Samsung Galaxy Edge7 - General Topics

Hi there,
I purchased this phone from this geezer. Samsung galaxy s7 edge.
After 3 months the phone is blocked and this guy wint answer my calls now.
I got in touch with the carrier they said insurance have been claimed and this phone is good for nothin.
I spoke to many shops here and the only solution is either send the phone to a different country or change the imei.
I love this phone therefore just wondering how can we change the imei?
Thanks for your help.

Changing the IMEI number is illegal, which is against our forum rules:

Don't post copyrighted materials or do other things which will obviously lead to legal trouble. If you wouldn't do it on your own homepage, you probably shouldn't do it here either. This does not mean that we agree with everything that the software piracy lobby try to impose on us. It simply means that you cannot break any laws here, since we'll end up dealing with the legal hassle caused by you. IMEI Changing

Hello everyone,
Recently my home country issue a statement that all devices coming from outside of the country will be blocked over the network.
and they are requesting half the price of the mobile phone so they will unblock it.
I have some old phone and I want to swipe their IMEI's with the new phones I have, as the old ones are working before that statement issued and they can continue to work with no problems.
Please i need the steps to change IMEI number for {Mod edit}.

As the change or edit of IMEI's is illegal in quite a few countries, XDA doesn't accept any discussion of or support to change or edit an IMEI.

Question [CLOSED]I bought a G Stylus 5G and it is locked to Cricket. Is there any way to unlock the network?

I went to one of those code websites and they quoted $95, which is out of my reach at the moment. Is there perhaps a way to d it myself? I am comfortable rooting and flashing roms so I'm sure I can handle it, I just don't know what to do.

The person I purchased it from told me it was network unlocked. I did not find out it was not unlocked until I inserted my sim into it after it was delivered.
If I had the money to pay it off I would not be here asking if there's a chance this can be done.
{Mod edit}
I have a bit of experience with this given I have a Cricket model and I was going to sell it on eBay. Cricket themselves told me that the DEVICE itself is locked to the purchasers ACCOUNT until 6 months of service has been paid for. After which the network can be unlocked and the device sold to anyone. They told me the device wouldn't function for another Cricket account even if I wanted to just give it away to a friend. I'm not sure a code is really going to solve anything, given it sounds more like an IMEI lock within Cricket's database, and only once prereqs are met will they lift those restrictions.
Take this with a huge grain of salt, of course. Half the time I'm not sure Cricket's support has a clue what they're talking about. All I know is, tons of people are scooping them up for $49.99 from their website as "new customers" and then immediately trying to sell them.
To anyone else wanting to pick up one of these second hand, the safest way is to make sure it's the 6GB 256GB model. These aren't sold at any carrier, and are fully unlocked directly from Motorola. Picked one up myself a few weeks ago for slightly under $200.

[CLOSEED] Imei Change

I think most of us now know that the Sprint lg v50 is pretty much black balled in the US which I believe is because of the imei range assigned to this model. I was just wondering if anyone has consider changing imei on the lmv450pm to some other model?

Question [CLOSED]Is there any possible way to repair IMEI on s22 ultra live demo unit?

I got a s22u ldu on idlefish, but it's IMEI is a bunch of 0. I tried flash other csc and third party rom, none of them work.
yes, only to replace mainboard
buy broken screen phone on Ebay, take mainboard and replace it
I remember when I buy s6 Edge and I play rooted all my Samsung phones (now I stop to play root) and I lost the imei but I pay on service phones and fixed, but I can tell you, I pay 100 euro, that s6 edge cost 1200 euro

But I find a website saying they can repair ldu models behind s21series(included). So s22 series is seem to be unlockable.
Hey, Is there an website to fix the problem with s22 ultra 5g IMEI a bounch of '0'?
Can I do this via internet (Without going phisically or to send the phone)?
If this cost up to 100E, it is ok.
Yes it's possible, but expensive

Thread has been closed. We do not accept discussion of or in support for paid services respectively IMEI changes or edits. A live demo unit obviously has no IMEI i.e. you can't call it to repair its IMEI.

[CLOSED] Best mobile for root and IMEI change.

Hi,
can anybody tell me which mobiles are the easiest to root and the IMEI number is possible to change after root? I will be in a country for 3-6 months from my internship and to use an imported mobile the tax is almost 325$ on a 500$ mobile. So, I was thinking if I could change the IMEI to some low-cost mobile and use for this time period.
Thanks in advance

Changing IMEI for whatever reason is illegal in atleast some countries. XDA being an international forum can not afford to get into legal hassles due to users seeking advice on changing IMEI or other users providing help in that. Hence we have been closing such threads consistently and your thread has been closed for that reason. Please also read Rule 9:
