Hi, this has been eating me inside for the past 3hrs so I'm hoping someone could help me out. I remember there was an option where you could send a shortcut of the battery manager onto your home screen so that you don't have to click settings > advanced settings > battery manager, etc. Anyone still remember on how to get the shortcut icon back on there?

Hi, I am a Huawei Mate SE user. I have tried to go find the "phone manager", could not figure out where this is located at. Anyone can help so that I can also put the battery manager shortcut in the home screen? Thank you.

Press on the clock of the TF3D home tab. Go to the "More" tab and check the box that says "display clock on the title bar for all programs."
Just realized youre not using TF3d. In that case go to the settings menu and go to "clock and alarms" in the system tab.

I used quickmenu a lot on my Tilt, but not yet on the TP. If I remember correctly someone cooked a rom with quickmenu built-in. You might try searching through the rom threads to find one that has it cooked in, and pm the chef with your questions. Sorry I couldn't be more help...good luck

To reactivate the task menu, go to
- QuickMenu > Option... > View > [_] Show battery on taskbar
- Settings > System > Task manager > Button > [v] Activate menu
(the English words may be a little different as I have another language on my phone).

Do you mean that you need to hold on the "Q" icon to keep the menu open, and that the menu closes as soon as you lift up your finger? I have never had this problem, I just click once and the menu stays open.

Yes, I say that I have to click on "Q" to activate the Q's start menu, and once I use it (clicking on), the second time clicking it appears the windows's standard menu, and to see quick's menu again I have to click again on the "Q"

Now I understand, this is quite strange. This could happen if you press the "Q" icon for a long time.
Maybe you can try the option "Replace system's start-menu" under the General tab (+ exit and start again QuickMenu). I don't know if it will help, but you can try and see what happens.
I'm sorry I don't have a better answer.
.
in "QucikMenu",Check "Replace system's startmenu".
then "setting">"system">"TouchFLO"===>don't use large startmenu
my rom is CHS,maybe the words are different

Hi,
it's pretty annoying that you have to tap twice to open the quick settings... first tapping the clock and then the settings symbol.
Is there any way to always open the quick settings?
may only if there are no notifications?
Thanks!
I just put the settings app which you can find in the "other" section when you long press on your home screen, onto my home screen. Just one tap needed now to get to them.
yes, but that opens just the normal settings menu...
i like the settings-popup, it would be cool if this could be modified and always opens for quick access
I have the Milestone XT720 rooted with Android 2.2.1 and running CM 6.3.0-RC3 for nearly a year. Overall things work well, occasionally will have the phone app hang and have to reboot, but not that big an issue.
I found one thread that sort-of related to my problem, but there was no answer included (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1060466).
The 'all apps' icon in the center of the ADW (at the bottom of the screen) vanished, heck, I may have done something to cause it for all I know. For the life of me, I can't find how to get back to the 'all apps' section. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. How can I get the icon back for it? When I click the greyed star, it says "No application defined yet, drop something here."
I would think if it's something you accidentally did you could delete the cache & data from manage app, of course you will have to reset all of your customization if you do that.
On the home screen press n hold > Launcher Actions > Open/Close app drawer.
You will see the "All Apps" icon on the screen. Just drag n drop it to the original place

PS: Don't hesitate to hit Thanks after it works

Any idea, how can I disable automatic creation of shortcuts on the home screen?
In the launcher settings (usually long press on empty space > Settings icon on the bottom of the screen).
it used to be in the Google Play settings but it seems to have vanished from there

It should be there in Oreo, but obviously Nokia didn't implemented that in the original ROM. Attaching a screenshot
