Hi all
I'm pretty new about unlocked phone.
Tried to search on google about this situation but didn't found any anwser.
I just bought an Moto Droid 2 global and it's unlock to be able to use in canada and if I root the phone will I loose the unlock feature of the phone or when the phone is unlock is permanent?
thanks
Paco
Phone unlock is permanent. You can root/SBF/do whatever you want - it will stay unlocked.
Hi. i m a little confused about phone unlocking. i m on Three UK with a HTC phone which is carrier locked. so no other sim is gonna be used on that phone. if i unlock the boot loader via HTCdev and after that i install/flash a custom rom, will it stay locked? even after flashing another ROM? and can someone tell me how the carriers put a lock on their devices?
thank u.
This device has been sim locked to AT&T, so I've had to purchase an unlock code from "Unlockcode247.com", while it unlocks the latest LG G2 firmware just fine, it's not permanent. Other roms which request this code, reject it, despite having the same IMEI. The G3 ports don't even prompt for a code.
So I'm stuck with stock LG G2 software, which leaves much to be desired and isn't enough.
The software version is: D80020y
How can I somehow make it unlock permanently, if not, force invoke the sim unlocking dialogue.
Thanks.
Hey guys is there is still no way to unlock this devices ?
unlock you mean sim yes pay a service or get a box is only way
I got rid of the network lock with the help of TMBKiller on ebay. It worked like a charm on one of my phones that reverted to a locked state after I unlocked its bootloader (bootloader unlocked fine, but network lock would up getting set).
Unlocking the bootloader is really easy for these. Installing TWRP and Root is a little more challenging, but also possible.
So yea I have an idea on bootloader unlocking the xt1920dl Tracfone model (nora_trac)
So my idea is to try bootloader unlock keys from other models (that you own bc I only have nora_trac)
And also I tried unlocking the bootloader with the code 611611 and it said it was successfull it factory reset the phone but it still says
Oem_locked so I think its actually unlocked but I have no way of testing it
Ok bye
did you figure it out because I have the same phone and same problom
same problem same phone where did you put the 611611 code in at?
There are no exploits or user-end mods capable of unlocking a Moto bootloader that is not officially supported for oem unlocking. If you have a Verizon, Cricket or TracFone branded Moto E5 variant, it's simply an exercise in futility to try unlocking the bootloader.
