[Completed] boot-problem on Huawei Y6 - XDA Assist

Heyhey,
I'm new to this forum and quite the noob in general but here goes.
I have an Huawei Y6, SCL-L21 with android 5.1 (I think it was 5.1, it was definitely 5.something). Following a youtube-video (Apparently I can't link to it), I tried to root my phone using kingoapp. It said it was successful, but I didn't saw the SuperSu app, so I tried rebooting first. Now it seems that my phone doesn't want to boot up any more :/. I just get the Huawei logo and that's it.
I can still get into the recovery menu (EMUI, the one that was original on the device, access through sound up + power on). I've tried 'wipe cache partition' and 'wipe data/factory settings', neither helps.
It has been brought to my attention that reinstalling a back-up from the original rom might help. I, however, do not have a back-up.
I tried finding a different rom, just to see if that would work, but I really have no idea what to look for, where to look or what I should do with the file once I find it. (In hindsight, these were probably things I should have thought about first, but apparently I didn't :/)
I guess my question now is first of all, is there a way to get my phone back to work? And also, what can I do in the future if I would want to reinstall my OS in the event that something like this would happen again (like how you would reinstall a PC, is something like that possible on a smartphone)?
Kind regards,
Ilja_B

[Completed] Arnova 10cG3 softbricked, dont know how to recover

I have been searching for answer over 10 days, but still can't figure out how to resolve this. I don't how exactly it bricked, it just couldn't start anymore. I can get into recovery menu, but there isn't any option to recover android. It was rooted before, and worked normally. I cant find any other way to flash any rom on it. I appreciate any help on this matter, tnx in advance!

Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist!
Please register for an account so you can post to the rest oif the site. The [Ask Any Question][Newbie Friendly] thread of the > Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting will provide a good start to resolve your issue.
What seems confusing is that there may be some Arnova's made by Archos. Archos has a forum, but sadly, Arnova does not (not finding much about your device either).
At any rate, try the thread/forum above, and be patient with regard to a response. This seems to be a rare device, so it would be harder to get the attention you need.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
The other way
I understood that the complete system is wiped out. I can use adb while its in recovery menu. I used it to transfer official system image onto it, but in its options i cant find it. I transferred it to multiple locations, all of them can be seen in recovery menu but all are empty. I wonder if there is a way to flash some other android version on it? Or some ROM like CWM, but apparently there are no official releases. And since i am not very good at this i wonder how to make sure that kernel is OK? Can such thing be done? It has Android system recovery <3e>

CWM is a recovery, not a ROM, but can be used to flash ROMs.
With 3e, you should be able to flash the stock ROM for the device via adb (called side loading). So that may work for you.
Hope this helps.

[Completed] Is it possible to flash over a ROM to Android?

Hello
First of all, let me explain the situation:
My phone is the Oneplus One, currently with no OS, the reason being - because i wanted to re-root my phone after the Oneplus updated (this update was a while ago) either way many problems occurred and i figured the easiest way to re-root my device is to simply wipe it, and try again on a clean slate.
I attempted to wipe my phone, but did it the complete wrong way. Instead of using the OS's wiping strategy, i may of used the recovery's one instead, doing so i clean swooped the OS right off my phone.
At the moment, the phone has no OS installed - nor is the phone rooted. The phone isn't capable of passing files over through usb debugging because the computer doesn't recognise it no more. (It did have usb debugging turn't on). Of course i need to reinstall an OS on the phone. The TWRP recovery is working fine. But i do not know how to do it. I looked up things such as mounting, didn't really understand the vague explanations given by the helpers of this forum (i am slow haha :silly. If someone is able to point me in the right direction in how to simply put an OS back into the phone some how i would be grateful.
I did read up on one post that suggested making a system.img placing the OS inside and flashing it over using fastboot mode. Which brings me to the question. Is it possible to use command to install an OS on my Oneplus whilst in fastboot mode

[Completed] How do I unbrick my phone?

First of all, I'd like to say that I know very little about how Android, electronics or mobile phones work in general, so everything I've done has been from internet tutorials. Please don't use any jargon as I probably won't know what you mean. ELI5.
A few days ago, I tried to root my phone and it didn't work. As a result the phone went into a boot loop and I didn't know how to fix it. The long and short of it was that I ended up flashing the stock firmware onto my phone and basically doing a complete factory reset. After some time trying this I managed to get the phone to start up and I was able to access the interface and all that. Unfortunately, my WiFi wasn't working (the button would simply turn off whenever I turned it on) so I had no way to download the most recent updates or apps or anything like that. After following several tutorials on how to fix this, such as flashing the modems and bootloader, I still wasn't having any luck. So I tried something that proved to cause even more problems - I tried to install a new kernel. Now my phone won't even boot past the logo. I probably didn't install the right one, but what can I say, it's not very clear which one I need.
Now I'd like to point out that as a layman who just wants his phone to work again, half of the time I don't understand what I'm doing or whether or not I'm doing it right. In other words, I realise that I've probably messed up my phone, but what can I do? I can't take it to a technician because I don't have the money for that, I can't buy a new phone for the same reason and I can't phone up and ask for a replacement because the warranty expired ages ago and I don't have the original documents here.
I've installed the Team Win Recovery Project on my phone and I have Odin installed on my PC as well.
TLDR; yes, I know I'm an idiot and I don't appreciate you telling me. I'd like to reset my phone to how it was before - the normal firmware, the normal kernel and all that, but I'd still like to have root access and keep the TWRP recovery mode too.

Model name: GALAXY S4 LTE
Country: UK
Version: Android 5.0.1
You'll probably need more information, so if you do just let me know and, if possible, where I can find it.
I have some good news. I managed to flash the firmware again and now I can access the phone again. However, the WiFi problem persists. I've tried looking on the internet for a solution, but I can't find one. I've tried flashing the modem and all that stuff, but it still doesn't work.
Oh, and by the way, I no longer have TWRP and I don't think I have root access anymore either (I had to do a data partition wipe as well).
I'd really appreciate a reply from someone. I've tried everything, but to no avail.

Hi engloa,
It's OK, I've fixed the problem now; I installed a different ROM and now it works fine. Thanks anyway though.

[Completed] HTC M7 - Tried to root (Installed TWRP) but now phone won't boot

I tried to use this guide to on htconeroot
Got to installing the zip for SuperSU v1.30
The phone rebooted but it said SuperSU failed
Tried to install Update Super SU v2.46
Phone no longer reboots. It shows the white HTC One loading screen but then just goes very dark grey forever.
I can still access the white menu that comes up when you hold volume down and power
Can also access the TWRP screen, however I tried factor reset there and it didn't change, it still won't boot.
Can't take out sd or battery as metal case
Anyway not sure if this is meant to be in the HTC M7 category, a TWRP category, Rooting one.
I'm not sure if it is because the guide was for 4.3 and on 5.02 or what.
I don't really care about it being rooted so much as having my phone back. The only reason I wanted it rooted was to install the camera change that is supposed to get rid of the green tint.
Anyway thank you for your time. And I appreciate any assistance that can be given. I have spent hours trying to figure it out, but I am still confused and figure I am likely to screw it up even more
Thanks, looked some up but i'm not sure how I would get a ROM on it. No SD card, and computer no longer recognizes it.

[Completed] New user to this website

Hi guys, I'm a new user here with sooo much help needed. I'm looking for a solution regarding my phone.
My phone model is Alcatel OneTouch Magic.
The problem is that when i switch it on, its stuck on the logo screen. I remember this phone is infected with something that causes ads to appear on the screen.
Anyway, I dont mind losing all the data inside, so long as this phone is fixed. I'm able to boot into system recovery mode if that helps at all, I've tried factory data reset, wiping cache partition, and its still stuck so yeah.
Searched around the web, most suggest flashing a new rom, and i need someone to show me a step by step guide on how to do that, because I'm not too tech savvy. Flashing a new rom, restore a stock rom. whichever it is, I dont mind. as long as I'm able to use the phone.
Thanks guys hope you can show me where I can find solutions to this problem.
