So here's the thing. I accidentally put Sphinx Rom on my D850. The rom is only for D855. Now my mic and headset do not work. I have tried to flash back to stock rom, but it won't let me since it believes my phone is an D855 now. Anyone have any ideas?

This is just a thought, but maybe you could check your build.prop and compare it to that of an untouched D850 and mirror that on your device / look for any differences. I have used this trick to fool certain apps/etc to install by making them think one device was another device, for example, installing tablet only games on a phone. I am not sure if this would remedy your situation and allow you to return to stock, especially with our current bootloader situation making it all the more difficult.
I guess one other option would be to get it replaced under warranty, without being "untruthful" to your carrier of course... Just play dumb
Just food for thought like I said, and your mileage may vary.
Maybe others can chime in and add some other thoughts.

All, correct me if I am wrong but I believe that the D855 is the international version, while the D851 is the T-Mobile version.
OP said that the ROM was only for D855.
Thoughts?
The title specifies a d850 not a d851. The d850 has a locked bootloader therefor you cannot install a custom recovery let alone a rom. I dont care if the rom was a d855 or d851 or for the d850.

OK I'm confused, why are you even talking about a d851 at all? The 2 devices that the OP listed was a D850 and D855. We all all aware of the differences of the devices that is why we are questioning how he flashed anything on the D850 in the first place

He didn't. It's virtually impossibly without unlocked boot loader and custom recovery. If he had it would have rendered it unbootable.

From what I can determine, there is no KDZ file for the LG-D725 (G3 Vigor AT&T) anywhere TO be found, I am going to ask LG via my developer support if I can obtain a firmware flash for this model.

Do not try it even if tot or kdz is available for that..
H950 has qfuse set and anything that is qfuse<1 ie 0 will hard brick the device..
I just hope that there will be some exploit that can give us custom recovery and kernel someday..
However kernel hijacking is a possibility but devs with enough knowledge arent interested in this device ...
Also MM may not have root simply also due to dm_verity in kernel..
For us h950 users outside USA there may never be a MM either...
I was wondering if we all take it to twitter to demand a solution for custom kernel bombing their twitter we may get a good response
We can even say our devices heat up so much that it reaches temp of 60-70+ so we need to modify vdd freely for all g flex 2...
They may acknowledge the sd810 problem and send a method to unlock all variants..

i dont know if it works, i see in another thread someone asking for flash h955 over f510l and the only thing they say is the modem driver maybe dont work, you will dont have network connection...but maybe the rom works.

Yes that is applicable.. But don't downgrade att 5.1.1 to 5.0.1

I saw a few disappointments ahead when it's fully realised that without a unlocked boot loader we can't root marshmallow.

hello. this ohone is driving me crazy. i need the stock firmware if possible a zip instead of a kdz. i wish i had made one before i flashed. i put lineage on the phone. but i am trying to install stock so i can ad magisk and a hopefully xposed.
i tried the lg flash tool i cannot get any version to work without error.
can any one ep me out please

I know I saw somewhere someone made one for the metro version, but I'm not sure where. Just search around the threads. Not sure if it works, but someone else was in your position and someone made a backup and linked a download page for anyone to use, but as far as an "official" stock zip, one doesn't exist.

How did you get VoLTE to work when no one else has? It will connect to LTE but when you make a phone call it will switch out of LTE which means VoLTE is not working.
TBH I'm not completely sure. I was messing around with IMS registration and it changed to registered. When it did VoLTE started working. Reason I don't Kno what I did is because my baby nephew technically did it. He grabbed (7 months old) my phone and put it in his mouth. I grabbed back. Looked at screen and it said IMS registration complete.

Some unlocked phones weren't unlocked properly and actually Sprint models. Essential fixed this recently which caused those phones to be relocked.
Best bet is to get a hold of Sprint or wherever you bought it from. Sounds like that unlock "bug" was there for a very long time.

I called sprint and they told me that my phone is fully unlocked for both domestic and international.

not sure why you're still asking a month later.
You have a different issue. Your phone is not sprint locked. Your phone is not sim locked, period.
Again, the modemst images used to unlock spr variants were dumped from openus devices.
