Stock firmware not accepting the previous email after factory reset - Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I did a factory reset on Moto G 3rd gen Indian variant, now when i boot up for setup it says that phone was reset, login with email that was last synced to complete the setup. when i enter the old email which was synced with the moto G3, it again comes back to same message that this phone was reset. I am not able to access the device, is there a way to root it in the current situation, unlocking boot loader?

Android version?

It's hard to follow the video since I dont speak Portuguese but if I've done it correctly when I get to the part where I go into Settings/About Phone and choose to check for an update it doesn't see the zip in the root of my internal storage. It just says The Software in your device is up to date.
can someone xplain me how to do this

What we need is for someone who has flashed this, to go into TWRP, and make a backup of System and Boot. Then upload that. (obviously before you login, and set your stuff up, so it's a clean backup)
For people that are on build LPD23.118-32: https://copy.com/gJiDZMMnuUeHlfqa.
I'm running on a EU model, XT1562 and currently on build LPD23.118-10
Would this work at all for that model? I guess you'd have to flash this in Stock Recovery. Doing it via the "Update Software" section in settings sounds like nonsense to me...
Yeah I'm not entirely sure how one is supposed to install either of these. Can we get some English step by step instructions?

I'd be careful...the guides in that video are a bit fishy, and show a different device entirely (Moto X 2014?). I think somebody with more knowledge should check out the files before anyone starts flashing...

Or, if you install TWRP, and then wipe data, cache, and dalvik, then backup System and Boot for us, and upload those, we can flash this on any Lux.

Well, Brazilians and Indians have fun with the soak test. The rest of us will see you when Motorola launches MM worldwide in February.

H950 5.1.1 AT&T Error Authenthication #9

Hello, is there any way to restore my H950 5.1.1 AT&T back to stock firmware?
Today I rooted the phone and everything was going OK, then I deleted some apps LG and AT&T apps, rebooted and now I have a very nice Error Authentication #9 screen and the phone won't boot.
I tried to restore the system with LG Mobile Support Tool, it recognizes the phone.
So I tried to upgrade recovery, enter my IMEI and the connect the phone in download mode, then the LG Tool seems to get stuck, but if I click the exit button, it comes back to the initial screen.
Is there any chance to recover this phone by myself? I can't send it to LG because I don't live in US.
With 5.1 and at&t rom is impossible without the kdz if you dont keep rootedsystem in your internal storage

Damn, after the phone bricked I tried a hard reset with no luck, the rootedsystem.img was on internal storage before that.
Is there a way to check if the file its still there?

Try to do again root process, if you dont know or are unsure, send me the process you do, and I tell you where to start

Last time I used this tool:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/development/root-easy-root-att-flex-2-5-1-1-t3178354
Now I can't connect the phone on debug mode, should I put It on download mode and try to root again?
It seems that rootedsystem.img its gone from my internal storage, I tried to recover the phone by doing the root process again, but the tool stays at "working..." screen.
Is this phone a nice brick then? Is there any chance to recover it in the future?

maybe, If att relases the kdz or tot files.
Or if bootloaders becomes unlocked some day...
if you sell the phone and is in exellent cosmetic state, contact me please
Ok, I'll wait for a solution then. I hope for the best. I will try to make the warranty service valid with AT&T.

I think you only need to do the root process again to go out from softbrick.

FRP Bypass LG G Flex 2 H950

Hi, my lg g flex 2 h950; the is the at&t model is stuck on frp lock. i have tried various ways found over the internet but no luck :crying:. If anyone's got a solution to this do let me know. thanks in advance.
On my international version I had the same problem on 5.1.1 and I installed 5.0.1 (cse flash, full wipe), logged to Google account on 5.0.1 and then installed 5.1.1 (normal flash, without wipe). But I don't know that you can downgrade software on AT&T version.

Moto G 2nd Gen stuck in bootloop a couple days after rooted

So i successfully rooted my Moto G 2nd Gen using KingRoot. Not too long after i had finished downloading Adblocker, a messaged popped up saying i had to "reboot" the phone and that's exactly what i ended up doing. That's when the phone wouldn't boot
.........later, after a bit of research i had found that my phone was stuck in a bootloop.
So i took it to Wind (the company i'm with) and without knowing that the phone was rooted, they told me that they could fix it only if i bring the receipt. I purchased this phone on August 14, 2015, the one year warranty still stands. But the receipt was long gone. No receipt, no warranty service.
I went back to the store where i bought the phone....but they can't seem to pull up the receipt. They said because it's been almost a year since i bought the phone.
Anyways, i am here for help. The phone is in a bootloop and not only that but USB Debugging is not on (i believe). I don't remember turning it on. But i want you guys to understand that I AM A NEWBIE.
I also tried to Factory reset it from Recovery but that didn't help. Btw, since i did a factory reset is the phone still rooted? Isn't KingRoot supposed to be deleted from the factory reset?
One more thing, the phone is a Moto G 2nd Gen, Model: XT1064 (if that helps). :good:
Please Help.
After this i don't thing i will ever root another phone again.

Its the thread for moto g 2015(osprey) not moto g 2014(titan),sorry. You should put up this question there for answers.
BTW, you shouldn't use apps like kingroot that already have a manual root method. In your case probably its unlock bootloader>twrp>SuperSU zip>rooted succesfully. (This is a standard procedure, make sure to read and understand the process specific to your device that are available in your device thread)
And no, kingroot superuser app would not be affected by factory reset as its resides in /system and factory reset wipes out /data and cache partitions.

To restore the stock firmware, download the firmware for your exact device model from here, and then flash with instructions linked on that thread. Keep in mind this will erase the data, hence a factory reset, so backup photos and messages etc. first.
