Hey guys, I'm a complete noob when it comes to phones, so sorry if this is too basic of a question. I don't really know where else to get a direct answer:
My LG G3 (LS990) is dead. Like straight up dead. I made a post about it here, but I'm fully anticipating that I won't be get much help. That being said, I've pretty much resolved in myself to bite the bullet and get a new phone. Now, my LG G3 was purchased through Sprint, and the new phone I plan on getting, the LG G4, will also be the Sprint model.
My question is this: can I use the SIM card in the LG G3 with the G4 and have it be able to make phone calls? Or would I need to take the phone to Sprint and have them activate it?

Id like to start by saying that I have spent hours and hours these last few weeks trying to find all the info I need but have come up somewhat shorthanded.
I currently have an LG Optimus V on Virgin Mobile and I want to upgrade my phone while keeping my $25 a month plan. I want a top-of-the-line phone like the Galaxy S2 or similar(which I will buy on Craigslist).
SO, I am wondering if there are different methods to getting different phones to work(I have seen a lot of info about how to get an HTC EVO to virgin) and if this should affect by buying decision?
ALSO, I was wondering if anyone had a straightforward step-by-step guide to flash a phone to Virgin because all the ones I have found are broken up and very confusing to follow?
I would also like to know if it is possible to get a Verizon phone to use on Virgin(I was thinking of the Razr)?

hello, I'm basically new to this forum and I'm an amateur, so here my question. Can the 32 gig, att d80020 with the 4.4.2 kitkat update be unlocked? I've read in some places that it comes factory unlocked and there's a lot of people who say they can unlock it but turns out they cant. can someone help with a cheap method cause att sucks for their data plans and I want to switch to tmobile.
I have a brand new LG G3 Vigor from sprint my ex gave me in March of this year. I am stuck on trying to switch it to straight talk. I need help where as Im not a techy person. It has a sim and I need to know if I can change the sims around and make it a straight talk phone. Help asap !

BTW ... it's only possible if both networks are using the same frequencies/bands, so that the mobile network chip in your device is able to connect to the other mobile network carrier.

Okay, as the title said, I need advice on a program or software that will help me unlock two different phones.
They're both Sprint phones and They're not easy to unlock, I'm normally pretty good with these kinds of things but Sprints CDMA garbage is preventing me from prevailing.
The first phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 running 6.0.1 (Marshmallow)
The second Phone is an LG G3 running 5.0.2 (Lollipop)
as i said they're Sprint phones but i need to unlock them so that I can switch over to T-Mobile
I'm not paying to get them unlocked because if i was going to i'd be better buying a new phone instead.
Any advice on how to do this or where to go that won't cost anything?

First of all, I am a noob here trying to get help with a phone I bought off Ebay. I currently am with Verizon Prepaid and thought this phone I bought would work, but the service is shotty.
Phone is an LG V30+ Thin Q running on software US99830b. Model# LG-US998 and was told it was factory unlocked. I hope I am providing enough detail. I have searched and since this is all new to me I want to make sure I get the steps right.
I am trying to get this phone to work on Verizon network, especially Verizon Prepaid if it can be done, because Verizon themselves told me the phone wasn't compatible. I have found some threads regarding this and I think I have the answer, but want to make sure and hear it from the experts themselves.
