Make sure you safed all your date on SD and format it under
Settings - storage and USB - click on the settings button for your SD card and format it as internal storage.
Than you can move apps

Thanks, I presume this can only be done on the original ROM and not on custom ROM's?

Its working for me now. I super CID my phone. Installed stock US unlocked version. Installed my SDcard as internal first, installed TWRP recovery without wiping my data. Reboot my phone, sideload supersu and everything is working now.

which one u recommend:
Android Revolution HD or Ledroid?
Virtuous. It has an advanced pull down menu and Wi-Fi calling. But if it I must choose between those two I'd say LeeDroid. Used it for a bit before switching to Virtuous because I really needed those extra options in the pull down.
Virtuous is avaiable for HTC sensation?
+1 for virtuous. I'm running v1.0.1 and its very fast and stable. Can oc up to 1.8 ghz but its really unnecessary because this rom us perfectly smooth.

Your SD Card doesn't need to be partitioned for a Sensation. But a wipe doesn't format your partition unless you specifically select it.

Am I screwed? Can't restore any backup I had!!!!!

I'm on CWM right now...I just got done completely wiping the phone and went to restore a backup I have and I get this error:
MD5 Mismatch!
And it won't do anything. I can't reboot the phone because I just wiped everything, so I have no where to go. Please help!

What does that mean?
I think my only option right now is to go to the store and buy a microsd card reader so I can put a rom zip file on my sd card and then get it up and running.

You're using CWM and you don't know what an RUU is...Great.
Go flash a stock ROM via USB and that way at least you will have a ROM back.
Or, go and use the mount SD card option in CWM to mount your SD card to the PC that way. Then you can copy over a ROM zip file and flash that way.
Alright I'm downloading a stock rooted rom right now.
Any ideas what caused this problem? Only thing I can think of is I made all the backups in cwm 4.0.1.5, but I went back to 4.0.1.4 because of the charging issues, and 4.0.1.4 was the one I was using to try and restore my backups.
I just want to know for next time.
I'm pretty sure that means there was an error signing the backup.
You also didn't have to buy an SD card reader, you can mount your SD card in CWM under mounts and storage

And what exactly does that mean?
After I get this up and running I'm going to try and do a backup with 4.0.1.4 and make sure it works with that version.
Whew, back up and running on stock rooted rom.

Mount the internal memory on the computer and place it there. If you have cwm 5.x you can flash from the internal

Isn't miui based on cm? You could also push it via adb to /emmc

Oh yeah true. Hey wait does this changing the mount point effectively make the internal sd card usable as the external? I did the changes manually in vold.fstab but it didn't work.."?

Check the rom for recovery thread in dev section. It will flash you back to gb 2.3.3 OTA
I have bricked my phone multiple times and that method always saves my phone.

Removing Content Upon Flashing a ROM

Hi there, how are y'all doing?
Well.. I was looking into installing a ROM on my Nexus 5, and I just wondered...
I had a Galaxy S3 before that, and when I installed ROMs on it, I used to copy the ROM zip file to my SD Card, remove everything from my phone's internal memory, and install the ROM from the external SD Card, that way there was NOTHING left on the phone that I previously had.
Now, I want to do the same thing with my Nexus 5, but guess what... It has no external SD Card option :\
What can I do? Is there any way to install a ROM and delete EVERYTHING I had in my phone before?
Thanks.
just wipe data before you flash.
You can't easily do what you want. Best bet would be to get a otg usb stick and use it for your rom. Otherwise, you'd have to wipe your sdcard and sideload a rom in adb. Or just wipe your sdcard boot into system, and copy and paste the rom. Then boot into recovery and do your normal wipes

Is using a single extra command really all that hard though?
"adb push <rom> /sdcard/<rom>"

Ah, I would never use the toolkit unless I know how to do things manually as well.
I like knowing what the toolkit is doing incase something goes wrong.
Why do you want to wipe all your photos and videos etc? You don't need to to flash a rom

I've never ever wiped my internal SD on any device.
Unless you're just housekeeping? But you don't have to, at all.

Titanium Backup "insufficient free storage space"

Since moving to 4.4.3 with the updated firmware, titanium Backup won't run... I get an error stating, "insufficient free storage space." I've tried both ext SD and internal SD with same error. Also tried changing prefs from using TiBu busybox to the ROM busybox--that worked for one time but now getting the error again.... Am using ViperRom 2.5.0. Anyone else seeing this problem? Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

I know when I tried to backup to my sd card it said the same thing, but after running an app that grants you access to write to the sd card it worked fine. As for it not working backing up to the internal I have no idea.

I saw that error message one time. I cleared cache and data in TB and corrected it.
Thanks. Clearing data and cache didn't work... Although it seems to be working on the internal SD card now. Anyone have any other ideas?

You need a kernel that removes write-protect to the removable sdcard. Most of the custom 4.4.3 ROMs have that as a feature, but stock doesn't.

Thanks. I'm on ViperOne rom and am pretty sure that is built into the ROM... Never had this issue on 4.4.2 but now on 4.4.3...

I just took a quick spin through the Viper thread (very quick, I don't run that ROM). I saw a recent post from after the 9/25 version of the ROM stating that Viper uses stock kernel. So, unless it fixes read/write of sdcard2 another way, not sure it's working on 4.4.3.
I run the Elite Lunar kernel which definitely removes writeprotect on sdcard2. Not sure how that flies with Viper, though.
