I am presenting you the all new CM13 base 6.0.1 Marshmallow rom our Lenovo A706 [ALL LINKS ARE WORKING] [NO SURVEY] [Download links given at the end of this thread]
Follow the steps given below to upgrade :-
Step 1. Download and flash Philz Touch Recovery for Lenovo A706. [I used Rashr(available on Play Store) to flash the recovery]
Step 2. Connect your Lenovo A706 to your PC and copy the “A706_update_cm-13.0-20160427-UNOFFICIAL.zip” file to the SD card.
Step 3. Reboot your device in recovery by pressing Power+Volume UP+Down buttons.
Step 4. From the Recovery Menu clean cache and dalvik cache, then perform a factory reset. When it is completed go back in the recovery menu and navigate to "Choose zip from storage" (which is usually on the 2nd no.) then navigate to the location where you copied the ”A706_update_cm-13.0-20160427-UNOFFICIAL.zip” file. As soon as the installation is over, just reboot your Lenovo A706, and here you go, you’ve just upgraded it to the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow. :good: :good:

u can directly flash philz touch recovery and upgrade to marshmallow. its okay to upgrade from 4.1.2 to 6.0.1 but remember that its not official. its a custom rom

Everything is working except the front camera and after flashing gapps AOSP Keyboard is not working so you have to flash or install a new keyboard. if it works plz click thanks button...
some apps like youtube keep (FORCE CLOSE) how to fiz it?? and the root too. cuz some apps cant detect it .. need to flash supersu.zip too? thanks for replying>>

have you flashed the same gapps given above. if yes then you should update youtube to latest version cuz i didn't face any issues like that. and i think supersu is already installed in it and u need to update it from play store nd if it is not installed then dload and flash the zip file.
Here is my review, after flashing my A706:
1. No luck wih Contact app, cannot link it up with my google contact although already sign in to my google account via app or setting. So i got my contact list blank.
2. Bttery drained so fast, 100% to 60% in ONE hour without any heavy activities.
3. Struggling with root. re-root via Phillz recovery works.
4. Dont know why I have to intially sign in to each and every google app separately? This is odd.(not to mention point no. 1)
5. All google apps are updated to the latest version, but I always bugged by google play service error prompt every few seconds.
6. keyboard didnt works. Freeze the default then download other from google play works.
7. MAC address changed after flashing, re-register the new one to your shared wireless network.
8. Is there option to swap main storage like jelly bean? I couldnt find one in this marshmallow.
Always love the cyanogen works since my old custom gingerbread on my old stock froyo device. Would be great if the devs are continue their work to make this rom stable.

no problem of battery drain here..used update 2, but rom had some non-english words in some of its features..
just shifted to mix mod v1.0 and loving it..

Ya there is an issue in some cell phones about miui if you are using the miui I provided then use miui for s5501 or mmx120 version it will solve your problem but dont use miui for wiko rainbow

To restore imei you need to have busybox installed check that it has busybox installed or not and use latest version of MTK droid tools

I tried this method to install customer recovery in i9. But now my mobile isn't going into recovery. When I press both volume and power buttons it shows option to go into recovery and factory mode but then mobile just turns on if I press volume button or not. This is a stable rom with good user interface .
WARNING

Method of installing.

This ROM, is developed by dev on android latino org. So you can ask the dev, Does this ROM can be used on U23.
Most of system apps have disappeared, clock bluetooth and others any reasom why ?

Well, Installing custom ROM will remove official features like cloud storage, device account, system data, and user data.
but is it possible to install them again once a custom rom is applied? because i use huawei back up to save all my data.

I think huawei backup will not work properly, because Huawei system use huaweisdk and sync data to account. If you do that, the apps will force close, because Not all custom ROM have same process. Example, you are installing huawei backup, This mean the huawei backup cant work properly(force close) or else. You need a SDK to run huawei system apps. (Like MIUI from Xiaomi)

If you want to try please backup your data and system. And Try to install huawei backup. if the apps force close. You can go back to your previous ROM

not really sure ur question .i'm newbie on this.what i do is off my phone and push volume up and power button to enter recovery mode.so there was i clean data and try to flash this zip.so i got problem there while to update from SD.
did i do wrong?should i do flashtool on PC instead?ty for reply :good:

Before trying to install this ROM, you must follow the order first.
1. Unlock Bootloader
2. Installing Philz/CWM/TWRP
3. Do wipe
4. Install the ROM, SuperSU, and other stuff
5. Reboot system
6. Wait 5-10 minutes
7. Enjoy

Hello, I will try to be very fast & clear with this:
It's a custom 8.0 Oreo rom works with Pie bootloader (U6CSGD) , thanks to @yash92duster for his amazing work.
So how? PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE TOPIC FIRST!!
1- Installed TWRP from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...cross-device-development/twrp-exynos-t3763464 (DO AN EFS BACKUP WITH TWRP JUST INCASE)
2- Installed TeamExyKings' LightRom from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ross-device-development/rom-lightrom-t3770243
3- I just downloaded the LightRom (Not AddOns) and flashed it wia TWRP (Read Step 4 before installing!).
Installation instructions from topic:
*In TWRP Recovery Format The Following:
--"Internal, System, Dalvik/ART, Cache"
*Flash ROM Zip
*Reboot And Enjoy The ROM
*** It May Take A While For ROM to Boot, So wait patiently ***
YOU CAN MOVE THE ROM TO DEVICE AFTER FORMAT OR YOU CAN SIMPLY INSTALL FROM EXT SD CARD
4- Instal TTS if you want to add accessibility services such as (Bixby remapper/Navigation bar gestures)
- If you choose anything about bixby remapping while installing the rom you can't change it after installing even with remapper (or Idk how )
- Choose Samsung keyboard if you want to use UPSM.
- I Chose TGB kernel and have no idea about the stock kernel and how it works but TGB works without problems.
- Choose ''Netflix fix' 'if you want to use Netflix. Then, install this version: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/netflix-inc/netflix/netflix-6-26-1-build-15-31696-release/

He's using the Exynos version. The Exynos variant isn't bootloader locked, only U.S. Snapdragon variants.

Well, first of all: ''do this at your own risk, your warranty will be voided! and you wont be able to use Samsung pay, Samsung Pass, Knox, Secure Folder (I think there are some ways for this but dont know how)''.
1- BACKUP ALL YOUR FILES (PHOTOS, DOCUMENTS) AND BACKUP THINGS LIKE WHATSAPP TO GOOGLE DRIVE! I MEAN BACKUP EVERYTHING! Because everything in your phone will be deleted!
2- Download this ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ross-device-development/rom-lightrom-t3770243 or just download from this link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117939052 (Tell me if it's slow, I will try to upload it to my Google Drive)
2- Install TWRP from here but remember to read all steps BEFORE YOU START!! https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...cross-device-development/twrp-exynos-t3763464
3- Once you installed TWRP turn off your phone and reboot into TWRP by pressing [VOLUME UP] + [BIXBY] + [POWER].
4- Select "Keep /system RO" as usual.
5- Go to "Wipe" menu of TWRP -> Advanced Wipe. Select ''Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage, Cache'' and Wipe.
6- Connect your phone to PC and copy the ROM to internal storage (similar to how you transfer files when in system).
7- After copying the ROM to your phone, from TWRP go back to main menu then go to ''Install'' and flash your ROM.
8- Once you press Install Zip, Aroma Installer will be started I mentioned things I did in the post you can check them.
If you didn't get any part feel free to ask and mention which part yo didn't understand or you couldn't do it, from here or DM, wont matter.

I'm not sure but it's better to do a clean install. You can give it a try but I don't recommend it.
