My phone is XT1033 asia retail with paranoid android 5.1.1 rom. I want an android lollipop 5.1.1 custom rom which is recieving weekly updates!
Please help.
you dont get any 5.1.1 custom ROMS with weekly updates anymore. however there is a CM12.1 build that is updated monthly with latest security updates.

you will have to move onto CM13 (nightlies) or any other MM builds if you are interested in more frequent updates.

What do you think about 5.1? I heard it fixes many problems with 5.0.2 and do you think we will get an official update to 5.1 from Cyanogen as they just released 5.0.2, how long do you think it will take and do you think they will release patches for 5.0.2 or jump to 5.1? Comment below

considering that the main cm 12 is progressing quickly to 12.1 I think a 12.1s is not too far away, but will probably come after 12.1 nightlies are well underway.

The updates will contain minor changes and bug fixes .it's unlikely mtkroms can make new build ota updates cause there are a lot of phones running RR and their files are diffrent .so chances are low there will be ota updates that'll take you to new ROM versions cause with all these phone model it's hard to make a universal update that doesn't need to be ported again before flashing.

Google recently released some important security patches for KitKat 4.4.4, my question is, how can I apply these patches to my CM11 without upgrading to CM13?

You need to compile the rom yourself. What is even worse is that CM does not apply security patches to Kitkat anymore, which means, not only you have to know how to compile CM-11, but also you have apply patches one by one manually...
An easier alternative would be to upgrade to CM-12.1, which has most security patches...
