Call T-Mobile
If the phone is no longer under contract (the old owner finished out the contract, or the phone was bought full price, or whatever) they are pretty helpful with unlocking them, at least in the USA.
agreed. call the carrier and if your nice and have been with the carrier long enough they usually can help you out.

Unlock Moto G via code?

Hi everyone, I just bought a Moto G from Telus in Canada and I need to unlock it to use in my home country (Philippines). Can anyone recommend a good, reputable supplier of unlock codes so that I can get it sorted out? Are these legitimate, or are they scams?
Also, let me know if there are better avenues through which I can get this unlocked.
Thanks!

I bought my unlock code from Cellunlokcer.net. I successfully unlocked my phone with the supplied code.
Use a unlocker service. Won't cost much and its safe since news laws passed. Just be sure to use a reputable service.

Network locked galaxy s7

Hello,
I recently bought a galaxy s7 (SM-G930F). I bought it through internet shop in czech republic, however it seems that I have an Irish distribution from Three.ie operator. (It has some three.ie bloatware). Now when I inserted my czech sim into it, it asks for a pin code to unlock the phone from network, which I don't know of course(Sim network unlock pin). I called samsung support in CZ and I also contacted a seller who sold it to me. Both promised to help, but no result yet.
In the meantime I wanted to ask: 1) There are lot of services on the net, who offer those codes for some fee. How do they obtain them? Do they call to carriers?
2) Is there any root/brutforce way to unlock the phone?
3) Is there anyone up here with the same situation? How did you solve it?
Thanks,
Dmitry.
Some buy codes fr9m operators in bulk at dirt cheap rates and sell it and some use third party softwares to generate them.

Hi, i haven't been in the same situation but i remember that "PhoneBuff" and "SuperSaf TV" YouTube channels have videos on how to unlock Galaxy S7. Both recommend https://www.unlockriver.com (cost is $45).

Thanks for the reply,
however as for me any attempt to sell unlock code by 3rd party seems to be a fraud. And I don't want to deal with fraudsters unless it's inevitable. I am still waiting for samsung or my seller reply.
Thanks,
Dmitry.
I bought my phone as well on the net from Czech Republic as well, but mine was free, and live in the UK,so the seller should unlock it for you free of charge, don't see why all the fuss that seller is doing, you were supposed to buy a phone unlocked, didn't you?
