Private mode not working after root

Hi guys, I have read somewhere that the private mode will stop working once you root. I think there is a fix for the Galaxy Note 4, and I have tried it but they dont work on the edge :crying: Has anyone found a fix for the edge??? I really love this feature. Will flashing back to stock firmware fix it? or once the Knox has been tripped, has it gone forever??

Sent from my SM-N915G
Update: finally fixed. The key is to delete data/system/users/privatemode_edk_1000 files and reboot. But make sure you flash the fix zip files first.

Did you ever find out the answer to this or end up trying yourself? Would be interested in knowing myself as well if it will work or not after rooting with pingpong.

Hi.
My phone is rooted by PingPongRoot - one of the first beta version (had to switch to SuperSU). Good thing is that Private Mode is still working OK. Now the only question is about Samsung Pay... but we need to wait for an answer.

Yeah, I actually risked it and ended up rooting using the most up to date version of pingpong (beta6) myself yesterday and private mode is working just fine for me as well.

Sadly I have been trying to fix the safety net many times. I have flashed about 6 times so far trying to get this safety net fixed. I had it working once, however a reboot killed it. Is there anyone who has a pass on their safety net? I would appreciate it if you have it working and have a method to keep it working. I'm on the update B388 on the FRD-L14.
