The only one I think there is is from wanam. And it's for deodexed rooted 5.1 firmware. Since no root for Verizon Galaxy S6 5.1 you won't be able to use it.

btw, why do you ask this in the Development section??
Why can't we flash the D6603 pre-rooted XZDR 5.1.1 Rom on a rooted/recovery D6616? I thought the only thing stopping us before was that we did not have root or a custom recovery on the 6616, so we could not do it without losing DRM keys. Has that changed or not?
Because bricking your phone isn't fun
Right, I understand that there are risks involved. What I am trying to understand is what in particular creates those risks. Could you explain a little further why flashing a D6603 zip would brick the D6616?
I am curious about this as well.
I just recently got my Z3, which I had to unlock since I use AT&T. I now want to root and put 5.1 on it, but it seems like the T-Mobile one is so locked down. As far as I know about DRM keys I don't really care about them since I am not planning on using any Sony software (except maybe the camera software) If I could just put 5.1 on it, with a camera app that shoots RAW I would be happy.
What version do you have? We have root for the D6616 but that won't help us get 5.1 from what I can see. Best bet is to get the D6603 if that is what is most important to you.

I have the D6616.... I guess I don't care so much about 5.1 as I do getting the best battery life possible. But it looks like custom roms are not available since the boatloader is locked?

That's correct - we're limited to modifications of stock. But that makes me wonder why 5.1.1 wouldn't work.

I've been looking for a 5.1.1 for the D6616..... Prerooted.... No one has this yet? I am on 4.4.4 stock rooted ROM, and I have a flashable 5.0.1, but I see no reason to not want 5.1.1, so why do you say root on 5.1.1 isn't doable?

It's not root that's not doable. There exist 5.1.1 prerooted zips for D6603. The issue is that 5.1.1 for the D6616 has not been released yet, hence it has not not been rooted.

Ah, understood now. Thanks for clarifying.
I just got this tablet and I made the assumption rooting wouldn't be an issue and now i'm shocked that it appears it can't be rooted. Is this true? I searched and found a lot of older thread but seeing if something new or changed?

How?
Was this answered? I want to root and clear out "miscellaneous files"
Has anyone gotten root and custom recovery on this yet
Hey guys,
Was hoping someone could help me out with an issue I am having.
I hope to have this resolved as soon as possible... if at all possible... because this is a company work phone.
We have Sprint Samsung S5 on call phones.
One of the users unknowingly upgraded from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 and now our call recording app does not work.
So I need to downgrade to 5.1.1. Is this possible?
I know this is the issue because the same thing happened to our Galaxy S2's.
The phone is Not Rooted - No Custom Recovery.
I hope I can just flash an old stock tar over top of the current build using ODIN.
What are your thought?
I appreciate any response. Thanks!
The Phone:
Model: SM-G900P
Android: 6.0.1
Current Build: PCA (MMB29M.G900PVPU3CPCA)
Edit: We were actually on 5.1.1. before the upgrade. Not 5.0.
Sorry Thanks

I'm having some trouble getting Xposed Framework to work on my Galaxy s6 - Marshmallow 6.0.1
I have searched and searched, to no avail. I haven't found anything that clearly explains how to get this to work on the US Cellular model, SM-G20R4. Please help!

Initially you need to have root access, if your phone is not rooted then xposed won't work.

Of course. It is rooted, and the Xposed app is installed also. Just having trouble getting the proper Framework download on this device model.

You need to be using wanams version of xposed, I'd post the link but I'm on my phone.
@LadyPenguin, Here you go: Xposed for Samsung devices
I also recommend using: Material Design Xposed
Not much wee have for this model s6.... mayby someone know any custom ROM, thats work? Preferably Nougat.
