I have a s6 live demo g920x so that then I was trying to get out of demo mode trying to install a new firmware but now so is the emergency recovery one with the blue screen so I tried to install but I could not anyone help me get the recovery mode and install a firmware
PS: I also tried that way to modify excluding 3 firmware bin with Cygwin every time I try to modify appears was not found in file-tar
exiting with failure due to previous errors status
even being in the right folder

Hi there,
I have a galaxy s6 SMG920F,
i rooted my device when i first purchased, I then decided i wanted to go back to stock so i could update software,
I downloaded a stock rom and proceeded to flash through Odin. v3.10 it got to the end and failed,
And now ii am stuck on a green screen that reads, An error has occurred while updating the software.
Ue the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software.
I have doen this twicem and get this error message, Failed to update due to an error. DO you want to run emergency software recover?......You must enter the recovery code from another pc. Please remember the recovery code.
I can still get on download mode, but apart fro that nothing, Including recovery mode vol up home and power.
Please help XDA, i hope i dont have a paperweight!

First my phone was rooted before this but I tried to install XPOSED but it didint work it had me doing a bootloop so i thought about wiping my phone and didint think my OS would get erased now my phone just stays at the SAMSUNG GALAXY S6 screen I installed TWRP but no luck there people told me to install that but no luck I hope I can get some help ive tried to install stock firmware with odin but it keeps saying FAIL please help!

Here are official firmwares for your device. Boot your device into download mode and connect your phone, it should show up in Odin, then select the file you downloaded from sammobile and flash it from there. If you get any errors, please post the log here and I'll take a look at it.

have spent all morning searching this forum with plentiful ideas but cant seem to fix the issues
My tablet had been lying dormant for about a month
went to charge it this morning and it was giving me a
Custom binary blocked by frp lock
After a quick search found some solutions about re flash etc etc
did my thing in odin only for it to fail
The problem next was i can no longer get in to download mode because im getting a blue screen saying
An error occured whilst updating the sfotware
use emergency recov function in smart switch
so downloaded smartch switch and there is no recovery option available to me the tab is not appearing in the current version
So i downloaded an older versio
the tab became avaialble but when searching my device and serial number, it said it is not supported with this device and to contact the service centre??
any suggestions on a fix
feel like im stuck where i can not even get in to download mode to try and reinstall a stock build or anything

Im having a very tedious problem with my galaxy s7 model G930P
So before flashing this combination firmware : https://samsungcombinationfile.com/samsung-sm-g930p
I Flashed the one at the very top
Its file name is VZW_FA60_G930PVPU7ARI1
the problem is I forgot to check what current version my stock firmware is before flashing
the combination firmware itself doesnt give me any substantial info, and all that download mode is giving me is a model name : G930V (Which im sure is incorrect because it literally says G930P engraved on the back of the phone) and it says its B7 (Binary 7???)
Im pretty sure my stock firmware was android 7
Now what ive been doing is basically going through all the android 7 stock firmwares for my model and trying to flash them but one of two things happen
1.I Get an SW REV CHK error saying Fused 7 > Binary 6 or 5 or 4 it depends
2.Download mode disappears and phone boots into a UPLOAD MODE ERROR screen with the green android in the center and some text at the top
I Have no idea how to fix this, any help at all is greatly appreciated!
Will post pictures of download mode, and the upload mode error when the phone is charged

Hello there, I am already more than 3 days trying to download stock firmware for my phone, every day another problem, on the beginning it was always fail while trying with Odin, then I was try another firmware it was downloaded but stucked on update 32%.i understand it can be wrong firmware, I tried other methods, I was add pit for Samsung galaxy s6 edge G925F. Downloaded but didn't help, I tried another firmware for other region it was downloaded, even no fail, but stucked on erasing. I tried recovery mode (volume up-home-power) cant access it. Today I try again, all the time stuck on Initialization.
Note I tried different Odin version.
USB on laptop there's two, 2.0 and 3.0(blue)
The time it was succeed without fail it was on the black USB 2.0
So now even completely can't start to download firmware.
Also I was try to download Twrp after it was nearly succeeded and stucked on erasing, hoping that I can access recovery mode to wipe everything, but Twrp stucked on logo.
After all that I can't do nothing.
I still can access downloading mode and phone stuck on logo if I put it on the charge.
I hope I was give right and enough informations to help me solve the issue.
I appreciate any help

You should identify the exact device model.
Then check to download the stock Samsung firmware for this model.
