LG V10 Extended Batteries - LG V10 Accessories

Hi, Since i made a Thread for the LG G4 i'd make a Thread Here
[eBay]
TQTHL 7600mah+Case
TQTHL 3800mah
PowerBear 6500mah
Charger
[AliExpress]
6500mah
Battery+Charger
[Amazon]
ZeroLemon 9000mah
PowerBear 6500mah
TQTHL 7600mah
Charger

Conveniently left off the Mugen? You sure are pushing the sale of this Ali Express item all over the place. I get super suspicious of postings like this.

AliExpress is the only place to buy besides eBay, Amazon. I have bought batteries from them before and they work Just fine

Hi WAIDroid, do you know if there is a high capacity battery with a bumper case such as the otherbox?
Sent from my LG-H901 using XDA-Developers mobile app

Not that I can see sorry

Edit. Cancel this wrong thread. Actually strongly deciding on getting this if the wireless charging on this back plate is good.

Is TOTHL reliable? Eyeballing the 3800mAh since there is no 4500...

Yeah, my 4500mah still works well after the 6 cycles

TOTHL 3800 slim for LG V10? where?

On eBay. Just look at the first post

Not shipping to my **** country...Bosnia and Herzegovina

Try AliExpress. They ship to mostly everywhere. That battery isn't on there but there are similar ones
Edit: Here's One

don't want some noname...I think TH is good.

Fixed Link and ok but i know 2 people who have bought from that company

Don't trust that one, I'm gonna wait TOT

I like ZeroLemon.
wish they had made it 10,000 mah instead of 9,000 mah since there is a lot of empty space inside the zerolemon case.

Ok guys i don't feel like editing my first post so just copy/paste the batteries on eBay and you'll fine more. tried it myself and found 5 in list

https://www.amazon.com/3800mAh-Repl...ords=3800mAh+Extended+Slim+Battery+For+LG+V10
anyobody try TOTH?

Does anyone have any used extended batteries for sale?
Secondly, is anyone aware of an extended battery with back panel that has a belt holster case included?
Thanks!

Best battery?

Pretty much which is the best battery without having to change the back cover, and nfc or not.

That's the title on Amazon it's like $30 off right now, I was wondering if anyone had any experience using this battery set. Does it work just as well? I'm thinking about getting it.

I've got one of the Hyperion batteries. They sell them as a standalone product without the charger. The battery is about what you would expect for the $10 cost. As I expected, it doesn't last quite as long as the included battery, but it makes a good backup battery for when you need a little extra juice. The amazon reviews say that the charger is low quality, so i bought the RND dock off amazon to go with it. I'm new here so I can't post the link yet, sorry.
Thanks that's really helpful. If I may ask what kind of case or screen protector do you like?

According to reviews they get about 3 hours more...they're rated at 2250 mAh. Should be getting them Wednesday so I'll update when they arrive.
I always recommend getting 2 batteries and an external battery charger. I am never without a battery and just have to remember to pop a dead battery in the charger when I get home from work.
Honestly... The best battery for the skyrocket are the factory ones. Not bulging back and the mah is accurate. They are pricey @$35 a pop, but they are the best we can get.

I've got the otterbox commuter series. It's a nice case for what I need it for. Only thing is I have to take it off to use the dock or change batteries. Also best buy included an invisible shield protector on my phone (some BS policy they have). I never would have bought it on my own but it's a decent screen protector if you can get it installed right.

I was looking at either the commuter or, there is a seido active armor case. I got a decent .20 cent case to hold me over till I buy a pricey one.
I've heard problems regarding otterbox cases and the screen protector regarding dirt to be able to get under the protector. And the screen being scuffed if you ever cleaned it. Have you noticed anything like that?

Two batteries from Samsung? Do they sell a two pack with a charger? The reason l looked at the Hyperion was because of its charger. (Digging through the reveiws about charger problems people appear to be breaking off pins)
I like the idea of Samsung batteries since they would have nfc.

I have the commuter series case. It doesn't include a screen protector. But from the reviews I've seen of the defender, the speaker and camera holes are unprotected which allows dirt to get under it.

Well, I received these batteries several days early...was scheduled for this coming Wednesday and instead they arrived this past Saturday. Fully charged a battery, and today is my first day using them, but I can say that the percentage is certainly not dropping as quickly as the stock battery. It's actually noticeable.
The battery fits well without a replacement cover, but of course doesn't include NFC capability...
I'm getting an extra 2-3 hours off of those batteries. Definitely worth $30 for 2 batteries and an external charger...

What brands or Extended Batteries are good?

Anyone who has used an extended battery for our Verizon GS3, what brands are good or what have you had good experiences with? I never messed with an extended battery before. And yes, I do know if they are big it will come with a new back cover for compatibility of the thickness.
I personally haven't used any extended batteries yet, but within the last couple hours a lot of the android news blogs have been posting about genuine samsung brand batteries at 3000mah. Looks like you get an extended case with it that doesn't seem 'that' big.
Still it's 60 bucks though, more than I paid for the phone, haha.
Edit: ugh.. since I'm a new member apparently I can't post links yet, just google: samsung galaxy s3 extended battery
You should see it in the news.
I picked up the Hyperion 4400 of eBay for like 25 and it's amazing. I get around 9 hours screen time the larger back feels much better in my hands. And there customer service is amazing. The back was as little loose so I emailed them and they sent me a brand new back... And battery!
By the way there is a couple really good comparison threads in the accessories section you may want to check out.
If I helped you in some way.... pass on the favor and help the next person!

I picked up the Qcell batteries and a charger for $36 a few months ago on Amazon, now it's just $25 for two batteries and charger..
I've been very pleased with them!
Wife's using the QCell 4200 mAh battery. She loves it. She uses it all day, and has yet to see it go below 60%. And she spends the entire work day in a lower signal area.
Hyperion works great. I got the 4200 with NFC. My cover cracked too and I emailed them and the same day they sent me a new one with no questions asked.

We've had the phones for going on three months now. So about 2.5 months. It's a great battery. Battery cover isn't so hot though. It's the same thickness around the entire cover. So the camera and flash are in these deep holes. Pictures without flash come out ok, but pictures with flash have sort of a pinhole effect where the picture is much brighter around the center, and too dark at the edges. I'm getting her a Seidio back that I've been told will fit. The Seidio back tapers toward the top, so that the camera and flash are not covered at all. I had the same type of back with my old Evo, and it worked perfectly.

I purchased the Anker 4400mAh Extended battery off of Amazon for $20 (it doesn't support NFC though). I have had the phone on for over two days at one point with medium to heavy usage, and it still hasn't reached below 40%. The only downside I didn't consider when purchasing an extended battery was that the cases I had previously bought to cover the phone would not fit of course, so I purchased two additional extended battery cases (which aren't all that great compared to the standard cases). Check out the reviews on that battery, most of them are excellent.
Right now I rock the Seidio Kickstand case and I know they make another case for extended batteries. I've been happy with this cases so I'm a try it out.
Once I get the Seidio back to use on the Qcell battery and verify that it does indeed fit, I am going to pick up the Seidio kickstand case for it. I have the kickstand case that fits the stock battery right now, and it is a great case!

Right on. Seidio does good work. I like the fact that the kick stand cases are soft on the side but hard on the outside. I read the extended battery version is made for the 3,500 mAh battery but my colleague bought the extended back (not the battery, just the back cover + extended case) and he said it fits his other extended batteries that exceeded 4,000 mAh.

I've had these before and the Anker charger would not charge the batteries up to 100%. On my S3 the charger took it to about 89-93%, but would never top off the charge. Will this charger take the Anker and stock batteries to 100% every time?
Thanks

Does it cause the back cover to bulge? Worried about that as while it probably wouldn't matter if you weren't using a case or were using a flexible plastic one it would likely be an issue in the Kraken case I'm using...
Otherwise seems like a good deal.
Thanks.
I don't get why its such a good deal? Our stock batteries are 2600mah too. Is it just because having 2 extra batteries and a wall charger?

It's hard to tell. Nothing noticeably sticks out. There may be a little bulge, still, it could be my imagination.
It definitely wouldn't stop the phone fitting in cases.

Unfortunatelly I couldn't get that to ship to Portugal. That seller on Amazon.com doens't ship to my country.
End up buying a similar case (at least I think it's similar) from this buyer on ebay; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290945222818?var=590142602825&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Unfortunatelly the quaility of the case is really bad and makes the phone look cheap. Also didn't came with a back cover for the phone so the doesn't fit well with the anker back base...(my bad didn't noticing that!)
Maybe Yesso cases are better, although I think so because the look exactly the same! But unfortunatelly I will never know.
Oh. and don't buy anything from this seller on ebay EVER! He's the rudest person I have ever met. Because I complained abou the quality of the case he started insulting me and left a feedback calling me "Crap customer.just a troublesome" after on a message saying I hope not to deal with you again.
Amazing, ebay these days!
Sorry the bit off topic there.
I wish there was other options for extended batteries. any ideas?
Joao.

[Review]Mugen Power 5900mAh Extended Battery for Samsung Galaxy S5

Disclaimer: I was chosen to receive a review unit of the Mugen Power 5900mAh Extended Battery.
So, that being said, I had done some research on their website, as well as googling Galaxy S5 "wireless charging" + "extended battery" and was prepared to like the battery. Mugen appears to be the only company (from google search) that has an extended battery AND wireless charging. This is a preliminary review with initial observations and pictures. I'll update the review after "conditioning" the battery and putting it through a few charging cycles.
PRO's:
On the website, the backcover was not suppose to be IP67 water-resistant (they were working on that, but it wasn't suppose to be wireless charging capable. The model I received is! (See included pictures)
Wireless charging: Worked effortlessly on the Q1 charger I was using with a wireless charging card.
NFC: Worked perfectly.
Design: Very solid and well designed. As you can see in the picture, the wireless connector is solid, the speaker is boxed in, so that sound won't echo in the hollow space, but is directed to the cut-out. Also, the speaker cut-out has a film cover, which the OEM does not. I'm used to having my phone is a case so I'm used to a larger feel in my hand and it feels very comfortable to me.
CON's:
Just one. It would be nice if it included a bumper so that the front of the phone was raised slightly. That being said, Mugen included both a tempered glass screen protector, and a leather-like pouch for the phone. I honestly don't know if that's part of the standard order, but it was a very nice touch.
Lastly, Mugen is based out of Hong Kong, but they are by no means anything like an e-bay cheapy product. Instructions included with battery are written in perfect english. If you've ever gotten an e-bay product from the Far East, I'm sure you know what I mean!
UPDATE 1: After the first charge/discharge cycle, almost 1 day, 8 hours and 7 hours screen on time. Pretty heavy use with Google Maps running screen brightness set to full brightness. After next charge, I'm just going to put it through "normal" use.
UPDATE 2: With light to moderate use, got 3 days, 8 hours, 40 minutes.
Planning on moving up to the S5 from the S4 since the latest Galaxy doesn't have the features it use too. Anyway... I really like your review and even went to Mugen's site and gave it a once over, but I'm not hooked.
Right now I am using a 5200mAh from Anker and for $25 I couldn't have gone wrong. This thing with moderate to heavy use is getting me around 2 days of battery life. Anyway... I'm pretty happy with the Ankers performance, so of course I looked into them for the S5 and I see they offer a whopping 7500mAh for only $40.
Granted you mention Mugen sending you a pouch/case... but their site doesn't mention that... so no idea if that would even be included on every order or if it might have been a limited order/supply kind of deal. Regardless though... I can't seem to justify paying an extra $45 and getting a battery that's 1600mAh smaller than the Anker. Also I have to add that my current S4 Anker hardback sucks... wasn't molded well and sometime pops off as it doesn't fit real snug like it should and I see Mugen uses the same kind of hardback. The S5 Anker uses what looks to be a plastic/rubber combo and fits like a glove.
Appreciate the review though.

Thanks for the review. If the site advertised / sold the exact same one with the IP67 rating like the one you received. I would purchase one in a heartbeat.
