Hi Guys,
i am new here and I have a question to the pros or advanced developers.
Is it possible to implement the cache function of the old soundcloud app (for example V: 15.07.15-release) in to the latest one?
I know that I could use the old apk to cache the music but I would prefer the newer one if its possible.
So maybe someone got an idea?

Hi all,
I hope this is the right area to ask this question but does anyone know where I can get the old version of apk's. I guess I'm looking for something like oldapps.com or oldversion.com but for apk's.
The reason is that a few of my favourite apps have been updated and the newer version isn't necessarily better.
Very recently I've found an app ('android assistant' but I'm sure there's more) which will backup the apk to the sd card which will help for the future if this happens again.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Nial.
Many file sharing sites have older versions. Just google "download app_name.apk" and you should get a long list of available versions.
This is going to be my first Nexus. I also read that google are not going to support Flash. My question is: Is it possible to install Flash on the stock Android and play in browser Flash based games?
Cheers!
P.S. - sorry for posting in the wrong section. I`ll be grateful if you can move the thread in the apps section.

If I remember correctly, since 4.0, flash has not been supported by google in Android for all phones. Not just the Nexus 5.
Flash has been dead for awhile now and isn't even supported in the mobile version of chrome. You can side load flash onto your device and use a browser that supports it though. Not sure how games would be though.
All flash nowadays is supported by html5 but not all web designers like coding it I guess, they say it's more difficult. But adobe has unsupported flash versions on their website up to version 11.1 I believe ones that work on ICS framework and I have it running on my nexus 4 and dolphin browser and Firefox work great with it. I can stream xm from the website just fine with it and browse car buying web pages fine as well.

Hi All,
I have a question regarding custom android build; pre-installed apps and USER app vs SYSTEM app.
A specific app needs to be an USER app but has to be pre-installed in this custom android build.
But from everything that I read this seems not possible, and can only work if it is an SYSTEM app. Is this correct?
This has been trown in my lap but I have very little experience with Android development. I'm hoping I can find the answer / useful feedback here.
Since I did not become wiser after searching for a while.
Thanks,
Thijs
