How to update incremental update H60-L12

Hi. I already upgrade my H60-L12 from 5.1.1 B535 to B807 Emui 4,1 Mashmallow.
But right now, i missing local update and because of that i cannot incremental update the latest. I try the SD card upgrade but the error i get.
My phone no root or unlock bootloader. Can somebody tell me or guide me how to bring back the local update (HwOUC) and also how to root and unlock my boot loader. I tried the unlock bootloader from cn.huawei but get error that tell my account not access HiCloud more than 14 days.
Hope can somebody can guide me or help me for this issue.

Install the apk...

If you can't install the apk you must root your phone and put the folder into
Device/system/app
Then reboot your phone and install the stock recovery and unroot and install the update.zip that you want

If you can't install the apk you must root your phone and put the folder into
Device/system/app
Then reboot your phone and install the stock recovery and unroot and install the update.zip that you want

Try but get the error.. it said application not installed

guys , i made a major issue with my phone by deleting EVERYTHING in it , all left is twrp
anyway i can go through to flash stock rom ? i tried everything i found in this forum but in vain ,

Or dload method with C636 firmware in your SD card. Good luck

in my opinion there is no problem and you can revert to your favorite firmware using the rebrand method.

thanks for help ,,,, i tried doing so but my phone stuck on 5% with fail installing message
i`m heading to huawei multi tool and it worked fine , installed basic system C185B172 but not the whole files , it seems cust.img not found in mate 9 update.app
after starting the mate , my pc recognize it as (generic a1 )
can anyone thankfully help me where can i find cust.img?

1.first restore oem info (c636) via twrp.
2.Done dload(c636)

Hello all, i need help
I have honor 8 FRD-L09, unlock bootloader, install twrp - with this tutorial https://www.xda-developers.com/honor-8-root-twrp-and-xposed/ . . I want to make phone like brand new - Stock firmware, stock bootloader. Can somebody tell me step by step how to do it?
I saw this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/problem-frd-l09-t3596449 but i dont know if it do what i want.

Use the dload method to flash an EMUI 5.X ROM, if it doesn't accept the upgrade use the rollback package and then flash an EMUI 4.X ROM, then update via OTA updates

A more convenient way would be to flash the stock recovery that match with your current rom and then relock your bootloader with fastboot command

mate 8 no os bootloader relocked frp lock!

im stuck now in Erecovery no os and the boot loader is relocked frp also locked.
i can reach fastboot mode
what i tryed:
1 skt tool any command is failed and not allowed and italian knife with same thing
2 adb fasboot manual command same thing
3 sd card dload same thing 5% and failed
dc unlocker and hcu i cant buy a cridet because i live in sudan with no any online card no paypal no any thing

try this : fastboot getvar rescue_version
it will tell you which version you should use in dload
or this : fastboot getvar rescue_phoneinfo
I'm sorry, not at home to try them right now.

With relocked Bootloader/Frp will fastboot not work.
Which Mate 8 Version and Firmware on it?
You need the right downgrade Package,this will work

Extract the Zipfile and copy the UPDATE.APP in dload Folder of your MicroSd.
Power off the Phone and wait 5-10 sec.
Press and hold the three Buttons Vol- Vol+ and Power Button at same Time,you see the Update and wait up the Finish.
Next Download MM Firmware from here

Extract the File and copy in MicroSd in dload Folder.

note: when i run or restart me mate its vibrate one times now its 2 vibrate

Thank u but my phone is totally dead
Now its work and methods I use is :
1.Flash frp with any rom useing eft flasher with dongle
2. Now dload is live again so sd card rollback c900b500
3. Sd card b180
4. Now I can recive ota updates

Help required - All customs roms for Honor 8 are installing but reboot gets stuck.

Hi there I was hoping some here could help me with my problem. I have tried several ROMS from this site for my Honor 8 frd-l09 and using twrp 3.1.1.1 Karin edition. I am able to install Lineage 14.1 and after restart it says booting up and then a few seconds later the phone shuts down as if its an incorrect rom. I have the same issue with Carbon rom and others.
I have twrp loaded into the recovery and then format and install the rom without failure barring the stock roms I get an error 7. The install completes fine and I reboot. It starts up and gets stuck on booting. 3 days and 20 hours to get the same results over and over. I'm losing my sanity.
So for now I have given up until I can get some help.

Hi ! If I were you :
- Download the lastest firmware for FirmwareFinder site (check the XML file of what you want on FF and check if this is the RIGHT firmware you need)
- Use TWRP but if I remember only the P9 lite 0.4 version works with the latest firmware
- Use and follow instructions from this thread using HuRuUpdater : https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279
- Wow your now on Stock firmware
- If you want an OpenKirin ROM, visite openkirin.net and follows intructions. Do NOT use TWRP with OpenKirin ROMs

Yes thank you very much for responding. I was actually just busy trying to do it now and couldn't come right trying the HuRUpdate method I followed it from huaweidevices.com "How to install official ROM.." but halfway through the install in twrp it was saying the 3 zip files were not in the folder and after reboot it hung on the logo. I'm going to try again when I have time tomorrow and I will get back to you I am probably doing something wrong.

Hi thanks I am trying hurUpdate and I have run into 2 problems. I am not sure if Ineed to rename the files to match as they are not matching file names as to what instruction give and whats available on Firwarefinder. example update_full_FRD-L09_hw_eu.zip in order for install to find had to remane to update_all_hw.zip. Install runs and after reboot stuck because I am taking chances with the version number of phone. I know it is frd-l09. I cant find this if Im soft bricked?
Anything else I am doing wrong I am not sure

There was only 3 EU versions of frd-l09 I could try under firmware finder and none of them worked for my honor 8. Question why is there so little roms in the firmware finder and how do I get to download others as there is more right? I'm thinking I got to try more versions or have I tried the correct ones already and I have other problems?

I am installing form twrp using hurupdate and was wondering if I should try using EMUI instead?

Well, you need to rename the files as indicated in HuRuUpdater thread. There is public, all and region. If I understand, you were origanally under EMUI 8 (Oreo), so the latest firmware for FRD-L09 is B562 (the one I am using). Download these 3 and it will normally work.

Then after renaming, download HuRuUpdater0.4.zip. Put the four files into the same directory on a SD card. Go to TWRP (a version of TWRP must work) and flash HuRupdater

HuRuUpdater works ONLY with TWRP.
