HELP!!! LG G3 D850 permanent sim locked - AT&T LG G3

My IMEI became null due to flashing by LG Flash tool. So i repaired imei using QPST and RF_NV_Manager, but then my phone is carrier locked now. When i enter into network lock through code 2945#*850#, it displays "This phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked". So i either cannot unlock it through an unlock code. Is there any other way?

I have the same issue as i think entered codes multiple time. PHONE PERMANENTLY LOCKED..
i found no solution yet.. I think there is no easy method.
This is a great phone & I want to use it longer.
Any solutions anyone please?

can you get into dl mode still? if so try running lgup.rar then reflash lgd850 file from jun 19 2014. i resetted phone from 6.0 to kk. i just had to go through update installs to get back to current. if you already tried these steps...disregard. heres link explaining process (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64624353&postcount=3 )

Hi, when your phone said "permanently locked" it had network connection? because I have 2g and 3g but not LTE in my G3, and when i dial 2945*#850# the phone says that is permanently locked...

latest OTA has locked my phone, why??

after applying the t-mobile OTA, my phone is suddenly locked and asking for a 5-digit pin?? It only allows emergency calls, what gives??
Not heard of an OTA doing that, unless it's SIM-locked the phone (which would be a bit harsh)

Are you on T-Mobile US? Were you rooted before you did the update?

Shouldn't do that even if he was rooted. Strange. Have you simply called Tmous support?
Sure u dont entered your pin 3 times wrong?
If yes a 5digit puk is needed.... have a look for it on your contract where the sim card was taped on...
sry for my english
Mine isn't asking for a PIN but I just updated and checked the bootloader afterwards.
Above the regular stuff (where the S-Off tool normally puts their banner) is a "***LOCKED***" in pink. Wasn't there before.
SOO... Either this is prep for their unlock tool, or ???
Can always try a factory reset via the bootloader? I removed a pin off a phone from ebay by doing this (bit silly really as anyone can find it out with google!)
or......try unlocking via HTCDEV.com

[Q] Problems with Motorola Atrix 2

Bought a locked Motorola Atrix 2 on ebay. Unlocked the phone and got the unlock sucessful screen. No when i boot the phone, it directly goes into the emergency dialer screen. I can`t even go into the android setup screen. Is there a hard reset option for the Atrix 2?
You mean sim unlock?????
Hold both ends of volume rocker and power to get your menu with recovery as an option.
Yes, it`s SIM unlocked. Did the hard reset on the phone. Still it goes directly into the emergency dialer screen. I can`t even go into the home screen. Has the seller sent me a IMEI blocked phone?
when u saw the green android screen, press vol up/down together then u should be able to see the recovery option.

With your airtel sim in it should prompt you for the subsidy code or unlock code. If it isnt working you may not have the correct code.

It did not prompt me. I had to type #073887* to get the unlocking screen. I did enter a code bought off ebay. It did say unlock sucessful. But, instead of rebooting it seems to be stuck in the dialer screen.

Tried with and without the SIM card. It does go into the Android home screen for a flash and then is stuck on the Emergency dialer screen.
Hmmm that's interesting. I recently moved over to an Atrix 2. My old Atrix 4g was unlocked as well and I went back to it yesterday and it's behaving exactly the way your Atrix 2 is behaving. On the Emergency Screen with or without a SIM card.

[Q] Re-lock my Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 Network

Hi everyone,
A month ago I gave my phone to this person in a phone shop and asked him to root my phone, I was away shopping while he was going to root my phone and before he was going to root my phone, he was being an idiot and unlocked my phone network before starting to root it, it seriously made me angry.
So my question is does anyone know how to re-lock my s7500 network so I can keep my warranty.

What do you mean by relock and unlock network??
What exactly the problem is??
Are you not getting network???
If you are not getting Network the the problem is with IMEI number. The person whom you gave must have cleared EFS while flashing with Odin. EFS contains the IMEI number. Hence it should never be done.
You can do one thing if you have not installed CWM. You need is Stock Recovery and Stock Rom. Flash Stock Rom through Odin and then perform Factory Reset from Stock Recovery don't clear EFS. Now you can do a Factory Reset from Stock Recovery.
If again you donot get network with this then go to service center and tell them that you accidently you lost the network. Don't tell anything about root.

No what I am talking about is that this person has unlocked my phone so you can insert any sim you like without getting simlocked. i.e My phone sim was virgin media and my phone only use to accept virgin media sim card, but because this person has unlocked my phone without me even asking him, I can use any sim I want which is not what I would like to do because this voids my warranty

What is your point?? U want to root your phone, but u worried about warranty void?? Are u kidding or what? Once u rooted your phone your warranty automatically voids.. Unless u unroot it back by flash stock rom via odin..

If you flash Stock Rom you will be automatically unrooted. If you do a factory reset after flashing Stock Rom everything will get normal like you purchased phone just now.

BTW I am not relocking my phone right now because I just do not need to, i'll do it when I need to send it back for warranty. Not sure if this will work, but I think you can relock your phone with this software called simlock remote client installer, and I think you might need to pay for the premium software.
Heres the link http://www.simlockremoteserver.com/files/srs-unlock-installer.exe
And heres a video example to understand how to use it, I know the video is poor quality but its the only one i could find for relocking phones.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozT_H77aR8k
Say if there were some problems with my phones such as the audio was damaged or the screen pixels were damaged, would the service centers bother checking if it was unlocked of not???

Flashed different firmware on my phone, no mobile date...

I was having trouble bootloader unlocking my Telus locked Moto G, but I had seen somewhere that someone had sucess flashing a different firmware and then unlocking it. So I flashed the British Retail firmware and now I have no mobile network and it asks for an unlock code at each boot up. I've tried the Brazilian retail firmware to see if it would fix it but it didn't, pretty sure I need the Telus firmware.

I didn't say I didn't believe you.... When you say network lock when it says that is it a blank screen with a text box in the middle? Unless it really screwed up your modem cause when flashing other firmware it can really screw things up.

I have yet to find the Telus stock firmware. But what I've exsperinaced from other phones when the modem gets screwed up it messes with the efs and if it wasn't backed up there's no way to get it back. But in this case it's weird lol. Somehow your phone is locked to a network which I've never seen happen before.

Darn... Any idea if getting the unlock code would fix it so that I could use mobile network again?
Reflash stock and all will be OK, don't forget to wipe data. It happen to me a couple days ago.

The APN menu isn't very intuitive, you have to type in all the details then tap the three-dot-menu-button-thing on the top right and then tap 'Save'. Once you've done that, in the list of APNs you need to tap inside the little radio toggle along side the APN you just typed in on the list to select it and activate your settings.
Hope that helps.

Yes, very same problem, solved by flashing the stock telcel firmware (my carrier) also wiping data. It's a must in order to fix that. Otherwise you have no signal, home button don't work and power options are gone.

How to check if your Sprint n920p has domestic gsm unlock or not

Greetings,
I have unlocked my Note 5 a while ago and it all worked fine. After some flashing, however, my SIM wont be recognized anymore. Tried everything even reverting to STOCK ROM via Odin but the SIM just wont register. (The APN-Settings are still read correctly though so the Reader should be fine).
I now assume that the SIM Unlock somehow was lost during flashing? Is that possible? How can I check wether or not my device still has the unlock? Should I request unlock service again and if yes, where?
Greetings

I used idone apps to unlock mine. After flashing a note 7 rom. Mine locked up again. And idone team. Stated that my android id had changed. And they updated there system re applied the unlock and good to go. It has been known that some rom flashes will undo unlock. Idone cost $30 American. Little pricey but worth it
