EVA-AL10 to EVA-L29
Hey guys,
I am really sorry for the dumb question... I want to get rid of all chinese stuff in my phone (EVA-AL10, currently my device is on C00B183).
I already downloaded the SRK tool and have the EVA-L29C636B136 version downloaded from stock ROM thread.
Which oeminfo may I flash in my phone with the tool?
After flash EVA-L29C636B136 I will receive the last update by OTA or need to download the last version in stock rom thread and do it manually?

Can I up this ROM for EVA-L19 ?? thanks

Please help dont just read! Help! Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

since i rooted my phone huawei honor 6 L02 i cannot perform the automatic update, i downloaded update.app from the emui website with the right build number, i put it in my sd card "dload" folder and when i chose "local update" on my phone, it boots in to recovery. I found the "dload" folder in recovery and when i try to open it it says "no files found" PLEASE HELP ME I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP
How to find dload folder using stock recovery??
Or if you are using CWM you can't flash update.app with that recovery.
You need to be on stock recovery to update. TWRP or CWM does can not install official updates.
And even if you are on stock recovery updates may fail (especially OTA:s) if you have modified certain stock system files while rooted.

Problem to flash a new Rom

Hello,
I "encourtered" a problem with a new update.
I bought an Asian Huawei Mate 8 with the C636B152 version.
Next, I use a C900B320 version to flash this Huawei. Currently it works perfectly.
But now, I have a zip file ROM C432B320 to flash it and I try to update.
For that I use the 3 buttons method.
I extract the zip file in a dload folder on the SD card.
I use 3 buttons and the smartphone restart.
It seem the update is perfectly but, after reboot my huawei is always with the C900B320 version
I launch TWRP and it say : "Device not rooted". Is this the problem ?
What should I do to resolve this ?
Thank you very much to help me.
Regards.

Dload always with external sd card
Do not try to use it with the internal
Search for the rollback package
Just simply download your device last firmware and extract the following with Huawei update extrator
1.boot .img
2.cust.img
3.recovery.img
4.system.img
5.userdata.img
Then boot your device into fastboot ,open adb command then flash
1.fastboot flash boot boot.img
2.fastboot flash cust cust.img
3.fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
4.fastboot flash system system.img
5.fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
Then 6. fastboot reboot
your device will go on reboot .
That's it back to normal
YES

So, i managed to flash nougat by this links
http://www.stechguide.com/honor-8-b360-nougat-update/
1. Update.zip
2. Update_data_full_hw_eu.zip
putting the various files in the dload folder.
The first update.zip succedeed; but rebooting the system and making first configuration, i see that the os lacks on many apps (no keyboard!).
Trying to update with Update_data_full_hw_eu.zip i get incompatible firmware.
So my idea was to flash the original stock rom (android 6); i downloaded it on
http://www.stechguide.com/honor-8-b360-nougat-update/
and put everything in the dload folder.
But this time erecovery says to me "software installation failed, incompatibility with current version"
Any clue?
Thanks again

Hi @deluxe^ check for OTA updates in your device by clicking check for updates If any available proceed through OTA if not available try manual update by following the procedure
1.First download the ROMS full packages form here for your region.
2.Extract the zip file and make a folder names as dload in root directory of sd card and copy the update.app into that folder.
3.Dail *#*#2846579#*#* you will enter into ProjectMenu then click Software Update>>SDCard Update
4.Confirm the prompt and your device will reboot to update.
IMP:BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP all your data before proceeding the above procedure is safe to proceed but proceed with caution.
Select correct ROM version for your region.

Need boot.img FRD-L09 B404

Hello everyone.
I unlocked a bootloader in my freshly bought Honor 8 last week and I the first thing I did was to flash a root package (obviously). I'm used to SuperSU, so tha's what I flashed. Then I found out about Magisk. I want to try it, but I need to flash stock boot.img in order to install it. My build number is FRD-L09C432B404 (EMUI 5.0, Android 7.0). Could anyone upload corresponding boot img? I'd be thankful.
Do it yourself! ^^

Hello!
You can do it yourself, just follow these steps:
1) Download your firmware (update.zip) from hicloud url: update.zip
2) Extract zip
3) Download "Huawei Update Extractor 0.9.9.5" (zip file): HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.9.5.zip
4) Extract zip
5) Open "HuaweiUpdateExtractor.exe" extracted from previous step
6) Click on the 2 dots button and navigate to the file to add the "UPDATE.APP" file ( extracted from step 2) ), it will show you all the files like boot.img , recovery.img , recovery2.img , system.img , etc.
7) Select "BOOT.img" and right-click > "Extract Selected". Choose this destination folder: Where fastboot/adb are installed.
8) Use fastboot command to flash "BOOT.img":
Code:
fastboot flash boot BOOT.img
Hope it helps you!
I'd rather not download 1.3GB of firmware for the sake of one small boot.img which can't be bigger than 50MBs, not to mention additional software I'll use probably never again, so I'd be thankful if someone sent already extracted boot

Thanks for your support. I had to extract it anyways for stock recovery, so here it is in case someone needed it.
