Restrore HTC One M8 to stock - PLEASE HELP - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Straight to the point. I have an HTC One M8 (Verizon) and it currently is running Android 6.0 with sense 7.0 / S-On / NON ROOTED
I wish to get rid of ALL Verizon Bloatware and stupid apps that come installed with it. And install the android marshmallow ROM that would come stock on a NON BRANDED M8
Could somebody please reply with a STEP BY STEP easy to follow set of instructions on what I need to do to achieve this.
like using Sunshine to get s-off and rooted. And links to an Official ROM and all that stuff.
And a question. . . . .Will my NON-VERIZON SIM still work after such a procedure? and will mobile data work (without configuring the GSM settings, which I had to do when I first got it)?
I am in New Zealand if that affects anything.
If somebody is willing to help me out I will be most thankful

LOL they're gonna just tell you to search and do some reading since everything you need is already on here.

[Q] Boost Mobile Samsung Nexus SPH-D720 Latest COMPLETE WORKING version???

Good Evening. I am using a Sprint branded Samsung Nexus S SPH-D720 on the Boost Mobile Network and have the 2.3.7 version of Android currently installed. I am new to these forums, and am looking to upgrade the current Operating System on the phone to the new Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.? version. Which is the best, newest, WORKING version that I should upgrade to as of today? Remember I am new, and NOT familiar with the flashing process on cellphones. Is there a guide I can use to help walk me through the process, and to backup the current version in case I make a mistake somewhere along the way - so that I can restore it? Someone please help. Thank you VERY MUCH!!!!
- NOOBJEFF
First of all you should consider if you want to unlock and root you phone. For most Roms you need to unlock the phone (which can be undone later) and the roms come with root access (which, under some circumstances can void your warranty).
Maybe you could just use the official ICS update, with that you don't really need to bother with flashing etc. if you don't want to.
Otherwise, you'll find lots of different roms in here (mainly in the android development forum) and also lots of guides how to do certain things.
Just look around, I'm sure you'll find most of the guides / answers you are looking for. If not, you sure are welcome to ask
just don't forget that you have to set your APN back to boost whenever you flash a ROM for your mms to work.
If you need help with flashing, send me a PM and I'll do what I can to help

HTC One S updates

So recently i bought an HTC One S with an S3 processor which its country is of Asia. I am currently at europe. I still am on Android 4.0.3 and there doesnt seem to be an update for my phone. Now i know that 4.0.4 and also JB are rolling out, but not for my device. Is there anything I can do to solve this ?
Thanks
I live in a country where HTC sell the S3 processor only. I had my cousin sent me HOS from US, big difference.
You might want to trade for an S4 though.
In the meantime you can search the development forum and look for an S3 ROM.
Not many but there are some.

HOS stands for Htc One S and a Rom is basically an operating system for your device that is nothing like stock, has tweaks here and there things that stock doesnt, and if you root you will.still be able to receive updates but you have to relock the phone and some other things I can't remember then you can apply the update, basically you can't apply update to a rooted phone its just gonna give you and installation error then reboot your phone I think but that's basically it for your questions, hopefully it was helpful to you
T-Mobile HTC one s
Htc one S
Thanks for the information !
A friend told me that if i root the phone i can change my firmware from Asia to Europe where i live so that i can recieve updates accordingly to my phone. Is this true ?
Also is there a detailed noob instructions for me to follow and learn more about rooting the phone and installing customs ROMS etc. ?
Thanks

If you root, you can manually install all sorts of fun stuff. I think if you want to remain as close to stock and receive "official" updates, super cid is something you might wanna read about. There's a thread in the Dev Section by Torxx that I used to root my S4 you might wanna look over and see if that's for you. Make sure everything you decide to do is compatible with your S3 first though.
Edit: there's also another guide in the general section

[Q] HTC Inspire Root Kit????

I am not new to rooting android devices. I currently have a N7 that I unlocked and others. Where is a program that can root and install CWM? I am wanting to run this rom, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37060683, which inspiremod should I use? All the root kits seem to have been removed. Is there still one available somewhere for this phone?
Advanced Ace Hack Kit. You will need to Google for it; it's no longer on XDA.

TWRP Issue with Verizon OTA 4.4.4 HTC ONE M8

Hello everyone,
I am looking for help with my HTC M8 I am running custom Rom Venom. I would like to upgrade to the newly released Verizon 4.4.4. However since I have TWRP this is not happening. I also used sunshine to achieve unlock and S-off. So my questions are
1) What is the best way to flash back to stock or do I want to ?
2) If a flash to stock will I loose what sunshine gave me ( unlock & S-off )
3) Can I do a manual flash of the OTA
Thanks in advance everyone !! Love this Forum XDA !!

There are plenty of 4.4.4 roms you can flash in the development section...just make sure you update your firmware first. Super easy to do (much easier than returning to stock to take OTA).
Read the OP in this thread carefully and you'll have what you need.

Oreo or rooted Noughat!

Hello all,
Since there wasn't any thread for the general questions here, I opened this one!
I have a note 8 from AT&T with the Android 7.1.1 on it (baseband N950USQS3BRA8) which is sim unlocked so I can use it on T-Mobile.
Using the software update on the phone doesn't give me the recent update, I've already read all threads and I think the only resolution is to do it with odin. On the other hand, I like to have a rooted phone (didn't know samFail came out and always was sorry to be forced to use the stock ROM)
Now my question is which is better for me? what's the gain updating to Oreo? Isn't better to root instead? if so, what instruction to follow to root 7.1.1 on my phone?
Auxilary questions:
I don't have video call anymore (after switching from AT&T to T-Mobile), would it be enabled after root?
I don't know how to change 611 mask number from whatever number AT&T is using to the one from T-Mobile (just curious to know if there is a possible way, maybe using T-Mobile ROM instead of one from AT&T) So is it possible to use another carrier's ROM on my phone?
Please, anyone?!
no answer?!
