[App][5.0+] MuPDF Material Design (open source) - Android Apps and Games

Hi!
What's the best open source PDF-reader? - MuPDF
What's the the problem with MuPDF? - The design.
Because of that I decided to fork MuPDF and give it a material design. I used the most recent stable release (1.9a git build). I used the compiled version from here.
I changed to material theme and removed the print and the text reflow function, because they didn't work for me. The rest is working fine.
The app is, as you know, complete open source. So here is the source code of my fork.

Do you know why I have an update from F-Droid as soon as I install your version?

It's because I used a prebuild version (link in op). But I think the 1.9a git build is identical to the 1.9 version.

I don't know if you follow the F-Droid updates but MuPDF has been updated to v1.10.
Merry Christmas buddy :highfive:

Thanks a lot. I've merged it. Because an update - I will look on it in few days... (after the christmas days...)
Have nice days in the meantime.
Regards
Gaukler Faun

Since now I wasn't successful of compiling MuPdf from source. The source I use (see OP) wasn't updated also. I will upload a version with the new icon here in the next days.

Update v2
As promised: in the second post is the new apk with the new app icon.
I didn't found a way to compile the actual MuPDF version. So I think in the next time, there will be no update.
Regards
Gaukler Faun

MUPDF: Can not add comment on scanned PDF
Can not add comment over scanned PDF.
1. PDF will be scanned (not OCRed or else)
2. I want to add comment(add/edit text, change added text color) as displayed on screenshots over scanned PDF at anywhere. After added text, I can also edit or remove text from text.
Currently I am unable to add comment on scanned pdf using MuPDF.
Please let me know.
thank you.

[App][4.1+][CAF] Chromium for Snapdragon

CAF no longer updates the source so this project is in limbo. If CAF ever starts updating again, I will post new builds.
This is a Chromium Browser built on the CodeAurora source (optimized for Snapdragon devices).
Main changes from source:
-added extra webrefiner (adblock) lists
-changed icon / branding / colouring

Updated m58 to Stable
Compiled m59 to Beta
Tonight I will try merging the fullscreen / DuckDuckGo patches and see what happens
I've updated the links for m58 and m59 with new builds, fixing a few things. I've added DuckDuckGo as an option for search engine, but could not get the fullscreen patch to work without it constantly crashing (the code seems to be for an older version of Chrome).
[Edit]: If you try and change the search engine through settings, you may get a crash, but when you go back into it again it should work the second time. Trying to isolate why this is happening.

@lexcyn, your build is awesome. Faster than Tuga in every benchmark and rock solid. Is it very complicated to add the pie control the same way the venerable old AOSP vanilla browser did? There is an Xposed module for that, ChromePIE, but having it included in the browser code as an option would be awesome and fully compatible with Nougat. The sources are here: https://github.com/JayT5/ChromePie. It was originally ripped from the code of the AOSP browser.
Nice build!!!

:highfive:
By the way, the sources of the original AOSP browser (deprecated by google after Jelly Bean) are here https://github.com/ShinyROM/android_platform_packages_apps_browser . The java class PieControl is located inside the src/com/android/browser folder. Also available from the Google Git. This could ease the implementation in your browser. It would be unique with this feature !!!!
The AOSP browser was my favorite, faster and lighter than Chrome. However changes in the webview made it incompatible with Lollipop.

Tons of changes (see changelog link in first post), uplevelled to m59.0.3071.49
2017-05-19
Merged latest patches as seen in source log. Not much going on here!
I looked into the pie controls but the code from the AOSP browser is REALLY old and some of the things it needs to run don't even exist any more... it would mean re-writing a lot of code for the newer V8 engine, which is beyond me sadly.

[APP][4.0+][Snapdragon][CAF] Code Aurora's Chromium SWE Browser with auto-updater

This is a custom build of Code Aurora's Chromium for Snapdragon. This build aims to deploy the stock Chromium SWE with only few additions. For now the only additions to the browser are: custom icon, custom name, adblock, more search engines. I also wrote an updater app that will search for new builds once a day, and will notify if one is found.
Links to build and updater app:
Auto updater app
Auto updater app source code
Chromium SWE Builds
Update: F-Droid
The app is now available on F-Droid.
Please bear in mind that F-Droid builds its version of the app using its own keys for signing. This means that my build of the app isn't compatible with theirs, and if you want to switch from one to the other you'll need to uninstall first.
UPDATE: version 1.4.1
The auto updater app has been updated, you can download it from the link above (the link has been updated).
This update corrects a major bug in the app.
Version 1.4.1 changelog
This is going to be the last update for the auto-updater app. From now on you are going to receive only new Chromium SWE builds.
I'll release a new version of the auto-updater app only if bugs will be found or if i accept to add a new requested feature.
To report a bug you can open an issue on the github repo of the app (link above), for new features you can post on this thread.

[APP] - [TOOLS] - [4.3+] WiFi Password Viewer (V1.3) => Root, no ads and for free!

►►WiFi Password Viewer (Root, free and no ads)◄◄
►Introduction◄
First I was looking for a wifi password tool that I can check my WiFi passwords even before I did a full wipe.
Then I was pissed of from all the ads and apps that don't support Oreo (I like Oreo, because 100g Nougat is more expensive than 100g Oreo ).
Last but not least I decided to write a complete free ($$$ / ads) wifi password viewer and share it with you.
►How it works◄
File location Oreo: /data/misc/wifi/WifiConfigStore.xml
File location < Oreo: /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
WiFi Passwords Viewer is looking for the WiFi Config file in your system.
This file will be copied and read to / from your internal memory.
When your device has read that file it will be deleted immediately and the wifi information are displayed in the apps listview.
There is no internet permission needed for your security (you can share the wifi informations by mail, whatsapp or whatever with the share button)
►Anything else?◄
I am a dev-rookie so don't blame me - give me inputs
I am not a designer, I'd never paint a good looking picture and I never did any nice looking designs so don't blame me - give me inputs

I'm trying to make sense of their Roadmap, but we all know how those things work out... hmm
In 2018, we plan to release the system as an “installable ROM”
Well it's Sept., and I assumed based on the site; August 2018: /e/ OS beta (MVP) release with several web services (search, app store), maybe that's the ROM release...
Anyone have Telegram can check them out? I posted the Telegram channels on the original post.
If you read carefully, they will be selling devices built with the OS first, then after a trial period it will become public. It does not fully work just yet as a daily....

Still nice of you to post, always good to see independent development happening. Hopefully they get a public release out for users to try. ??

I really hope this goes good, I love what I'm seeing/reading.
Gaël Duval created Mandrake, I'm not sure I remember him for this, but I used Mandrake when it was around, it had quite the following...

Nice, oh and he also founded Ulteo too.
Well Gaël Duval has certainly done some things in the past, there is credibility here on that, so I really hope this is going to turn out great!
I can't wait to see this.
as long as I can flash via TWRP I will give it a spin

Well if it's made with the payload.bin there are several extractor apps for Windows & Linux.
In Linux I use extract_android_ota_payload;
https://github.com/cyxx/extract_android_ota_payload
Then you'll have your boot/system/vendor images and then you can fastboot flash them, which is nice in case of TWRP issues, or just wanting to fastboot flash...

hmm.. interesting. I can handle those payload.bin files..already have the extractor setup on my Mac.
Would still prefer TWRP flashable zips or just simple sideload zips.
Did it release?

At first I wasn't sure if this was a new OS from scratch, but it appears to be Android, and the info they have says;
Beta stage: forked from LineageOS 14.1
