Ported HTC apps. - Android Apps and Games

Hi,
I was asking myself if someone ported the HTC camera and lockscreen to other phones.
I already tried to install the apk's just like that but it doesn't work. Can this work ?
I am running CM 13 on a Samsung Galaxy s5 Mini
Thanks.

camera is already ported.please use search before opening a thread.lockscreen needs framework to work so no ports
this might work for you too. if not there is another thread

[Q] Native USB tethering not working CM9

Couldn't find a helpful post regarding this, so started a new thread.
I have CM9 base Ehndroix rom installed 12.8.26 build. My native USB tether is not functioning. Third party apps work. Is this bug device specific? Because it's otherwise not listed in the not working features?
Also is there any way I can get the original google apps? This rom has the black gapps provided. They are nice but i personally prefer the original ones.
Thanks
It is one of the bugs in current CM9 builds.... 3rd party apps work fine.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy SL on CyanogenMod 9 !

CM10 v. GE ROMs

I just swapped my HTC One for a Galaxy S4 about 30 minutes ago. I rooted it, and am wanting to install a ROM.
Do you guys prefer CM10 or the Google Edition ROMs? An issues with either? Such as tethering/data settings didn't work on the GE ROM for the HTC One.
Thanks for any help

Plus Everyone has their own idea about what they prefer. The only way to know is to read the ROM threads in the Development and original development sections and see what the OPs have posted about the functions of each ROM to see if they include what you want. The issues are also usually listed within each ROMs individual threads. Good luck with your reading.

[Completed] [Q] Emoji's don't show up on Keyboard! Please Help!

Hi. I have just recently upgraded my SAMSUNG GTS5830 from ANDROID 2.3.7 - 4.4.2
Everything is running fine and I love the new look. I managed to install the missing apks namely Apollo music player and Google Camera. The others are working fine.
My problem is that the Emojis don't show up on my keyboard. Only afew show up and mainly in black & white
It's just the typical heart and X o's that are showing up. Any idea where the colored ones are for the version 4.4.2 keyboard? And I also downloaded Google Keyboard but it just closed everytime I opened it up so I'm using the default one.
If my Samsung does not support this emojis is there another version of Android that I can downgrade to inorder to get them to show up on the keyboard? They worked fine when I was using 2.3.7
THANKS.

I need the s10e's stock camera app apk

So, I'm running LineageOS 19.1 and it's stock camera app lacks functionality, and I don't want to use Gcam, I would like to use samsung's stock camera, if someone could provide me with a way to get it, would help me tremendously.

@elJaberJaber I'm curious if the stock camera apk works on Lineage, please report back about it.
You can't use the Samsung stock camera app on an AOSP rom as it lacks the proper framework for the apk to work with , you can only use it in other OneUI based roms .
In the odd chance that I am wrong, I'd love to see it happen.

didn't get to test it out, I'm sorry, I've managed to brick my phone, so I reverted to the original ROM and rooted it to uninstall bloatware.

That's what I thought.
However, for the Sony Xperia Z3 series there was a port of the stock camera app that included the needed parts of the framework to work on AOSP/Lineage based roms.
It would be interesting if this could be possible on the Samsung S10 series too.

Hasn't been done yet, your best bet is to talk to the Dev that made the rom , Linux or Ivan or whoever it was and also with Corsicanu, as he's very well skilled working with Samsung devices and tinkering with it's apps , you can find him in various groups and on telegram as well so give it a shot and ask him a question.
Hi everyone, can i import the framework on a different rom? im using an S22
