Since the .224 update, everytime I open certain apps the phone shuts down immediately and the red led light flashes. Restart's ok but repeats the issue if I do it again. During restart the black screen has a green line going through it like a bootup sequence of sorts. Anybody experience this? is it overheating?

Lately my Nexus 5 (running CM11) will occasionally turn allow me to turn the screen on, and the notification LED will start slowly flashing a whitish-blue color.
It even seems to resist me trying to reset it, as I'll hold the power button down for 30 seconds at a time and it won't reboot. After doing this 5 or 6 times eventually it'll reboot and then act fine.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of behavior or know something to try? It's been happening for a few weeks now so I'm not sure if it started with the latest M-build or is unrelated.
Thanks,
Bish
MY nexus since this morning started to reboot randomly.
When it starts, it keeps rebooting at the google logo (not the animation), sometime it can go past it, going into android with the shut down option displayed, but after 3 seconds it reboots itself.
Sometimes it happen that when it enters android, it will optimize apps , enter android, and then reboot again.
It will do even on the recovery. (wanted to try with a reflash/wipe/etcetc)
What do you think guys? Battery problem? power button malfunction?
Should I sent it to google and hope they do not charge me anything?
I have had a 955(European, but I live in Canada) for about 3 months or so and just recently the phone's blue LED light turned on and just doesn't want to turn off. It is dimly lit but disappears briefly when I restart the phone. I have tried to reset the phone several times with no effect. When the light is off (for the few minutes after restart), LEDs pop up like normal (white for texts, green for calls). When the blue light turns on and stays on, no other LED shows up. I haven't made any changes to the phone in recent times. On a side note (I don't know if it's related), the phone has also been dropping calls several times per day as of late, sometimes upwards of 20 times per day. I changed the SIM card but that didn't do anything. The phone itself has also been acting a bit bizarrely, where random apps popped up without being opened, and call screen doesn't disappear even after pressing "end call." Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is getting quite irritating.

After dropping my XZ on a table, it just went completly dead. The device switched off and wouldn't start again. So I tried to charge it, and hoped for the best, but when I connect it to a charger something strange occurs. The small red charging light comes on, and the black "SONY" text on a white background shows for a few seconds, then the device shuts off and the red light disappears. And from there on it just loops from black screen to red light -> sony logo -> black screen no red light -> red light -> sony logo -> black screen no red light and so on.
I've tried 2 different chargers (for several hours), tried starting it holding vol up and also starting it holding vol down. Tried connecting it to a computer with the xperia companion software, but it doesn't show any signs of connection. The SD card is removed.
I assume it has to be some kind of hardware issue (relating to the drop, yes i was drunk). But does anybody have experience from this problem and might advise what part is broken?
What you actually did with your mobile, step by step.
I don't know if it is bad hardware or what but the issue first started when I was sending a text and my phone crashed. It then would boot into the google icon and reset doing that as a bootloop. I put the phone aside for a bit and then tried restarting it the phone would start but after 5 min of use would freeze then crash. It keep starting up fully then crashing after 5 min. After a few times of that it went back into the bootloop of just the google logo on the white screen.
I also will see like fuzzy lines over the screen sometimes before the phone crashes, any advice?

You can contact Google pixel help as long as it's not in beta.
Have you tried holding power down about 7-10 seconds and while hold down power for those seconds, hold down vol up and then release vol up, then power. Should put you in a screen with options.
