick setting option. Am I missing something or it doesn't exist? Closest one I found was location, but that turned off the whole location
Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
It does exists. I don't understand well your question.
If you press and hold position toggle you can access Position settings.
Yes the Location toggle is the GPS toggle. It will turn the GPS on and off.

In location settings you have 3 modes. High Accuracy, Battery Saving, Device Only. Only High Accuracy is technically considered GPS since it uses the GPS module on the phone. I want to be able to flip from High Accuracy to Battery Saving because of applications like weather or yelp that require your location through mobile data. If I turn off all location services which is what that toggle does, it turns off everything. I guess I'll just have to go through the menu for this.

Yeah Both The High Accuracy and Device are True GPS modes, while battery saving mode is only using wifi or mobile data(not actually using True GPS). Like the above user said only way to do what you want is long press the quick settings Location and choose from there.
Found what I was looking for by downloading the HTC gps widget https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/htc-c.../gps-widget-7-50-636098-android-apk-download/

Installed that too on my device, but doesn't works...it only reads status, does not toggle gos on or off...
It doesn't have a GPS icon. It only has a location icon. If you go into location in settings you can turn it off completely by the toggle at the top right..
