Hi there, Can anyone brief me more about LG H900 unlocked? - AT&T LG V10

Hi there, Can anyone brief me more about LG H900 unlocked? I have a thought of buying that but not really sure if it can work in my country in all aspect. I am most worry about the original firmware bcoz my last purchased from other country was bad, I can't use the google apps especially playstore at all, only gmail but also cannot sync. Can anyone help me please? tq ???

Currently, the lg v10 h900 is locked with Android 6.0
The only way to unlock it (kinda), is to get one with 5.0 or 5.1. There is currently no way to root or even downgrade or flash a v10 h900 thats running 6.0. But its is a very fast phone and very durable with its military grade design and materials (but not indestructible!). Any other questions?

Thank you. Im jz afraid that some apps might cannot work in my country if i bought the international version. Thats the actual worry.

If you get the international version, you may not have unlock problems, and if you can get root, your country wont be a problem. Get a modded playstore, or change your phones country. People have been doing that for a while now when their country would block certain content.

Aaight roger that. Thank you so much

Which model/carrier do you have?
I doubt it but the T-Mobile/MetroPCS version is more likely to get it than the other versions (better specs), IF (and that is a BIG IF) we do get it.
Again, I highly doubt it because it had its one update. I hope they surprise me though.

Lg v10 h900 downgrade????

Hello I have an LG V10 H900 (AT&T) and I want to downgrade my device to Lollipop (5.0) is there anyway possible?
I never backed up device when I was on Android 5.0. I have LGUP and ADB Fastboot, but I don't have the kdz or tot and dll file for android 5.0 for the LG V10 H900 (AT&T Version). Could someone please help me downgrade my Android smart phone to 5.0? I'd much appreciate.

What you're asking for cannot be done since it will brick your phone. Completely. Once any of us upgraded to MM, we were screwed. So, at this point, we're stuck on MM, with no development because of the locked bootloader, and it is very unlikely that att will upgrade us to Nougat.
Stick with very stock MM or go phone shopping in December.

I have the same proble, what did you do?
Does the rootedH900TOT or rootedsystemh900.tot not work if you're already on marshmallow? Both of the files are on xda. Also if I try to flash an earlier version of marshmallow will it brick the phone? Or does brick only happen if you try to flash a major OS? like 6.0 -> 5.1? Thanks

HuaWei Watch 2 2018 version DLxxE English version or international rom help

Hello,
Just got this watch here in China, everything is in Chinese (ofcourse) but i find it really hard to use this way, i asked Huawei and they claim that this version (DLXXE) doesnt have an international rom - is this true ?
Again - its not the Pro version, its the 2018 version
owde.180707.001.H1
If someone please direct me to an international rom it would be really appreciated - at the same time, if someone know what will i be missing if i switch to this version ? would i be able to use Wechat pay/Alipay still ?
Thank you

I have the normal sport watch and yours LTE version. Before buying the watch in China i had confirmed with many Huawei stores that watch can install English OS but alas after buying the watch it couldnt be done via the chinese OS. You have to unlock the bootloader then install the English rom then close the bootloader again. Once on English rom you can update to the latest OS. Instructions are there in the forum. However i got lazy after years of rooting and hacking and being on IOS mostly and took the help of Sunny mention below. He will charge a fee and remotely installed the English OS.
PS. Dm me for alipay apk which i downloaded from some chinese website its an earlier version but works. It works beautifully from phone for paying with English. Care to tell how you got the wechat pay on the phone? While i had the Chinese rom for a day i cant remember i had wechat pay installed then.
Thank you for your answer - but to confirm, you have the version of the watch with the SIM slot ? this version im talking about is the Esim version and i suspect this is the reason why no int ROM was made for it, as it would render the Esim useless.
Do you think that if i try to put the rom as you suggest it would work on this watch as well?

I am not sure if there is an Esim English version. So yes if there is no English E-sim version then could be an issue.
My bad i didnt realise that wasnt the case. My watch is normal BT watch.
I am not sure if it would be advisable to install a rom which is not for your watch and even if it does work then probably you wont have the E-sim function. Just my guess. Sorry if my reply didnt help you further. Wearos scene in China and worldwide is a mess. I cant install the huawei market app on my phone or cant find 1 apk for it.

Mod Edit
Hi, can you share rom for me??

Chinese OnePlus 7 Pro- get Google, flash other ROM

I live in China so currently I can only buy this phone customized for China- no Google apps and only some local crappy app stores.
I know it's possible to install Google services/store etc. on Chinese phones, but would it be possible to just flash some stock "Western" ROM on it?
Are there any stock ROMs from OnePlus available for international versions?
How can I tell if the phone I'd be buying here is "flashable"- how can I check it at the store ?
There are all 3 versions available here (6/8/12GB ram)
Chinese version uses hytrogen OS, you can try flash oxygen OS(stock os on international version)through "local upgrade" .
Some personal experience:
I bought Chinese version too and I directly flashed zip in this thread through local upgrade, the OS changed to Oxygen OS as expected but Google play store somehow wasn't installed, so I factory reseted my phone, then everything works fine now.
Note: Chinese version got a system update after it was released if you performed that upgrade you may not able to flash oxygen os because version number(9.5.4) is higher on hytrogen os than on oxygen os(9.5.3).
Note 2: This thread provide 9.5.4 oxygen os now so if you already performed upgrade on hytrogen os you can try flash 9.5.4 oxgyen os.
Hi, I'd like to hop on this thread to ask a similar question.
So right now I'm in China and will stay for a few weeks. I've been wanting to get my habds on a 7 pro since I learned about it, and I'll be residing in S.Korea for the foreseeable future.
I have an option to purchase the device from the US official website and have an agency deliver it to me at my Korean address (I'm assuming the US version retails as the global version GM1917 I believe?). All in all it'll cost around $790.
Or I can purchase the cheaper, chinese version while I'm here and install the Oxygen OS on it as I'm told it's a rather simple procedure for Oneplus phones. I've never tried any sort of unlocking/bootloader/flash/custom rom stuff so I'm not entirely familiar with all this but it seems doable if i tread carefully.
The question that stands however, is whether or not there will be any difference at all between the two. I believe the Chinese model is named GM1910, I'm assuming there are some hardware differences like band support, but then again I can't find a clear answer on this. I've also heard that flashing the OOS might mean it wont be google play digital certified (not entirely sure if i got the name right or what it does) and I might encounter widevine issues. But then again I've seen people mention the hardware is the same so as long as I convert the OS it should work like a breeze as if it was the global version.
I'd appreciate any help and guidance in this matter. Also by flashing the OS would that mean I'd have to manually apply OTA patches whenever they're released? I'm not too concerned on warranty issues but if you guys have anything crucial I should keep in mind about it I'd be grateful for the help.
Thanks in advance.

All version sold in china is "flashable", just pick up the specs/color you prefered.
For the switching the system from HOS(Chinese version) to OOS(global version), it's simple:
1. flash the newest Oxygen OS(GM21AA, for global version) through system update;
2. reboot to recovery;
3. wipe all data of your phone
Done.

Widevine downgrading(L1 -> L3) happened when you unlock the bootloader. If you just get an chinese version OP7P, switching system from HOS to OOS, it's ok to do it through system update, while maintaining the widevine level.
After switching to OOS 9.5.3, my chinese version OP7P works pretty fine with all google service(except google pay, no environment to test it)

I'm not sure if there are any hardware difference between Chinese model and other model, but I'm sure Google play is still certified on Chinese model after flashing OOS. Widevine level won't change as long as you don't unlock bootloader and you won't need to unlock bootloader if you only want to flash OOS.
I used to have a Chinese version OnePlus 5, I flashed OOS on it and everything works pretty well for two years, OTA always works. I assume everything is the same on OnePlus 7 pro.

Hey, thanks for the reply! for some reason I can't quote the edited latter part of your post.
It's great to know its as simple as you said. But like I mentioned I'm quite new to all this so I hope you're fine that your answer also raised some questions for me.
So if there's no influence on widevine, why would people go the extra effort to unlock the bootloader? Isn't it primarily to flash a fresh ROM which would mean the end goal is basically the same is it not? Would my OS converted phone be any different to that of a bootloader unlocked one in regards to performing identical as a global version 7 pro?
Thanks so much for the help!

People unlock bootloader because they want to root their phone or flash third-party ROM. Bootloader has to be unlocked if you want to flash anything other than stock ROM or other stock things.

Glad I can help.
If you're in China, I don't think you need to tweak anything to use VoLTE no matter which OS you're using (Hytrogen OS or Oxygen OS), there are three main telecom operators in China: CMCC, China Net and China Unicom.
CMCC already support VoLTE so if you're using CMCC's service your phone will enable VoLTE automatically once you plug in the SIM card and detected signal.
China Net added support for VoLTE very recently, so VoLTE should be automatically enabled too once you plug in a China Net's SIM card, but I'm not sure about this because I'm not using any China Net's service.
China Unicom does not support VoLTE until June 1st 2019, you won't be able to use VoLTE till then in any method if you are using China Unicom's service (Google Fi and some international roaming use China Unicom's service so no VoLTE for Google Fi and those roaming yet)
Dual VoLTE with dual SIM should work too, I'm using CMCC and China Unicom dual sim and VoLTE icon on my status bar have a "1" next to it(VoLTE1), I think there will be a VoLTE2 after China Unicom support VoLTE.
I know little about these Telecom operators things outside of China, but I think Oxygen OS support most country's VoLTE service as long as their Telecom operators support VoLTE.
I'm new here, my op7 pro is on the way to me, I'm in China too, so I should unbox it, do not upgrade, download the oxygen os and flash it directly? Than I'll get a "global version" op 7 pro, will it work?

Question T-mobile locked to debrand and unlock it SM-S908U

Hi guys,
I just bought a Galaxy S22 and it's locked and seems like can't be unlocked by T-Mobile, I'd like to flash it with a stock ROM and I'm wondering if that's enough to get the phone unlocked, I don't want to root it.
I've been searching and I saw a couple of firmware but not sure if they are up to date and how is the process to flash the phone.
I'd like to flash it using a MacBook Pro.
baseband is
S908USQU2CWCE
S908U - Galaxy model
SQ - Snapdragon
U - update
2 - Bootloader version 2?
CWCE - what's this?
any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You cannot defeat a carrier lock by simply flashing a different CSC. There are online services available that can do this for a fee. Due to XDA's policy on paid content/services, I cannot recommend a specific service.
If you use firmware for a different model, such as S908B, you could render your device inoperable.
As for flashing firmware, there is already an existing thread on this. Please search before posting.

First, why can it not be unlocked? Did you buy it outright or do you still owe payments on it? If paid off, it should be able to be unlocked.
And check the How to Guides tabs for instructions on flashing and so on. I keep my device stock all the way, other than the launcher and icons.
