Hello all, this may be a basic android question but i am new to andriod (HTC Thunderbolt, unrooted). The messaging app has three tabs: All Messages, SMS/MMS, and Voicemail. I'm assuming the All Messages tab should show not just SMS/MMS but also emails at the very least but all I get there is SMS/MMS. I have had the Mail app set up and working, and also the Gmail app. Also I have FB and Twitter for HTC Sense both set up (not sure if those post should show up there or not. Is there a setting I'm missing or am I misunderstanding the purpose of the Messages app? Trying to use the full functionality of the Thunderbolt. Thanks for your advice.
The all messages folder is supposed to show sms/mms as well as push messages and visual voicemail messages however I have yet to figure out how to get push messages or what services uses these

No this app works differently..
I've installed the app, but for me It can allow only the backup of conversations..

There is an app which allows me to hide my contact from any whatsapp user
This means if any user even saves my number in his contact , it will still not show on his whatsapp contacts
But it will to show to everyone else except him

using multi-user profiles with marshmallow: the list of phonecalls (history) and all sms are for all users the same.
Using 2 sim cards and separating business and private contacts in one phone it makes no sense to have only that 2 options:
1. user is NOT allowed to phone and sms (=will not see list of calls and sms), but will have only individual contacts
2. user is allowed to phone and sms, can only have his individual contacts. BUT he is sharing the phonecalllist (history) and sms from ALL other users.
Maybe that makes sense for somebody - but not for me.
The option to share ALL (incl. contacts !) - or nothing, that makes sense for me.
I want/need complete and separate profiles!
Every "user" in his user profile should see only his own contacts, his own phonecall history and his own sms.
How can I get that? Is there a workaround or app for that?

I would like to ask you if there is any SMS app of these capabilities on the market for android smartphone:
I receive 2 SMS's every day from number 99000xxxxxxxx. Last x's are variables (i think it might be counter). Each SMS has different value for last x's. Casual SMS app displays each SMS as a separate thread so I have a big mess in my SMS history. What I need is an application where I could filter SMS's somehow based on the capital numbers 99000. Each SMS with capital 99000 numbers should be recognized and moved to specific folder / thread.
Is there any application which can do these things? Thank you for answers
Hi guys, how are you all.
I am using Xiaomi Redmi Nite 4 with MIUI 9. In SMS app we can mark secret contacts and whenever these secret contacts will message you these messages will not appear in sms inbox instead we have to tap from search bar to down followed by the pin or pattern in order to access the secret messages. By this way no one can see the messages and the secret messages will recieve and stored.
Since tomorrow onwards I'll be shifting to Galaxy Note 5 device so I will badly miss this feature. Pls confirm on the following;
- Is there any way, if we could install xiaomi sms app in Note 5
- or is there any third party app which allows its users to get the sms from secret contacts in some personal inbox hidden somewhere in phone.
Please i need expert opinions.. thanks.
