I have no hope ? or there is a solution for my problem - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So this is what i have done, (btw sorry for bad English)
I wanted to upgrade my N8000 to 4.4
But my Usb cable dosnt work for some reason, so i cant use odin
So i rooted my device and installed odin pro and Flashed to 4.4 directly from my device
Everything was perfect until i realised that wifi and 3g isnt working anymore
after hours of research
i assume is because of i choosed a bad firmware and some kernel stuff i dont really understand
Im trying to reflash but odin pro needs Wifi
And other programs needed to be rooted
and root went rogue cause SuperUS is missing binary ..only way to fix this is by using oding but i cant cause usb dosnt work
and i cant unroot or delete files from the same device cause i need root
So...No usb, no wifi and no Root
Im stuck in hell ?
Please send help or prayers

Use another USB or another PC is the stock answer.

[Q] Reverting X10 mini pro back to stock help

I have tried to look through the numerous threads but still dont seem to beable to find the answer to my question, I bought a x10 mini pro from someone and it has cyanogenmod 7 v005 on it but i want to revert it back to stock. As i bought this with cyanogenmod already on it i dont have the stock rom. I have checked and it does have xrecovery installed so can i just find a stock rom and install it using xrecovery or do i need another custom rom. If anyone can point me to the right thread (i know there prob is one and ive missed it) or to the stock rom? It would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
anyone able to help??
so am i stuck on this custom rom?
if you find a stock rom that is in a format that the recovery mode can use, yes.
if not you will probably have to use a flash program like odin and flash the stock rom that way.
argggh i got impatient waiting for a response and read elsewhere using pc companion to restore would work and now stuck in SE logo loop, is it now bricked? or is there a solution ???

Sure thing, always happy to help .
If you still have download mode or something similar it is not fully bricked.
On the sgs you can even make a custom usb plug to get it into flash mode when your download mode is broken, it just takes more expertise to get it working again the more you brick it .
**SOLVED**
I did a repair in PC Companion, and that gave me stock ROM - but I didn't get the correct hardwarekeyboard...
And I lost Root I guess, so I can't replace/change the keyprint.xml file.
xRecovery seems to be gone, but what about JIT(what is that?)?
I want to be all stock due to warranty.
Oh, and how should I format my sd card?! I have an ext3 and a fat32 partition now, to support apps2sd, but dont want that. should i just format whole card to fat32?
Not sure about the SD card. However I would first backup any data/files on the SD card before trying anything.
Regarding JIT, it basically boots the performance of your phone, its related to Android's software compiler.
I think Android versions 2.2 & above already have JIT enabled, however to have this on version 2.1 you may need to root the device.

[Q] canĀ“t root and do anything to lg p920

hello, i just purchased a lg device, actually a lg p920 or lg 3d, and when i got it and saw that the signal wasnt working and that i couldnt connect it to the computer either, so i thought that i could just flash a new rom or something like i did in my samsung vibrant, but i couldnt either, becuase when i went to the clockwork mod, it just said wipe, i mean all the options that appeared were wipe... so there wasnt an install option, a i realize that it was because it wasnt rooted. so i have been looking everywhere in the internet and i tried out all the root option for this device, but none of them work, so now i dont know what to do. because i cant either get my cell to work, even for calling or anything, because it doesnt reconigze any sim cards, and i cant either connect it to the computer to flash to a new rom. the device is actually running android 2.2.2 and the kernel is 2.6.35.7, dont know if that helps, but i really need help with this pleasee!!! thanks in advancee!!
1. Does it boot into Android system?
2. Send us links of threads that you already try
3. what OS you have on your computers
4. which phone driver did you install on the computer.

if your handset is new, within warranty, it is best that you take it to the official LG service stop. please dont try rooting as it will void your warranty.
only if you decide that you can do without warranty, you can try rooting the O3D.
before that, upgrade to GB.
search for MEGATRON in this forum for rooting the O3D
once rooted, you can download ROM Manager from play store, flash recovery using ROM manager and then try custom ROMs.
please click on thanks if you think I helped.

[Completed] [q] help! I did something wrong

so i rooted my SHW-M100S and i flashed a 2.2 rom on it. I didnt know how to remove or flash stock rom again so i tried flashing another rom then something went wrong. It says that it needs to be upgraded and i need to try again but odin wont detect it what should i do
Hi,
It may be an issue with drivers on PC but a good place to trouble shoot would be in this rooting thread found here

Hope you get the help you need there!

[Q] Here is what I have managed to do to my phone

THIS IS A QUOTESounds like you corrupted the partitions flashing all those bootloaders. There is really no random problems that pop up which can be solved by flashing bootloaders. You only need those if you specifically mess up your bootloader, or you need to update it. But you have successfully messed it up beyond my talent. If flashing the stock nj2 .tar in odin didn't fix it, you may need to use a debrick image. But I've never gotten myself in a position to need that so maybe someone else ca n chime in here. END QUOTE
This is what appears to be what I have done to my phone. I can boot to recovery and download mode but nothing I have tried so far has gotten me past that. {Another thing that bothers me is trying to get win7 to load the correct drivers for my phone. I've even tried turning off my internet connection but it still doesn't seem to install right except in kies or oden.} I tried to flash an SD card with a debrick image:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2660566 but nothing happened. I have the unified android skipsoft toolbox on my pc but I can't get win7 to install the correct drivers for the phone to use it! If someone can help I sure would appreciate it. The phone was rooted with a stock rom MK 4.1.2. I rooted it with Kies a couple of years ago. It's a Sprint SPH-L710 16GB I can't get the serial # because it won't boot to let me get it. I don't have the box.

Hey,i need some help with a samsung phone

Hi to all of you.I got given an old samsung galaxy s4 mini(GT-I9192)and the person who gave it said it was broken if you can fix it you can keep/sell it.I tried opening it but it didnt respond to any keys even when i tried download/recovery/power on.As i researched online it seems to me that the device has been hardbricked. The guy who gave it to me said he had sent it to a store to repair and said that his cpu was not functioning anymore for both of his s4 minis which doesnt seem to happen just for the 2 phones that 1 person buys and because i live in Albania services arents so great. When i tried to install a custom rom from odin(latest to this date)it wouldnt recognise it but when i plugged the phone in windows made tge sound that something was plugged in and then shortly after it made the disconnecting sound whoch gives me a reason to think that the device may still be alive.I came here since this is the most know site for tech stuff.I havent seen any kind of bricking before but i read tgat the soft bricked devices just need a clean install and to wipe cache and dalvik which gives it the look when it was bought.Ive seen that you can pay for jtag or try a usb jig but i dont want to spend any money since i have a better phone (galaxy j5 2017) and i just wanted to see if i could use it to experiment with roms root and stuff on there.
Any help will be appriciated and if i have any mistakes in my languagee im sorry because as i said im from Albania and not USA/UK

Download and install the full set of USB drivers for Samsung phones. This might be part of your connection/disconnection issue.
https://developer.samsung.com/galaxy/others/android-usb-driver-for-windows
On your Windows system, go to Control Panel>Device Manager, then connect your device, when you connect it, watch the Device Manager window, if your device connects, it should have something appear on your list of devices. Try to see what the list shows when the device connects, even if it still just a momentary connection, then come back here and post what it says. This will give me a better idea of what is going on with the device.
If what your friend told you about the CPU's being bad is true, you won't be able to fix the device(s) unless you replace the motherboard(s).
Some Samsung devices with locked bootloaders also have a hardware component called a Q-fuse, if someone attempts to flash a custom recovery or anything else custom on the device, it trips Q-fuse which then "burns" the fuse, rendering the device inoperably hardbricked. This is probably what was attempted on the devices you have. If this is what happened, you won't be able to fix it, not even Samsung themselves can fix this, all they can do is salvage the device to reclaim any possible usable hardware components.

Thanks for the reply.First things to start,my friend doesnt mess up with loading custom roms as he doesnt have much knowledge on technology.Next, when i connected the device the first time it showed me the name QSHUSB_DLOAD(or smth like that because i am not avaible to use the computer right now).I tried installing some drivers and i will edit the name that i got when i use the computer in a matter of a hour or two.

Everything you're describing is exactly the results one gets when someone tries to flash something custom via Odin, or when trying to update the device via Odin but the wrong firmware is flashed.
Generally, the only to fix this is to send the device to a professional shop to have a JTAG service performed on the device(s) or replace the motherboard.
From what you describe, I believe the devices are permanently hardbricked, the only solution then is to replace the motherboard. Other than that, you're wasting your time.

Well feom what i know he doesnt know anything about odin or flashing a new rom since he doesnt even know what a rom is.Then again he hasnt done a factory reset since he doesnt know how.And he has even said that hasnt done anything else than getting it out of the box putting a sim card and just using it.If there is anything we can try to bring it to life by trying to flash a new custom rom or the original rom from an sd card or a usb flash drive(since i have the converter from charging port to usb).Anyways i was just trying to see if i could bring it to life and idk maybe give it to someone else or sell it.
Thanks for your help for the tips you have given me amd for the help that you may give in advance

If you can find a "debrick.img" or "unbrick.img",(sometimes, these files are debrick.bin or unbrick.bin), there is a method that involves burning the .img or .bin file on an sdcard to create a type of "bootable disk" to restore the device. The only way to get a copy of this file is from a rooted device with the same model number as yours, try to find one that someone has already creates and made available or try finding someone in this forum that has a device like yours with the same model number and then have them pull a copy of debrick.img from their device and upload it for you to download and use for your device.
Here is a thread for doing this on a galaxy S3, if you can find the specific debrick file for your exact model number, you can try this method. Use the method and the tools as described in the thread, you just need to make sure that any device specific files used in the method are those files for your specific model number.

Use an sdcard, the thread that I linked has instructions for returning the sdcard to normal usage after you're done getting the device restored. No, you can not use a debrick.img or any other file from a device with a different model number, it has to be for YOUR SPECIFIC MODEL NUMBER I have told you that in every one of my replies here, that is a MUST, it is not "optional".
Stop looking for shortcuts, I know it isn't easy to find what you need but there are no substitutes, do it the right way or don't do it at all.
